Ok, this is getting ridiculous, I never hated anyone who has different opinions, I'm respecting everyone's opinions as much as they respect mine and you're one of those people who always complain instead of thinking before saying something. Look what I told @caleb2219 above, he wasn't acting like you at all and I gave him respect.
I get what you're trying to do, you're antagonizing me. I know how kids like you work and I'm not falling for your bullshit again.
No problem, Caleb. Looks like a couple people here are getting a little passive-aggressive here, but not me. I respect any opinion as long as they have very valid reasons for feeling that way.
But I see flaws in video games all the time. I agree with a lot of the flaws in this game but wouldn't that include me seeing the flaws in the others too? lol
You can say it's because i'm younger so different games appeal to me. but i'm in this franchise just like anybody else so we must not be that much different hmph.
and nobody here has game writing knowledge unless they've actually wrote a damn game. otherwise people who replied to this thread would make more fair of a point.
either way I get what you mean, just the whole age thing is pretty ridiculous especially considering we clearly like the same games just different opinions.
It only makes sense that a person of younger age has less experience and less knowledge of game writing, so they can play nearly any game and fail to see what is wrong with it, allowing them to enjoy it.
"Everything that was built up in the first two seasons was torn down by telltale and ANF."
You can't assume that they won't do anything to make the choices matter in season one because we don't have any clue what they are doing. we can wait, you can leave the game because the company isn't demanding you to enjoy every game.
Your response lacks any logical coherence
Its clever that they made a game that wasn't needed? and only exists for the time skip making c… morelem older?
Clem's age is mostly irrelevant. If anything younger Clem is better (just my opinion). It allows for a more interesting dynamic (kid vs adults vs zombies).
No they havent made season 4 yet. Yes it will be about her, that isn't revolutionary. The first two games were about her.
"they're planning something big" boy you're indoctrinated. The point I was making about ANF breaking the progression is that since telltale tossed out any potential throwbacks two the first two seasons, there wont be anything finale about the last season except that it will be ending Clems story. Everything that was built up in the first two seasons was torn down by telltale and ANF.
I can agree with you on that and i'm sure telltale can too. i'm sure they'll learn from their flaws in the final game otherwise the people hating on them wouldn't be here. (meaning they have some remaining hope)
It only makes sense that a person of younger age has less experience and less knowledge of game writing, so they can play nearly any game and fail to see what is wrong with it, allowing them to enjoy it.
I'm sure they will make our choices matter in season 4 but that's just hope. not much I can argue with but I do want to say that I liked Nick and Luke and Mike AND Alvin but I couldn't stand anybody else. Nick annoyed the hell out of me with the constant arguing it just felt annoying. then with Kenny, I liked him so much to an extent that they destroyed his character. he was an asshole who didn't take into consideration that everybody loses shit till the very end of the game (you mentioned that though) anyway I hated how it was just arguing with a lot of people through the group. ARVO was also a piece of shit addition who I couldn't even stand to look at (same with bonnie after, you know)
Javier's voice being badass was a personal reason because of the whole Rick feeling from the show. but his character was extremely fun and great to play as with some really good choices (in my opinion) but in the end it's just all opinions rip
ANF is my favourite too! It's funny because at the time when ep 3 came out I was still so disappointed and angry about all it's faults (that… more have been discussed here enough). But when I was waiting the rest of the season I kept replaying them and somewhere along the way fell in love with the new characters and their relationships, especially Javi and David. And after it was over the good things overshadowed the bad things, I was surprised how it completely turned around for me and became my favourite. No characters from previous seasons have affected me the same way, I got really attached to them.
People bashing other people for their different opinions is ridiculous btw.
A bold one to say the least. At least there are people that did like this season, I too enjoyed it but it definitely has its obvious flaws. … moreProb not gonna state them since a million more comments on this thread will tell you why your opinion is wrong but I'm just going to say here is that if you truly loved this season then continue to praise it, don't let others tell you what you should like or don't like.
(man i think i just said that because im still in a state of euphoria or some shit...)

Bruh, you're a kid. lol
Even though I wasn't a fan of season 3, I respect your opinion and I think I understand what you are saying. There was indeed a lot of darkness in a lot of the characters in season 1 and 2, especially in season 1. I thought they toned down the darkness and grittyness in most of the main characters in season 3 and there was also a big increase in romantic comedy elements. You are pretty young and I guess you would have been even younger when you played season 1 but I think a few other older players would have felt a similar way.
Again you lack understanding. It isn't that we dont know what telltale could do, its that we know exactly what telltale cant do. The reason that they cant bring something back from the first two seasons is because there is nothing left from the first two seasons in ANF, aside from Clem's appearance and slight mention of AJ. And AJ himself is only a minor cog in Clem's story. All the characters from the first two seasons are either dead or missing (which means the likelihood of someone coming back is slim, because no one returned to the story for season 3). Telltale's best hope would have been to keep Kenny and Jane alive, and use wellington as a plot device because all of these things were well established parts of the walking dead storyline (not so much for wellington). So, I'm not assuming that telltale wont do anything great, I'm just stating the fact that they have bread crumbs to go off of to create season 4 unless they use elements of ANF (which was a shit show of a season mind you). It would not be the logical choice, to use ANF, for the basis of Season 4's story, especially since it wasn't "Clementines's story" it was Javi's.

Fine. It is ironic though that you created this thread with the distinct purpose of stating that ANF was your favorite and because you wanted to understand why ANF was a failure, but yet you wish to ignore a logical and detailed answer to your question. If you dont wish to continue listening to facts and wish to cover your eyes to truth, then by all means do so, but then dont respond to my posts if you dont want me to give a truthful response.

Sometimes it just comes off as "I'm older hence superior" which isn't the right approach imo

Javier and David reminded me a lot of Shane and Rick. hah.
I will x:

This guy was so good in Supernatural.
