    I would but you're banned.

  • Not anymore. :D

  • I hate how people want to stop this series after one bad game. I’m fine with a final season but I feel there is a door open for more to redeem from ANF. Im going to compare this to resident evil for example a franchise that had plenty of not so good installments but capcom came back with the masterpiece resident evil biohazard. I’m fine with the series ending but I don’t understand why people get upset with this one game.

  • You want it to be milked like Call of Duty and Assassin's Creed?

NOBODY SHOULD BE GLAD ABOUT THAT!!

  • Well, I never said this is the last TWD installment. I'm glad they'll end Clem's story.

  • You're right. Resident Evil 7 is a masterpiece. It's one of the video games that defied expectations which is what I hope for TWD Season 4 to do.

  • Completely agree with you, I feel there is a lot of untapped potential they have wasted. Such as the dozens of wasted stories due to a four year time skip.

I'm kinda mixed on the whole thing. On one hand, I know that all things do eventually have to end and that every story has a conclusion. And

  • Not necessarily. Those games are purely for money (hence they pump out large quality poor quantities). Telltale could like take 2-3 years needed to make an excellent season to be remembered instead.

  • I glad but I hope one day telltale revisits Clem when she's over 21, It be Interesting seeing a older Clem and they can give her better storylines, I just feel like there's so much left to do with Clem's character IMO

  • That's too impossible because the game can't get passed the comic timeline.

It's only going to be the last part of Clementine's story. Mark my words, five years or so from release, as soon as they think they can dare the stunt, they will announce a new TWDG series.

The entire point of ANF was to see if the fans would allow this, they wouldn't, so now they finalise the entire thing until she's just a memory.

  • Im not glad per se but i think the end was coming

  • Sorry forgot about It.

I'm gonna have to agree with those that have said that they skipped too much time and missed out on a lot of potential.

There are Loads of characters that just went missing that have unrealised potential for great stories. So I'm not happy to see it end. Just makes me sad that so much has gone by without the attention it deserves.

If the rumour I see floating around that it's the end of the Clementine's arc and they'll continue with the universe then I'll be happy enough.

  • I personally treat 400 Days as the end, simply because they swapped the writers after it and it really got worse with that change. I want them to actually create a new character and get more down-to-earth. When I think of The Walking Dead, I think about struggling survivors constantly on the run, not of a machine gun orchestra and power plays in big settlements. And with Season 2, the human groups basically became too op to like.
So, yes please. Maybe Telltale will focus on something else now, like Tales From The Borderlands, or something entirely new.

This is actually part of why I really liked Kate in Part 1.
And to be fair, that was mostly on Kenny, Jane, Carver, and arguably David, but I get your point anyway.

I've grown more than a little weary of how everything has to be a Byron-esque epic, a cheesy action flick, or a competition to be enjoyable. Don't get me wrong--they certainly have their merits in places and while some excitement and some heavy conflict is fine, I prefer that to be pay off from really getting to know and care about most of the characters again.

  • I'm not glad, just sad because of what directions the series has taken, and that it's now come to this.

  • This gets me to wonder if they planned S4 being the Final Season for a while or they just decided to make it after how bad ANF was.

  • Feels more like they were going to do a Clementine DLC, then have decided to make it the final season. Whatever the case didn't they say the season is coming out early next year? They wouldn't put out a sequel so soon unless they have something to work with. The again Batman season 2 came out pretty fast so I could be wrong about all that.

  • I'm actually nervous they're releasing so early because it makes me thing they barely had time to fix their mistakes From ANF.

Hopefully this season won't be like the last.

  • I agree. A New Frontier and Michonne were very forgettable and bad for a large amount of fans and Season 2 has its fair share of negative criticism. It's time to end the series since it seems unlikely they will be able to get back to Season 1 quality level of storytelling again.

  • I'm not glad; just disappointed.

Clementine and the legacy of TWD: S1 deserved so much better. S2 was a good addition (imo) but S3 was a disaster, a blight and I just hope that S4 is better than S2.
