Eve… morery other ship I'm unsure or "meh" about as long as it's not abusive. I will say, though, that back when I thought Ava was about Clem's age, I was hoping one of them would have a crush on the other, but when I heard from David that she was a former soldier, that tipped me off that she was an adult and I jumped ship pretty quickly.
I don't think either would be taking advantage of the other. While Clem is more mature in certain areas than Gabe is, that's not the case with romantic relationships. Clem has no experience on that area, she didn't even know exactly how to deal with having her period yet.
I see where you are coming from, but they are on that age where teens can be very mature for some stuff and very immature for other stuff, and in a situation where their development ends up being forced on one direction. I think when it comes to romantic relationships, the two of them are on about the same level of maturity, and that's where it counts in my opinion.

Might have a chance with a group that has mothers and children around, but that is unlikely. We see that happening when she joined New Frontier. They treated her like any other adult.
Meanwhile Gabriel was taken care by his stepmother and uncle. He got his sister who looks more mature than him. Both adults never taught them to fight because they considered children, yet. Javi and Kate were the one always taking the lead while he was with his sister -to take care of her-. If telltale gave him the same "opportunity" as they did with Clem, then he could have been a badass as Clem.
Yeah, the finale definitely retconned that if it was true, which @Dont_Look_Back recently said wasn't the case. Even though I think he's the one who posted.
I agree on both points. I actually found it pretty surprising when I came onto the forums and saw just how much backlash the pairing of Clementine and Gabe was getting. While I definitely think the writing and development could have been way better, it's not like it's unheard of for young teens to develop quick crushes on each other. I thought it was sweet seeing them have a crush on each other.
It goes without saying that any ships involving a kid and an adult are absolutely gross.
