Who else is glad Season 4 is gonna be the last season of the series?
I'm glad because A New Frontier was a disaster, everything has been getting worse since Season 2 Episode 3 and I don't see a lot of good ideas for the next TWD installments.

well im not glad seeing as the fact that one bad season shouldnt warrant an ending to the entire franchise .
Im just hoping that Telltale closes the holes on the missing characters atleast revealing what happened to them if they dont want them to return.
Besides the only thing i hated about the final episodes of season 2 was the determinant handling the writing was good in my opinion it was just that telltale wasnt even trying to cover up the illusion of choice in walking dead like they did with their other series.
Me
IMO Season 2 was a perfect conclusion of Clem's story and I never knew what more could you do with her character. ANF proved me right.
So I guess I'm happy as long as they provide enough fan-service which I'm usually opposed to but considering how ANF ruined Clem, Kenny and Jane I won't complain if we'll get a flashback to S1 or S2 every 5 minutes
Also, ending TWD will give room for more new IP's and sequels to older games.

I'd rather want this franchise finished due to the lack of writing and reproductivity in every season has been passed since the season 1.
Maybe this forum will finally stop sucking once it's over, so yes
Some endings felt more like cliffhangers though tbh. The ending I got were it's just Clementine and Aj going into a herd of walkers kind of left me wanting to know what happens next. But some of them felt like a good ending especially staying in Wellington.
But it doesn't matter what happens next. The meaning of this ending is that Clementine is capable of surviving on her own and this time it's her who's taking care of someone else.
Couldn't agree more.
I am, not necessarily because I don't like the walking dead, just because it frees up production for more different games
The Final Season is gonna end Clementine's story but we don't know if it's gonna be the last TWD installment. They can make a lot of TWD games with different stories like Michonne.
I'm definitely glad. There is no need to milk Telltale's TWD like Kirkman is doing with the comics or AMC with the show.
Lol if the quality of the game is good the forum will improve as well.
With some of the stuff I've seen in the past, I'd beg to differ. The quality of a forum and the quality of the game the forum is based upon are two different things.
If anything, a fanbase can wreck a game better than the actual developers can sometimes
Yeah, there aren't a lot of good ideas.

We get it, you didn't like a new frontier. How many times are you going to beat a dead horse?
That would be a point in its favor.
Until this forum completely dies, probably months after s4 ep 5 releases.
Also let him vent it out, its actually good on us that Telltale KNOWS most of the ttg's twd fanbase dont like s3 and that hate might make them want to improve s4 since its pretty much their last chance to redeem themselves to us.
I am because all stories need to end eventually and the structure would start to get ridiculous after a while.
Season 8: Clem meets a new group of survivors and either leaves them or watches them all die. Just like the previous 7 seasons.
Sure, they could keep her with the same core set of people, but considering the standards the previous seasons have set up, it'd be pretty hard. Especially with how many determinant deaths there are.
I just want a satisfactory ending to Clem's story. Something like Season 2 where we can have very different endings that will feel like our Clem is different than other people's Clems.
I'm glad it's finally ending, it's time to put an end to this franchise, its not good anymore.
I can dream this forum being already dead.
EDIT: Also, you're being rude right in front of me. You won't get what you want any sooner.
I'm gonna kill it until it's dead.
Also, tell me your good ideas for the future TWD installments.
I think it should've ended sooner.
Five years later The Walking Dead Season 5
Pulling a Metal Gear Solid 5 I see.
The quality of the forum or the quality of some of the more vocal fans?
I agree. It's gotten a lil stale thematically too. I'm not totally against rebooting the series with a new player character. Not how Javier's story played out though. Someone we would have a chance to get attached to and invested in. No more returning characters or comic book characters either.
But he has been repeating himself ever since the season concluded. We get it already.
I would but you're banned.
Theres plenty of good ideas for S4, or at least I have. But it really depends on the devs themselves and their work. If they put all their work into it and stop focusing on games like Minecraft and GOTG too much then it might be a pretty good season.
I really want to see S4, I'm a big fan of TWD games and I'd probably pre-order it again, but yeah, ANF was kinda disappointing.
I'm just a little sad that since this may very well be the last Walking Dead season, it will end not with a bang but a whimper.
I really want to see more passion and heart into the final season, the same kind of passion and heart that drew me into the universe of the Walking Dead back in the year 2013.
I'll still stick around to see how it ends though, for old times sake.
Featuring the 16 month timeskip with Christa as the main character.
I'm kinda mixed on the whole thing. On one hand, I know that all things do eventually have to end and that every story has a conclusion. And I'd prefer to see the series end on a high note rather than them continuing to try and milk the series. But, despite that, I don't think Telltale have fully utilised the setting of a zombie Apocalypse enough. Season 1 offered a wide range of different scenarios and troubles that would be faced in one, such as with the zombies themselves, bandits, cannibals, lack of supplies, conflict within the group, uncertainty of trusting strangers, seeing the extent that some like Crawford went to for survival, being bitten and eventually the stranger and his whole plot, and it really felt like the writers were putting their all into creating this world of chaos. It created a great atmosphere and when shit happened, it hit you. Often quite hard. But the two games that followed didn't have that and instead went more in the direction of one overarching threat, like Carver or the New Frontier that covered much of the episodes, but there was less and less investment in the characters and the simple struggles in such an environment. There were aspects here and there, and still some really good stuff in places, but nothing compared to the first game.
I suppose since season 2, I've been waiting for Telltale to return to that- the way the first game felt. Because that's the game that got me into Telltale and it's the game that actually left an impact on me. And I would've been fucking delighted to have had a few sequels similar to it. But if I were to judge how the series has gone, with each new instalment decreasing in quality and missing much of the elements that made the original so good, season 4 isn't going to be be anything radically different than it's predecessors. And I'd be really disappointed if that's the format it'll end on. Granted, I tend to be a bit cynical, so maybe Telltale will have listened to the feedback and are actually going to return to their roots to give a proper end. I don't know.
Me in a small way l. I glad for one because telltale can explore and make new games. Also sad to.
I thought they were really going to try to do something with this property, expand the world. Sorry to see they have given up on that. But if they want to wrap up Clem's story, then I guess that's okay.
It's just the last for clems story they said they would do more walking dead just not with clem
NOBODY SHOULD BE GLAD ABOUT THAT!!
Werr, some of us ale.
