Getting screwed over - Clem is going with ****
Clem going with Kate dooms you to a sole survivor ending and it's pretty unfair honestly. You can either:
-Both go with Kate (She lives, David gets and offscreen death and Gabe dies)
-Go after Gabe (Gabe lives, Kate is missing and David is bitten)
What did people do to deserve this ending? It's pretty unfair to be doomed to only have one survivor. Also, you physically cannot save David. At all. It's just so unfair and I wish the final choice was a little more balanced rather than screwing some people over entirely.

Yeah, that bothered me too. Which is especially potent because of the whole "Clem can do no wrong" mindset.
they wanted to show you that "choices matter" and all that bullshit. multiple endings have never worked for them. they should've made choices matter more in other areas of the episode, like maybe make the joan/clint situation matter, the tripp/ava situation actually lead to something, etc. not just kill off a bunch of your underdeveloped main cast.
You CAN save Davif if you go after him with Clementine.
First choices don't matter enough and now it's unfair. Telltale can't win.
David can live.
David can live watch my gameplay videos
Well these are basically choices (apparently) from a flashback with Clementine in Episode 3 rather than the relationship with Javier throughout the entire game. Which is confusing since the game has been pushing for either Javier's relationship with Clementine to be friendly or hostile. You'd think that would factor into the ending?
Also, if Clementine's story is going to continue with AJ, then the possibility of an ANF with Javier is pretty slim, because of the diverse endings, determinant characters, ect. It'd be too much work for Telltale to put effort into, especially after the multiple endings Season 2 had when it carried over to ANF. So I think these ending choices for ANF were just a shell, it won't continue.
I know right.
I find it way more interesting to have several of your choices made previously in the season influence the ending you might have, than just a single choice you make at the end. Going with X or Y is the choice ''your'' Clementine made, based on your previous choices. The fact you cannot tell her exactly where to go and where you want to go at the end is a good thing, the same way she chooses by herself whether or not she understands what David did with AJ, whether or not she should shoot David and how exactly she should interact with Gabe as he dies. It shows how she grew as a character. That would be so simple to just choose the ending you want at the last minute and it would require way less work from Telltale...
If Op wants to save David, then they'll have to replay the whole game and make it so Clementine would choose to either go after Gabe or follow them wherever they want to go.
You can get Kate and Gabe both, so you aren't locked in with only 1 survivor in all cases.
Clementine offered me to split up, if I go after David & Gabe, she'd go with Kate and vice versa.
I went after D & G, David still died, Gabe survived, and Kate was gone (not dead or turned), she vanished. I guess she ran off since I didn't have a relationship with her.
I know Telltale isn't good with multiple endings, but I am amazed at the multitude of possibilities.
There are like 10 endings (over exaggerated a bit).

In that link is also a couple walkthroughs for different endings.
My Clementine is A Free Spirit, does everybody get the end scene where she kills a couple of walkers, saying she's gonna find AJ, and the sentence "Clementine's story continues..."?
Yeah, but not if your Clementine chooses to go with Kate. You are locked out of saving him, since it requires both of you to go.
I know, but not if Clementine chooses Kate.
Not if Clementine chooses to go with Kate, which is my point. You cannot save David if she picks this.
Well I disliked Kate with a passion and she was the only one that died so my ending was just perfect!
Well, I would argue it is pretty unfair to be locked out of saving a character because of random choices you made during flashbacks. They just could've gone about it a lot better.
Then you have to change accepting/rejecting Ava's offer, inject or not inject AJ or spit on David
