  • Nope. I didn't really feel anything this season.

S1 ending was very emotional. Some of the Kenny-based S2 endings were also emotional (not the Jane ones).

The S2 endings which I found emotional were:

    • Leaving Kenny after finding AJ.
    • Stay in/Leave Wellington and Kenny's little "speech".
  • I felt no emotion in ANF. S1 and S2 endings got me so hard.

I only felt something at Kenny's second flashback and when David died and only because I liked him. And maybe when they took AJ from Clem. I honestly don't remember what I felt when I saw that scene. And that's all. These are the only moments that I "felt" something.

I was slightly teary-eyed at the end of Season 1.

I was disastified and frustrated at the end of Season 2.

I was crying from the inside by the end of A New Frontier.

I dread what the next season will do to me.

You will turn into tears in Season 4

You will literally just morph into a giant tear drop

  • I cried at the Season 1 ending, powerful stuff. Season 2 was kind of sad but... not really worth a tear over.

I cried at the ending of ANF... With laughter at how bad it was.

  • Well, in every season, any pig die. So, I good

You know, I kind of like the fact that it didn't feel like they were going all out on having a sad ending this time. Granted, they could have had a few more emotional moments overall (to say the least), but I'm glad that for once, it didn't feel like the entire season was building towards some huge tear-jerking moment at the end.

I mean, I get it, the game is about characters and getting attached and all that... but that doesn't mean every single season has to have some big heartbreaking moment that makes you cry. In fact, I'm all for them breaking up the pattern a little bit. A finale that ends on a higher note, which isn't as emotionally devastating as the others? Kind of a nice change of pace, to be honest.

But I'll be the first guy here to admit there's a few scenes that got me teary-eyed (to varying degrees):

    • Gabe's death

    • David's on-screen death

    • "The one who didn't die"

    "The one who didn't die"

At the moment I was about 90% sure that AJ was alive, but that line still got me. ;_:.

  • Cried during the end of season 1.

Certain scenes for Season 2 had me a little upset. (Omid's death)

I felt nothing for anf. Felt nothing for any of the characters's deaths.

  • Oh yeah, definitely...just not for the reasons Telltale wanted me to.

pffft, where's the fun in that

you are supposed to be moderating.

  • Not really.

Some scenes were sad and emotional, but I had no tears coming out of my eyes, like in Season 1.

  • Oh, so a little like that guy from the first X-Men movie.

    That sounds lovely.

  • i never actually cried in any of the seasons thought i did feel really sad when characters i liked died the only moment where i felt the same level of sadness i felt in season 1 was when David died in episode 5 .

  • David's onscreen death got me a bit kinda sad but that's about it.

  • Nope. All the deaths at the end were poorly done, especially Kate's.

  • I guess I almost approached that, but I'm not much of a crier to begin with, so take that as you will.

  • Oh, he was. Can't ya tell?

  • Yes I did, actually. But for different reasons...

Agreed, though I' feel the first bullet point was unnecessary.

    Nope, not even close.

S1 got me. I cried like a little bitch. There were actual tears running down my cheeks, I was so moved.

S2 got me a teary eyed. I choked up a bit because of that poor ol bastard Kenny. He was so prepared to sacrifice everything just so Clem and AJ could be safe. (Wellington end) I was SO thorn

S3? Naw dawg. My eyes were dry like a desert

Gabe's Death REALLY SHOOK me. David's on-screen death on the other hand, even though it WAS sad, it also helped Gabe's character development to a great extent when he had to put him down. For that reason I consider that to be my FAVORITE ending.

I gotta say one thing about Gabe's death-- I thought his voice actor did a really fucking good job in that scene. Usually, the 'death' part of a death scene is difficult to play off... to make it sound like they're actually, you know, dying. And much less when the VA in question is only 15.

Indeed. Gabe's VA must be fairly talented.

  • Yeah, admittedly that's part of why I feel it's probably the most well-done despite not liking that it's a thing.

  • Personally, I would've preferred a Gabe Equivalent of the "Still Not Bitten" situation if Clem and Javi didn't go after him.
