How long did it take for Kenny to get out of Savannah?
I'm guessing maybe no more than a week. He probably stayed there for a few days, maybe checking the area to find the others before deciding to leave.
Where do you think he would have headed?
Well since finding a boat was his main priority and it soon got stolen, he probably just moved around a lot after that.
How long was he alone before Sarita found him?
For most of the 16 month time skip. I think he only knew Sarita for a short time, maybe a few months. When they found him, she said his beard was longer and he couldn't lift up a fly. So for Kenny to get back in shape, he had to be with them for at least a few months.
I'm just asking for speculation here

I don't believe so, Kenny didn't mention it during the travel to the weak and unfinished building from what I recall, and when he got there, it was only talked about when he got the truck functioning.
It's been a while, so why not doing some

I believe a common complaint with recent games is the deficit of hub areas. What are areas in the game where you think we could've had hubs areas and what characters would you have liked to be available in them?

What type of Singer do you think each character is?
Yeah, he didn't redeem himself in my opinion, but he did start actually expressing his thoughts and emotions. Ben most likely would've started being more helpful subsequently, but died before we could see that occur.
He didn't, but he did stand up for himself and that was amazing. Also I find the fact that Kenny 'dies' trying to save Ben, whom he wanted to drop from the bell tower, is pretty amazing too, even though I prefer the Christa sacrifice
How long did it take for Kenny to get out of Savannah?
A few days possibly, I wouldn't believe that Kenny looked for the other necessarily as he knew they probably just dipped out of Savannah. I could only see him searching around for Clementine possibly, but he probably knew Lee would do anything to save Clem.
Where do you think he would have headed?
Up north, probably met Sarita on his way, and was severely injured when meeting Sarita (as Sarita depicts their first meeting to be). Then he landed at the lodge after that, most likely was on his way to Wellington.
How long was he alone before Sarita found him?
Probably a year, or who knows really, it's a 16 month time skip from seasons 1 to 2. It sounds like they've been together long enough to been in a relationship to say the least.

How exactly did Ben "get redeemed" if you saved him? Mostly on Tumblr I hear them talk about how when he yelled at Kenny (the whole "give me… more a fucking break!" scene) that's him... redeeming himself? Standing up for himself, sure, definitely, but that's not gonna bring Kenny's family and Carley/Doug back and it's certainly not him doing some sort of heroic deed to help the group.
Personally, I don't think he redeemed himself and I like it better that way. Not everyone gets a chance to redeem themselves. It's realistic that way.

I couldn't agree more with you on everything you said. My main issue was the disgustingly short episodes and the lack of gameplay, hubs with little to no character interaction or development. Yes, I agree completely. In regards to her character, she behaves nothing like my seasons 1 and 2 moral Clementine, hell, she even murders Eli over her own impulses (despite having no evidence he intentionally provided her with faulty cartridges, and he was even willing to return her offer back to her, he was noticeably scared and Clementine contradicts her own season 2 gun advice). Not to mention with this Gabentine cringe garbage, it makes it even worse. I also didn't like the period scene much, I thought it was unnecessary (we don't need to know about people taking shits or some dude's morning wood, so we don't need to know about her period, we already compre… [view original content]

I want a second opinion or two on this: In an alternate telling of Ties that Bind Part 2 where Mariana didn't die and Kate wasn't shot, do you think there should be an option to have Kate go after Gabe instead?
I want a second opinion or two on this: In an alternate telling of Ties that Bind Part 2 where Mariana didn't die and Kate wasn't shot, do you think there should be an option to have Kate go after Gabe instead?
I meant Ties that Bind, where Gabe runs off after Kate's surgery and Eleanor/Conrad(I don't remember who) tell you he'll need help getting through what happened.
Though what is the reasoning behind your other answer?

Like in the ending? If yes, than maybe not. Kate will still save Richmond while David will take Gabe and Mariana.
I meant Ties that Bind, where Gabe runs off after Kate's surgery
Oh, I think Mariana will first help Kate than try to comfort Gabe.
Though what is the reasoning behind your other answer?
Because Kate still wants to save Richmond no matter the choices you make. If Mariana was alive, she'll obviously be more concerned but will still want to save Richmond. David will still take his family and try to leave. However, unlike Gabe, Mariana would want to stay with Javi and Kate.

Hm. That does make sense. I'd probably make it so that who David takes is random though, if only to keep the variety going and keep things simple/nonredundant.

Which is worse when it comes to the logical variation of choices and relationships: Season 2(with it's bi-dimensional and overpowering choices) or A New Frontier(where variation and/or drama occasionally takes precedence over common sense)?
Was the junkyard actually the New Frontier's base or was it just an attempt to raid a nearby location like what was found out later. The New Frontier didn't seem to know about the hatch in the trailer so it might be possible.
Would you say Max would actually give Javi gas if he asked or was he just saving his skin in front of Joan and Clint
Was the junkyard actually the New Frontier's base or was it just an attempt to raid a nearby location like what was found out later. The New Frontier didn't seem to know about the hatch in the trailer so it might be possible.
In hindsight, I think it might've been both. After all, Badger was also among the group and the trailer definitely seemed like a little getaway where they could come relax in between trips. It's possible that Max simply either overlooked the hatch in the moment or assumed they already ran off and didn't bother.
Would you say Max would actually give Javi gas if he asked or was he just saving his skin in front of Joan and Clint
Probably not, as the whole reason he was so aggressive and suspicious of him despite saying he understands why Javier would be there innocently is that another group of survivors got one over on them previously and he wasn't just gonna take that chance of letting it happen again without investigating first.
And unused scripting text in the games files mentions that had Javier simply cooperated, Max would've had him handcuffed just to be safe so they can safely escort him to what would eventually be Richmond, with the text emphasizing that it should be subtly implied that they don't intend to hurt him. This was of course changed at some point to have Javier seriously injure Lonnie when he hears Kate/Gabe/Mariana under the hatch, which is why Max takes quite a bit to examine him and Rufus(who was supposed to be in the scene instead of Badger) was so worked up about it.

What are areas in the game where you think we could've had hubs areas and what characters would you have liked to be available in them?
I think there should have been 1-2 within each episode that were actually significant with at least all major characters. The only episode I remember more than 1 was part 1, but the second one was pretty weak (while wandering around prescott, I believe right before Clementine shoots the vendor). The first one was OK in the junkyard, it was nice to be able to talk to each Garcia family member.
Part 2 there was one I remember, when you have to move the cars, but it was absolute trash. Each character barely said more than 1 short reply to Javi. It would have been great if you could have had a real conversation and find out what was on everyone's minds about what was beyond the cars. I think that maybe another suitable place for a hub would have been either after Jesus is introduced and before you go through the tunnels. Maybe just give a few minutes to discuss a new strategy before heading off towards the end of the episode. Another reasonable place would have been in the road after escaping Prescott when Richmond is first brought up. This would have been a good space for everyone to talk about what just happened, especially Tripp and Elenor because they seemed to not care at all for some reason? At least Conrad was showing some emotion.
Episode 3, I would say while you enter Richmond it might have been okay to have more of a chance to talk to everyone, maybe some random residents. It would have been nice to get perspective from these people instead of just the leaders, find out of it was actually a good settlement or not. If not there, when locked in the little jail might have been nice. Regroup with everyone on a more individual basis and try to come up with a plan with everyone who is with you.
Episode 4, it would have been good in the apartment when they were trying to figure out their strategy...I would have liked to speak with each group member.
Episode 5 had less time to chit chat but maybe on the roof before Javi randomly makes that jump to the fire escape thingy, or maybe after the dumb scene of Ava/Tripp dying so we could actually get a reaction out of people about the deaths? They barely paid attention, especially Clementine with Ava, it was super dumb.
Those are all I can think about for now, I hope they realize how important hubs are for character development and immersion into the story.
What type of pony would each character be? Who would be a non-pony?

How do you think Mariana felt about David?
I think she was maybe too young when the outbreak happened to really remember him clearly. From what I could tell, she seemed to have a positive view of David, but she really didn't give us enough insight. She seemed too stable to really have anything against him in a noticeable way.

No, for being such a minor character I think Rufus got a good amount of screentime. Max deserved so much more like possibly teaming up with Javi and helping him take out Joan. Still, I would've preferred Max switching spots with Rufus in that scene than being completely forgotten about.
I asked this in my composite character thread, but I might as well as it here.
Here's something I'm unsure about: should Rufus' determinant role in From the Gallows have been given to Max?
Yeah, I wish he'd gotten to do more too. My thought process was that it'd make some of his behavior and actions throughout the story, particularly where David, Kate, and determinately Mariana are concerned, make perfect sense, even if it is a little obvious a reveal.

No, for being such a minor character I think Rufus got a good amount of screentime. Max deserved so much more like possibly teaming up with Javi and helping him take out Joan. Still, I would've preferred Max switching spots with Rufus in that scene than being completely forgotten about.
Yeah, I wish he'd gotten to do more too. My thought process was that it'd make some of his behavior and actions throughout the story, particularly where David, Kate, and determinately Mariana are concerned, make perfect sense, even if it is a little obvious a reveal.
I just thought about this: If Eleanor was given her apartment by the Council and Lingard said Joan was on the lookout for them, then why didn't she send anyone to search Eleanor's apartment?
Also, didn't a list of choices for Thicker than Water leak a week before the episode came out? Does anyone know where to find it?
That makes having him with you a small chance for people to see him redeem himself.
