I might seem like an asshole, but Clem dying would be very emotional and I love it when I cry. She could have all the characters in Richmond and she's bit. She says what she will to all the cast, then she dies and the last thing she sees is the whole cast. Then we're in first person and see all the dead cast memebers that Clem cared for. Lee approaches her in heaven and they hug. Clem says "I missed you Lee" Lee says "I missed you too sweatpea." It would be the most emotional thing I've ever seen honestly.
Or an ending where it was revealed the mother was dead the whole time and it was just a long set up for her to get back together with Aunt Robin for the 10th fucking time!
Same here. I will be inconsolable for about a week if she dies. That being said, I think her dying might be the best route to go down. Would… more you rather them give an emotional and satisfying ending to Clementine's story, or a happy ending where we'll never know what happens next? Or they could just cut to black in mid-sentence....or have a holographic child make you choose between green, blue and red.....or have it all end in a church because Clem was dead the whole time.
Is having the choice of Clem and AJs fate going to be the same as all the choices we had in S3 - you know, the ones that made zero difference to anything or anyone because as soon as the characters spoke one line of dialog commenting about the choice you made they then completely ignored it and carried on with the script
I don't care for AJ at all. He's someone else's kid and we didn't have any interaction with him over the course of time like we had with Clem over the course of season 1 so he can die. Given the choice to save him over Clem (if that choice occurs) then I'll throw him to the walkers wrapped in a blanket like a chicken burrito and run Clem's ass outta there
Having said that I still say Clem should have died in S3 - she was there for pure fan service and so many interactions between her and Javi made no sense if you consider they knew each other for a matter of days
Based on this, I think they will at least make her death determinant, so we can have the whole "Alternate Endings" thing like we had in seas… moreon 2. Based on what is said in the video, WE are going to have the choice of what Clem and AJ's fate are. There should be as many options open as possible if this is the last Hurrah for TWD
I personally think it would have been better to kill off Clem in S3. And I'm going to assume she'll die in S4. And if she does I'm probably going to feel very little because for me things were better when I was playing to protect an 8 year old girl who was rather helpless. This is also why (regardless of the fun I did have with the game) I thought playing as her in S2 was a mistake, and I think S2 tried to force her to go from incapable to mega badass too quick)
TTG just kill off everyone in S4 and end the season looking off into the sunset with walker silhouettes everywhere so we all know that you fucked up by the end and no matter what you do you can't save this from dying
Making Clementine the protagonist again isn't going to fix majority of the problems in A New Frontier and unless Telltale address those first and foremost, I don't see this season being any better.
But hey, maybe with this being announced so soon after the third game, it could be Telltale are desperate to fix things and to possibly end on a high note.

Season 1 technically had 2 ending that didn't change much apart from 1 double determinant dialogue option in season 2. The choice to shoot lee or leave him.
What's the point of having options at the end of TFS if they won't impact future games? Everyone should get the same ending. Not even what we got in S1. One straightforward, conclusive ending.

I get you there. Right now, AJ is more of a plot device than an actual character and I hope this changes in their last installment. I'm more into it because this is what's going to make Clementine feel complete. Just like Lee devoted his life to protecting her because there wasn't much else worth living for, she has devoted her life to protect him because of the same reasons. Everyone else she knew well, like more than just a few days, has either died or abandoned her, so she doesn't have much to keep her tied to this world. The real reason she stays is because there is someone out there that she knows still depends on her. And I'm not talking about whether their heart is still beating or not. Someone with a glimmer of hope, that has not been hardened by the world around them and who has not tried to survive by standing on the bodies of the people they've killed. (Sorry for that last sentence. I've been reading to much of the comic books. )
Having said that I still say Clem should have died in S3 - she was there for pure fan service and so many interactions between her and Javi made no sense if you consider they knew each other for a matter of days.
You could say that she is just fan service. But thinking about how long the comic books have been going on (Since 2003) and how the main protagonist of that series is still alive, maybe not with all his pieces, but alive, why should Clementine have to die? The comic book's main protagonist has gone through a lot of shit, too, and there has been many times where he thought he has had nothing to live for. ( Damn it. I think my response is completely irrelevant. My brain is too much into the comics for me to make any goddamn sense in the telltale universe. )
My main point is I still think that there is more room for Clem to be around. There just needs to be actual story to her instead of her just being "Hey I'm here. Let's kick ass and shit.". Getting AJ back will be a step in the right direction. It will give us the opportunity to see her as a caregiver instead of a zombie-killing Badass. Lee was good at balancing the two, now is time for her to really shine.

I believe you insulted me for most likely choosing the option to let the shit stain live? You can either pay with your blood or send me your card details.
I think that the series will end with Arvo tied to a chair. The player then gets a choice on what to do to him. The choices should include:
… more
* Beat him to death with a Crowbar like Kenny did to Carver.
* Bash his balls in with a baseball bat.
* Slowly chop off all his body parts and send them to mike.
* Inject him with rabies.
* Quick and painless bullet to the head.
* Let him go (Fuck whoever chooses this).

Fucking thank you. I hate that Clem cares so much for AJ. I mean I would understand if he were Christa's baby but Clem had only known Rebecca for a few weeks at most and now all of the sudden he's the most important thing in her life and the whole "well she has nothing left but him" argument is really weak in my opinion. Clem has no obligation to take care of AJ and if I were her I would drop him off at another community and never look back. Their relationship is really forced.

Tell me this. What are Clem's main motives to stay alive in a world filled with undead and psychopaths?
Luke tried to give her the motive that family is what keeps them going and that it is something to strive for. And Kenny, who she has looked up to through most of season 2 tried to care for the child as if he were his own. So why would she want to abandon the defenseless child? She has been abandoned by people and look where it has gotten her. EVEN Jane tried to hold onto her family, even when they didn't want to live.
Answer me these, and then I may give slight respect to your opinions.

Edit: Starting to calm down. Trying to re-read your post to see if I missed anything in my Hot-headed outburst.
I do agree that AJ shouldn't be her only motive. There's just really nothing I can think of, besides that point. I just don't think she will be interested in returning to the Garcia's if she didn't have AJ with her.
And don't take my outburst personally, it's just been a while since I let off some steam.

I'm hoping they don't do another season 2 and New Frontier ending really. I am looking more for another highly emotional season 1 with straightforward ending like what Lee got. If they are going to have to kill Clem too then hopefully it will be clear cut and obvious. If she dies by a bullet then show it going through her head with brain matter.
If the walkers get her show the herd ripping her to shreds so no ridiculous theories about how a headless or half a body Clem can still be alive for years to come since this is the final installment. Only way that would make sense to keep her alive beyond the point of season 4 would be to include her in the comic which I'm also ok with because that means her story might not be left untold and continue in maybe a spin off comic series or she meets the main characters of the comic like at the Hilltop.
Because I don't know how asking the minority of fans on here, for writing advice is going to improve anything than actually be self-aware of what makes a good well written character in the first place.
Why not do a damn voting poll of which were your favorites! That will surely make even newer characters likable/relatable.
and what s the problem with that? They want to see which characters left more of an impression on us so that they can make better character arcs in the style of those ones.
I predicts flashbacks from events of the previous seasons we never saw. If this is the end and the conclusion to Clementine's story, then it makes sense for her to be shown reminiscing of the past with characters that shaped her into who she is and really give off the feeling of it being a final season.
Remembering a time with Lee, her parents and other deceased characters would add great emotional depth to her character arc, and contribute to the present in her struggles in getting AJ back, where she may suffer her own internal conflicts in deciding where she belongs.
Given we had the element of flashbacks in Season 3, that's definitely a prediction I could see coming to light and if done right would do our girl justice for the final stretch of her story.
Translation: I WILL SAY ANY WELL WORDED THING RIGHT NOW SO I CAN SEE LUKE ONE LAST TIME!
I was kinda hoping they were gonna do this in ANF, low key. That would be the perfect opportunity to expand on certain characters and show us elements of their interactions with Clementine that we didn't get to see due to plot reasons, such as Diana, Ed, Duck, Chuck, Luke, Alvin, Carlos, Sarah, etc.

A prophet is among us.
A fellow user of our community—of currently unknown identity—foretold that Clementine and Gabriel would kiss for t… morehe first time in the season finale of A New Frontier, "From The Gallows."
We have got the duty to encourage the rest of their vision.
“ If you let Clint live he accompanies you and Clem to McCarroll Ranch to get AJ, saving Amy McCarroll's twin sisters from Joan's henchman that followed you there for one last shoot out before the McCarroll's tearfully give AJ to Clem”
“If you let Joan live then Amy sneaks behind her, killing her with a frying pan”
Spread the word.

I think people are still strung up on Lee's death and seem to be expecting the death of a protagonist every season now. They WONT ever be killing off Clementine, not even in a determinant ending, y'know why? its because she's had too much buildup, gone through too much suffering to be killed off without it feeling like a tryhard replication of Lee's death, and not to mention its a massive crap on all the hard work we put in as Lee and his sacrifice, rendering it meaningless.
And because Robert Kirkman stated that he's waiting until she's done with the games if he should ever introduce her into the comics, she's a part of the universe now, and Kirkman is probably rubbing his hands right now thinking of all the fans he could bring to his comics if he made a cameo appearance of Clementine, so no, she's not going to be killed this final season, if anything, we'll be picking how and where she ends up.
Since I still want A New Frontier to matter and not end up a waste of time, I would tie up loose ends from this season (Joan/Clint, Kate being determinantly missing). Also I would keep Javier alive considering it would ruin the entire purpose of season 3 and it would mean everyone wasted their money. And since it's the final season, let's get some big choices and multiple variations that lead to a great ending for Clementine's story.
You guys have only one shot with this. You know it's the ending and it must be great. Give us something even remotely close to season 1 quality, please.

That would be next-level corn tbh
Season One had one ending, and it was one of the best game endings ever. I'm sure they're capable of doing TFS justice.
It was technically 2 endings with the choice to kill lee or not
Either way, Lee does technically die. What I thought you were on about was another S2 situation.

I can only see #1 and #3 as the most suitable for this series finale.
