Things I Want to See in Season 4
- Clementine needs to be the main focus, no ifs, ands, or buts. I might've said differently had this not been the final season, but due to this being the last, it is vital that her story is fleshed out properly for the last journey with her.
- Going back to Richmond needs to be a choice. Clementine found a home with Javier and Gabe and Kate, and I want it to be an option whether or not we go back, because I know some people wouldn't want Richmond forced on them.
- Lee flashbacks. At least one. I want to see more baby Clem and Lee moments that we missed out on in ANF.
- Clementine needs to not have a romantic interest. I personally wouldn't mind this, but again, this is the final season, and I don't want a boy (or girl) to distract from the main focus: Clementine finding AJ.
- Make our choices really, really matter. I want minor choices to have a big fucking impact for the final season. Make me not finding an item cause someone to die, make a tiny dialogue choice cause big repercussions. (Maybe not specifically what is listed, but make. our. choices. matter.)
- This is more of a sentimental, personal thing I want. But for the final episode, have the credits show screencaps of Clementine's journey from seasons 1-4. I would love to see the journey my girl has taken, and the credits would be perfect for this.
- Finally, more/longer episodes. Make this season fleshed out and go out with a bang, Telltale.
EDIT: I just realized I didn't write this and this needs to be at the top of the list. Do not kill Clementine off for the sake of drama or shock value. She is the heart of the series, and offing her would undoubtedly be a horrible way to end the series. Don't fucking do it, Telltale.

I agree with pretty much everything.
I think they need to give the user a chance to have a happy ending as such to round off the perfect game also I think she needs to find aj eventually and just options where she should end up because one thing I don't want it her or aj to die maybe Christa to come back into it and have a option for her to be apart of the final journey I agree with the flashbacks of lee and I think maybe aj I think the ranch that aj is or was stationed I think should be run by the new frontier and she as to stop them starting up again that would be a good side story but they can't end it on clem or aj dying they have to have a happy ending where they have a chance go back to javi and Kate so if they thought to start it back up again they could and if they could do it quick they could do a side game like they did the 400days to build up the ranch or what ever might come up in the final season
pretty much my list of things i want for the next season except id add returning characters too since there are several unknown characters who dissapeared i mean even the 400 days survivors could still be alive since they were never confirmed dead .
Javier.
I agree with the above.
I want multiple endings. At least 5 like Season 2, if not more. I want TellTale to go crazy and give us a shit load of variety.
I don't know how feasible it is, but I want some endings locked out early. Make use feel like our choices truly matter. Something like, if you take AJ from his foster family when you first find them, you can't get the ending where you live with them as a family.
Or even better, in some games you meet X character and not in others. Then, we eventually put together that he only shows up in games where Lee kills both St. John brothers. I'll admit. Something like that may be expecting a little much.
But TellTale has an opportunity here. One of the great down falls of any game series where choices carry over is that there cannot to be great of an affect. It's not just TellTale. There's just so much you can reasonably put in. That's why Mass Effect took us to a different galaxy instead of staying in the Milky Way. But TellTale doesn't have to worry about that here. They can go crazy and give us huge differences in the endings, and it will actually feel like it means something.
If they don't kill Clementine tho everyone just gonna keep bitching for another season.
What another season? This is going to be the end of Clementine's story.
If I got a nickel for every time a franchise says they are making their final movie/book/video game and then 5-8 years later they make another I would be a billionaire.
Fair point but something that is going down is going to hit the bottom..........eventually.
I really think it's gonna be the final season tho.
or you know?
Actual effort and care? Nobody cares about that in stories, ok...
Upon me finding out ANF had taken the flashback with Sandra and Lee out of Ep5, I think THAT flashback and that one only would be acceptable without being fan-service. Due to it being a insight on a moment that was a genuine event in S1. Subtlety is key sometimes.
Correct. But let's not forget this is the walking dead. Every other "form" of the walking dead franchise insists of the tv show, the comics, the novels, hell even their fucking mobile apps look like their is no sign of stopping at all. In fact, if this truly were to be "the final season" it would be the first "form" of the walking dead to stop. Their is no way telltales gonna NEVER make another walking dead game, you can continue to say "ohhhhh but ANF was trash Teltales TWD is dieing!" All you want but it was and still is telltales best selling series and ANF actually got pretty good reviews and sold very well for a telltale game. I'm 99% sure telltale is gonna make another TWD game it would be completely stupid just from a business standpoint to not continue it. Now I have no idea what the next telltale TWD game would be after season 4, clementine could die and u could play as Aj I have no fucking clue but just trust me when I say season 4 is not telltales last TWD game.
They have got to use* grandson* song for a trailer for s4
They have got to use a grandson song for a trailer for s4
I respect your opinion.
Clem dying would be sad and I really want to cry because I haven't in years.
I agree! Plus treat any determinant characters like saving them is the canonical choice.
I would love 10 episodes for The Final Season tbh.
I wish that next season they could give us the option to switch between Classic Camera Orientation and Third Person during Hubs to allow the player to rotate the Camera around the Character we're playing as, sort of like a 'Life Is Strange' feel.
When i finished the season 3 i really liked to play with Javier but ......... just i want to play both of them and i hope the wait will worth
Third person view is a terrible decision for a point-and-click action/adventure game.
Fixed.
