So yeah, I'd have 20% chance of surviving till my old age in an apocalypse, but I'd probably get devoured by walkers on the second an outbreak would start.
I doubt any of us would survive, unless some of you carry a big bag of luck on your back.

I think I'd be screwed due to a dissorder I have that causes me a lot of pain. Only shot guns are legal here with proper licences and permits. Horribly cold and long winters.
On the plus side, Canada is massive with a very small population, so maybe the zombies would be easier to manage if I headed further north.
Plus I have a secret, extremely secure spot that I could acess as my dad and only two other people work. It's a water power plant in my home town. It's a place completely built out of cement with heavy metal doors that would be extremely difficult to break into. There is extremely limited access with completely barred high metal Windows. Its against waterfalls on a lake with only one side of access down a very steep hill that walkers would have a rough time accessing. There are tonnes of tools, fresh water, fishing, and a lot of people don't really realize that's the plant as it's semi underground. So I have that in my back pocket!!! I don't know if it would work out 100%, but it's the best place I can think of for the ZA.
You would be quite lucky to have that place, if something like that really happend.
I'd be fine. I live in Hawaii food and water is everywhere. Also since lots of shit grows here everyone has machetes(And you know machetes are great to keep walkers at a low) to keep from getting overgrown. My family also can sustain itself completely off solar energy. The only suffering I would sustain is less meat and more vegetables and fruits.
Also forgot to mention 4.0 student with A.P classes as a sophomore and the best in my grade for track distance running. My vision is also far greater than the average person. Where I live everybody knows everyone and I am liked quite a lot(you know because I am not a dick) therefore my list of people who would trust me is very high.
If we're honest, most of us would die on the first day just because no one knows what the fuck is happening and would get chomped pretty fast. If we look at the show and comics, maybe 1/1000 actually survived the initial outbreak, and that's a generous guess. It would mean that of the 290,000,000 people living in the US in 2003, only some 290,000 survived the initial outbreak. Obviously a ton of people died in the following weeks, months and even years, so that we're now probably down to 100,000 people in the US, if that. Could also be less.
What I'm trying to say is that, statistically, one person on this forum would survive the outbreak going solely with the US (which I know many users are not from, myself included) and would probably still die a few days or weeks later. So no, we'd all die.
I know nothing about guns, so firearms are out of the option. I do have some knowledge about fixing electronics as that's my job so I could probably rig up some stuff like Doug did, and I have some leadership skills. Alone however, I'm fucked.

I'm honestly hoping for a screw up in the new game to be simply a guy who lost his glasses so he depends on everyone else but they end up dying to protect him.

On one hand, I'm pretty omnivorous, usually cautious, and try to be pragmatic within reason. On the other hand, I don't think I'd be much of a killer and have never been camping.
If Gabe can survive, I can too.
If Javi and his Magic School Bus group and the Cabin Group can survive literal years in the apocalypse, then I have hope.
