Stop these threads
Can everyone stop the "season 3 is shite/i dont want a season 4" threads. I get it. Season 3 was shit but we dont have to make a million threads about it. And actually i didnt think it was that bad. But season 1 was so good so it set a high standard

I agree, a lot of these types of threads have no substance, and are extremely repetitive. I know there were a lot of problems with ANF, but a good portion of people still liked it overall. If you don't want a season 4, then don't buy it. I for one think that telltale is still capable of making a great game as long as they take the negative feedback seriously. I'm still interested in seeing much more from this series. The walking dead universe has so much potential. Please stop making repetitive threads. I honestly don't even understand why half these people who are apparently done with the games continue to frequent twd forums.
That's just the way this message board is. Probably could use a little more moderating but at least it is fairly active still. You don't have to look at the threads you don't want to look at. Just read the threads you want to read and post on the threads you want to post on and you can get the kind of conversations going that you are looking for.
thank you.

We'll stop them when we get good content.
Lol judging from what ive seen in these threads, thats gonna take a while
As long as it's worth the wait. These threads are going to be coming for the next few years. Unless Telltale rushes Season 4 in a couple of years time.
No. This is not about high standards. This didn't even meet normal ok standards.
No we won't this Site if about voicing our concerns and we all know S4 will SUCK like A New Frontier did.
We don't know that. I agree that we shouldn't stop with threads that critique aspects of ANF, because I do agree that it was bad and should have been better, but the quality of this season does not automatically determine the quality of the next season.
It will be the same i bet. Telltale never learn from their mistakes and get worse in fact. And S4 will be for Newcomers again, Its the new trend for each telltale game
No
How about rather than wanting people to stop posting threads about their dislike of Season 3 or not wanting a season 4, we instead focus on posting more positive threads.
There is little point in complaining about a type of post if you aren't willing to try and create threads yourself.
I thought it was gonna be a protest against threads about Clem's sexuality.
They're gonna die down eventually. So I wouldn't pay too much mind to them.
No one wanted to hate on season 3, but ANF was just so unbelievably disappointing that there's barely anything good to say about it.
I made two threads a little while back, one for everything ANF did right and one for everything it did wrong, and the amount of points in the wrong thread compared to the right thread was staggering. There just isn't much positive to say about A New Frontier, which is a real shame.
They won't. These threads have been popping up since December. Its evident, while they want to admit it or not- that Clementine not being the protagonist, telltale overblowing how "big" the premiere was, and the admittedly crap flashbacks to season 2 that undermine the final choice of that season- made most people here not only biased and salty to not only ANF but Telltale as a whole, to the point where it just comes across as immature. They were never really going to give this season a chance, and anybody that did like ANF, were antagonized and just stayed out of the forums because of it. Maybe this is why Telltale was trying to find a new audience with ANF :P
We're just disappointed with this season because it couldn't live up to its hype. The slaughterhouse, Clem being a second playable and "main" character, a possible rebellion/civil war in Richmond, and so much more were scrapped last minute so we came playing with high expectations only to be disappointed in the end.
Basically, we're voicing our opinions on the season and helping Telltale on how to make next season better. I can agree it can get annoying after a while, especially the minor ones like Clem's period, but if someone wants to rant on how cringy it was, than let them. Same goes with Gabe's character (which the majority of fans dislike).
My advice: wait/play season four with low expectations so that when it does come out and it's great, many people will be blown away and start to praise the season and forum more.
What do you mean? In your right thread you had gotten about double the posts versus the wrong thread. Also more likes towards the right thread. Although I believe season 3 was a worse let down than season 2.
The right thread was created a while before the wrong thread, and most of its posts consisted of jokes pissing on ANF or made up to five points max in a single post
Meanwhile the wrong thread had almost like 15 well detailed points in each post and paragraphs of cons for ANF.
I never wanted to hate this game but after the lies they have told us about ANF and rewrites, they made me lose my trust on them and their games, I've been waiting 3 YEARS to see this sequel have an improvement on the issues of Season 2 and from it is for now, I've been waiting for a DISAPPOINTMENT instead.
They don't deserve any apologizes, they started this development since July 2014, the only good reason for that is that Season 2 had multiple endings and they promised they will have a big impact in Season 3 and they just broke it. They don't even want to admit anything. I'm not falling for their bullshit over again. Fuck Telltale.
Given that the praise for the Walking Dead was outstripping the complaints, even for season 2, are you trying to say that Telltale was trying to find a new audience because of problems that didn't exist at the time they released season 3?
Forgive me if that isn't what you meant but that is how the post comes across.
People are allowed to make these threads so long as the content within them follows the forum's guidelines, there's nothing anyone can really do, however, what people like you who are sick of those threads can do is not click on them and just ignore them.
Will they though. For example after five years a thread about Mass Effect 3 will still bring up heated debate about the quality of the shipped endings.
Mass Effect 3 at least had the combat gameplay to fall back on, most tend to think it was a great third person shooter.
So will a series that relies heavily on its story telling really quiet down about the season that is the most divisive in its story telling?
More issue specific topics and titles would go a long way instead of general bellyaching over the same general problems a LOT of Telltale's game have in common.
I mean... really tho? What about, what about.... If you don't break the ice, Bonnie die.
Tales From the Borderlands, Game of Thrones, and Guardians of the Galaxy would like to have a word with you.
Same.
We allready know by every season passes the quality drops even more.....we either want them to get better and don't rush the fuck up or just cancel the pain allready we had enough bullshit
It was a joke basing on how toxic the community had gotten since season 2 and especially during ANF.
Does someone know why they dropped slaughterhouse and a lot of the others things just before the release ? Everything seemed to be ready, such Javi with NF mark !
So why change that at the last minute ?
Because it wasn't a "Authentic Walking Dead story" or something along the lines of that.
What !? Really !!!
It is even worst than what I thought.
It is like spending 50 minutes to dissert during an exam and erase then restart everything during the last 10 minutes
Yeah, pretty much. How doesn't that make it an authentic Walking Dead story, though? I mean, a man had a pet tiger in both comics and TV show!
You know I actually quite liked season 3, it wasn't amazing, it felt kinda rushed and there was nowhere near enough Clem in it for my liking, but it's really not as awful as everyone is making it out to be.....this fandom is getting just as bad as the Dragon Age fandom..... a lot of you guys just seem to complain. It's sad.....
It’s sad that Telltale is becoming more and more lazy. The quality of their games are substantially decreasing—if you’re going to blame anyone, blame them, not us. If they released an actual good game, it wouldn’t have this many complaints (e.g. Tales threads back then or even S2 threads)
ANF has blessed us with something new to bitch about.
Maybe they should stop making Walking Dead games for a while, and focus on other titles.
Or maybe the total opposite !
