For the most part just a set up issue to get things started on the storylines for the next arc or two. The Stephanie storyline will be the main focus with Maggie dealing with the fact that Rick is letting Negan go free as a secondary story. Repercussions of Sherry being killed will also be dealt with in the next arc or two.
Kirkman sure is taking his sweet old time letting the audience in on where exactly in Ohio this new group is. The characters officially know the general area where it is (Rick told Stephanie for them to agree to meet at a place in the general area of where they are located but not so close that they would be able to find it) and they are now heading off to that location.
It will be interesting where in Ohio they meet at. Wellington was close to Cleveland so if they wind up meeting somewhat close to the Cleveland area it could infact be Wellington that Stephanie is from.
I think this issue was needed. The last couple ones were very action and emotionally filled. I think we needed to just see what the fuck's goin' on now.
And bloody hell, Rick 'At this point, what's one more fucking grave'. I think badass Rick's back in town, mate. Andrea seemed to hold him back a lot, and with Carl/Michonne and basically everyone close to Rick leaving, Rick can go on a fucking rampage.

Bad feeling about Negan. He seems too at peace, and Here's Negan only has one more issue. Wouldnt be surprised if he bites the dust shortly after, I'm not sure who is going to be able to save him if Maggie and her people come for justice.
Negan doesn't need saving, he's too badass . I'm sure he'll save himself ( besides, Kirkman enjoys writing him too much , I don't think he would kill him soon.)

Negan's been around for a good 5 years now. He's outlived every other threat to Rick's group there is and has had a decent run but even I think his time should come soon. Kirkman even said that he'd kill Negan off as soon as he was out of ideas for him

Did you know that Negan was originally supposed to be killed off earlier...like way earlier in the comics? Rick was going to bring his head in a box and give it to Maggie and apologize about Glenn's death a few issues after #100.
But Kirkman ended up liking him so much he decided to let him live longer.

Yes. I'm aware he was only supposed to have like a 5-7 issue life span. And I'm glad Kirkman made him survive far past that but I feel his character has accomplished and done enough to the point to where can safely be killed off by Maggie. Which would be a climatic end to his arc.

Negan really should have been killed off at the end of AOW. His storylines have been very forced ever since then. Rick choosing to keep him alive makes very little sense giving the fact that Negan tried to enslave people. The reason Kirkman tried to have for it didn't make much since either as Rick never was like Negan. Rick's group never attempted to enslave communities. Rick never tortured people. The two are nothing a like.
I'm really hoping Negan dies soon because his character has been run into the ground.

Negan is kinda becoming Lola Mendieta... just waiting there... until someone decides to make them snap. He, I'm sure he will start traficating with art across time and space in any time.

Better Maggie leave Negan
I haven't read it yet. Did anything shocking happen? Simple yes or no is fine.
Shocking? No, peacful issue

I think badass Rick is coming back!

I think this issue makes it clear that Negan is going to die soon. If he's leaving Alexandria what more use could Kirkman have for him?
Wellington is destroyed by now in the comics.

Imagine if he runs into Clementine or anything like that? Or even happens to stumble into Richmond?

I think Kirkman said it himself that Negan and Carl are his two favorite characters.
While possible it's definitely not probable or preferable imo.

It's hard to be a badass with a fucked up knee and one arm less than normal, but damn did he shut Dwight down.
