Robert Kirkman's choices?
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone knew whether or not Robert Kirkman played the Walking Dead Games? If so, any idea what choices he made? I was just wondering, since he is the creator of that universe, and the games are supposed to take place in the comic world instead of the TV show world, and it seemed to me the choices he would make in the games would probably be how he would have the characters choose. I hope I'm not confusing anybody.

Yeah most likely he should at lest have played season 1 someone should look into this. I tired before I posted this but with no luck.
If only there was some way to ask him
Now this is a cool thread!
He would have the most violent and merciless choices. The guy is a sadist.
I get the feeling he would say he never played. But I am sure if he did he'd notice that the first game was closest to how his comic book is in terms of art, atmosphere and decision making with other survivors.
In an interview he said he chose to shoot Lee
Thanks.
Really?
That is entirely possible.
I do remember that. THat's what got me wondering what choices he would make throughout the game(s).
Let's be honest tho who didn't
Just read the comic and see the horrible ordeals he puts his beloved characters through
Your a horrible person
Why? Because I didn't tell the little girl to shoot me?
She's gonna have to live knowing Lee is a walker for the rest of her life and that she could have done something but she didn't.
Fair point. But still, I couldn't tell Clem to shoot me. She already saw her parents dead and I couldn't bring myself to tell her that she must kill me. Even if that would put Lee out of his misery.
I didn’t shoot him either mostly because of the same reason Bruzdaa didn’t.
Why waste the bullet and draw walkers? Lee was handcuffed and not going anywhere.
That is optional.
Why let your close ones become one of them? It's worse than death.
Also they were locked in the Jewelery store. Walkers couldn't come in.
There isn't any right or wrong choice over deciding Lee's fate at the end of the season in my opinion to be fair, both decisions were pretty horrible things to do. I did have Clem shoot him though, mainly because I'd think she'd be more at ease knowing he resting in peace than being a Walker. But at the same time I see why some people didn't shoot him.
Why make a child shoot someone they don't have to to survive? Why make a bunch of walkers congregate outside a door that said child is gonna have to exit? I'm pretty sure we've gone over this before.
Like Chuck said:
You're either living or you're not. You ain't little, you ain't a girl, you ain't a boy, you ain't strong or smart. You're ALIVE.
Pretty sure the exit she got the keys for didn't lead her outside in the streets.
I agree. Both choices are pretty bad. We picked what we thought was the lesser evil.
Chuck was right, you are alive or dead. Human or walker. So putting Lee out of his misery doesn't matter cause he's gone as soon as he is dead. Chuck sure as hell wouldn't waste a bullet on a zombie he could walk away from, and Clem can always walk away.
What I mean is that you're using Clementine being a child as an excuse for leaving Lee to die which is a poor reason. This isn't the world she has known before anymore.
Lee is better off dead. Becoming a walker is like letting your enemies win. What's even the point of saving that bullet? It won't affect the game at all.
A lot of the times, it seems like the only choices are wrong choices. Like with the Kill Larry or Save Larry choice in episode 2, if you choose to Save Larry, you end up losing friendship with Kenny. And the dialogue doesn't offer a chance to try and patch things up or explain why you didn't side with him that time.
and Larry still dies!
Why do I get the feeling in that scenario, Kirkman would've chosen to have Lee help Kenny smash Larry's head in?
This. Stopping people from turning honors the natural humanity their body would've lost and prevents the apocalypse from having one more agent.
Because he's a sadist asshole
He's telling a story. Enough with this "He's a sadist" bullshit.
I'm not saying it's a bad thing, no need to get all defensive.
I misinterpreted then. Still not a sadist though.
Yeah, at first I didn't want to have Clem kill Lee, but after a while, I realized becoming a walker was a fate worse than death, so I changed my mind and had Clem save Lee from the horrors of becoming one of them.
To be fair, it makes way more sense that turning affects specifically the body after the soul has left it and destroying the brain spares the person's loved ones from having to see them like that.
LOL so everyone who picked to help Kenny is a "sadist asshole" ?
Not shooting a friend and beign a sadist asshole are two completely different things.
I didn't tell her. I let the timer run out and she chose to do it herself. On my last run anyway.
The weird thing is I don't know what I did to make that happen, as I tend to make the same choices these days.
Whoa.
