Final Season Predictions

Any predictions for the final season in 2018? How is it gonna end? Who might make a return?

I can see Season 4 ending in 3 ways, starting from Most Hopefully to Least Hopefully:

  1. Clementine finds AJ and arrives at either the Hilltop or Oceanside so her story can finally end in the game and start again In the comics.

  2. She finds AJ and, as the player, you must choose to either Return to Richmond or go off on your own again.

  3. Clementine dies from protecting AJ and gives him to the Garcia's.

Since this is the final season, hopefully Telltale can bring characters from both S1 and S2 as a final 'farewell' to the fans. As in bring back Christa and Lily for that nostalgia moment. As for the Garcia's, Telltale pretty much confirmed Javier won't be a main character, or a character at all this season. They said Season 4 will be Clem's story.

What do you think?

  • The 3rd will probably be the right one, i mean it's the last season, it's 100% sure you can at least make her die at the end

Well my hopes of having javier return just went even higher.

  • i think they re Killing off Clem , The determinant Garcias and Conrad .
And the new characters in this season with Javier and AJ will enter the comic storyline.
Why? Cause since ANF has all those scars for Clem she cant enter the comic since then the ´´Choices would not matter´´.
Meaning even to this day the flashbacks continue to make everyone go insane with anger.

Based on this, I think they will at least make her death determinant, so we can have the whole "Alternate Endings" thing like we had in season 2. Based on what is said in the video, WE are going to have the choice of what Clem and AJ's fate are. There should be as many options open as possible if this is the last Hurrah for TWD

  • Is this the final walking dead as in last ever or just the last with clementine as the main character

  • If she does enter the comics it's gonna be the Clem from the canon story. But yeah it's a long shot.

  • Multiple endings. Clem alone, Clem and AJ alone, Clem comes back in Richmond alone, Clem and AJ both come back in Richmond, Clem stays wherever AJ with a new community.

  • Honestly, I just can't see this ending in any way other than Clem dying. I really hope I'm wrong, because if she were to die, it would be my reaction to Lee's death a hundred fold (so what if I'm almost 20 and will probably be 21 by the time Season 4 ends, I'm not ashamed to admit it). I just hope it's an overall improvement compared to ANF (playing as Clem though does give it some major points).

  • it's gonna be the Clem from the canon story.

Its the Alone ending Clementine so they'll most likely use that one.

There's other ways you can close her story without her dying. She can decide to return to Richmond with AJ, stay at the ranch with him, or raise him alone.

Honestly, I really hope they can adapt her in the comics by the end of the season. It's probably the best route to go instead of her dying.

  • I dont see Clementine dying, while Telltale likes killing everyone in their games I somehow believe that Clementine will survive and live happily with Aj, possibly in Richmond? One of the developers said that our choices will affect who will she be, with who and where, meaning we might have a choice where Clem is gonna go, To Javier in Richmond or on the road just travelling.
If telltale does kill her, then I hope it will be because of saving AJ, after all, thats what she was after the last season.

  • I believe it will end with Clem walking through the gates of The Hilltop or Alexandria in order to continue her story in the comics. It's possible it ends after a conversation with Rick, Maggie, or Carl (any of those characters would be great) instead of it ending right after she walks through the gates of a certain community; that is how S2 (determinately) ended, and they shouldn't repeat an ending a second time.

I'd rather they stick with one ending like in S1 rather than multiple like S2.

The problem with adapting her into the comics is the choices we've made as her throughout Season 2 and ANF and the choices we made as Lee that had an impact on Clem in Season 1. I don't see Kirkman being able to avoid that without him being either:

    1. Incredibly vague when it relates to her backstory and character.
    2. Determining a set of choices and character traits as the official canon, which would render practically everyone's Clem that they created over (what will be) 6 years mute.

  • I just want it to end with a very well-written conclusion, like make me feel emotional.

  • I personally don't think Clem should die, but if she were to, it should be a determinant ending

Incredibly vague when it related to her backstory and character.

I was thinking the same. For her backstory she can simply say what she said to Luke in S2 "Other people looked after me if that's what you're saying...what happened to them? Same thing that happens to everyone."

the choices we've made as her throughout Season 2 and ANF and the choices we made as Lee that had an impact on Clem in Season 1.

By the end of NF I'm sure Clementine is still the "badass" she was from the beginning, despite what choices you made as Lee in S1 or any in S2, unless something changes in S4.

Determining a set of choices and character traits as the official canon,

This one might be tough, but if she meets the group from the comics, she'd be weary like any other survivor. But as the story progresses she can open up to them like she did with Javier and the others.

  • I don't know if this might be a risky thing, but if the readers want to know more about her, they can buy the games or look up Her background from the internet.

Of course, she won't suddenly just "appear" in the comics. I'd have a whole issue about her arriving at the Hilltop or Alexandria and meeting people.

I can't see readers of the comics who have never played the game finding that a suitable explanation or introduction for Clem's character.

  • It's just that some might not be willing to play the game because they don't have the time or money, they don't like Telltale's style of video games, or they don't like video games in general. And while they can research her background on the Internet, it doesn't give them that same level of attachment to her character as playing the actual game does.

  • You're right about that. Damn.

Maybe if given time and good writing, they can get attached. Personally, I don't feel attached to any of the comic characters besides Carl and maybe Michonne.

  • I hope the Garcias do show up again, as well as other characters with unknown status like Christas. I don't want more random forgetful characters to be added in the series when we have a bunch of characters we already know just lying around.

If Clementine dies, they better fucking kill her off with dignity. No shock value. Telltale, if you decide to kill her off, you give this girl the death she goddamn deserves.

    A prophet is among us.

A fellow user of our community—of currently unknown identity—foretold that Clementine and Gabriel would kiss for the first time in the season finale of A New Frontier, "From The Gallows."

We have got the duty to encourage the rest of their vision.

“ If you let Clint live he accompanies you and Clem to McCarroll Ranch to get AJ, saving Amy McCarroll's twin sisters from Joan's henchman that followed you there for one last shoot out before the McCarroll's tearfully give AJ to Clem”

“If you let Joan live then Amy sneaks behind her, killing her with a frying pan”

    Spread the word.

Yah. I'm I'll be turning 20 in two months and Just thinking of the moment Clem and AJ reunite brings me to tears.

Thinking about it with this playing doesn't help either.

I hurts too much to think about how Clementine's death would take place.

  • This will never happen if I can control it! However I wouldn't kill her in the game. I'd have her join the comics and then kill her off if then! I believe Clem will be in the comics. Kirkman loves the character. He will make it work.

  • -Clem will die(maybe Determinant)

-Aside from characters like Javi, Gabe/Kate, and AJ, no characters from previous seasons will return(Lilly, Christa, Mike, Arvo)

-There will be little to no connection to the comics

    -Clint/Joan will be seen again

    -I will cry. A lot

  • I.E being eaten alive since that's the most common way to die in the walking dead :3

  • Same here. I will be inconsolable for about a week if she dies. That being said, I think her dying might be the best route to go down. Would you rather them give an emotional and satisfying ending to Clementine's story, or a happy ending where we'll never know what happens next? Or they could just cut to black in mid-sentence....or have a holographic child make you choose between green, blue and red.....or have it all end in a church because Clem was dead the whole time.

  • I'll be 18 when it ends. This game literally changed my life. It inspired me to peruse writing and made me cry countless times over. It'll be the end of an era in more ways than one. The end of my childhood and the end of the game....OK, that sounded really stupid and cheesy but you get the point.

  • I'm gutted that this is the finale. I really hope they put the cherry on top of this one.

  • Kenny/Jane returns if you haven't killed them in s2.

  • Unfortunately I don't see them returning, especially Jane since she's pregnant and killed herself because of it.

Kenny/Jane returns if you haven't killed them in s2.

  • Prediction:

Some characters come back (Christa, for example. Also Tripp/Ava)

AJ and Clementine have strong plot armor (but not 100% immune)

Javier dies (or is determinant) :(

But I would love a secret ending if you made a bunch of convoluted choices throughout all the seasons.

I also personally don't want Javier dead. Pls Telltale.

    • I get the feeling Clementine won't die no matter what. She will be probably be determinant at most. I don't think Telltale would be so predictable considering how much we are already anticipating it. Then again the same could have been said for Kenny and Jane in season 3 so I guess anything is possible.

    • Javier and any other character that survived A New Frontier will either make small cameos or possibly even accompany Clementine on her adventure should Telltale decide to go all out.

    • Clementine will find AJ either at the end of Episode 1 or midway through the season.

    • Some characters from previous seasons will certainly come back for fan service, most likely Christa

  • Let's be fair, minecraft has 10 episodes, GoT has 6 episodes,
Let's make TWD game 8 episodes for this final season #TWD8episodes
Spread the word to telltale, tweet em' with #TWD8episodes
More people tweet = more chance

  • I'd be on board with this if each episode was actually 2 hours like season one and not 1 hour each.
