ANF IS season 3. People can deny it, hate it, and cry about it til the walkers come home, but that doesn't change that ANF is the third season.
The grieving process is strong with Season 3/ANF.
It is an unfortunate fact as ANF could have been a very good S3.

As much as I hate calling this game Season 3...
They did call it S3 in the Google Play store and also Steam (until they removed it a day before release). In the Steam files it still says "Season 3" there.

We're still in Denial period I guess, we'll hit acceptance in a few months before s4/dlc releases.
I've only gone through anger, depression and acceptance.

There are too many people complaining about ANF being worse than the other two seasons and not being S3. It was them I was referring to.
Why is that so old? That's back in June. If it season three I'm actually fine with it. I was just wondering why they didn't put it in the title and then remembered other game franchises have not put it in the title because it wasn't a numbered sequel.

Oh cool then. In my opinion S3 was better than 2. The characters I think were much better done this time around then they were in S2 in my opinion.
Telltale said that for all intents and purposes, ANF is season 3.

Season 3 =/= New Character's story.
This game barely has any connection with the previous seasons. If Clementine wasn't in this game, the story would have been the same without her and there was no purpose for her in this story other than marketing.
Telltale even fucked up with making this game for the new fanbase. If Telltale wanted new players in this community, then Clementine shouldn't have been added in the first place cause a lot of people who played this game are old school TWD fans since Season 1. How many new players are even there? Why not suggest them to play the previous seasons? It's NOBODY's fault someone decided to play the lattest installment without having no acknowledge of the whole story.
I refuse to call this "Season 3". I can barely think this is a sequel to a game that won 2012 GOTY.
Honestly, I can't really tell which one's better. Both S2 and S3 have their flaws, but all I know is that S1 is the best one.

Yeah Clem didn't have that big of a role in this story. I like Javier as a character and his story is pretty interesting, but yeah to didn't have to know much about Clem's past to get this story.
