  • I'm not saying it's hard, I'm saying what's the point in writing it if I'm not going to read it

Coherently writing down thoughts is not as impossible as you may think.

  • You said you don't see why people hate it apart from episode lengths. Why would you even bother responding with that if you're just going to reply to when someone list legitimate gripes with what you, no doubt, believe is a witty response? It just makes you look ignorant.

  • Season 2 started off ok but then badly drifted off from Episode 3 onwards, storywise especially. It lacked a lot of what S1 had, basically there was less of everything such as the episodes were half an hour or more shorter than S1's, gameplay was less, less hubs, only a few times you could talk to characters but there wasn't a single point in the game where you could ask them optional things to learn about them like you did in S1. By that i mean without the timer going down to choose dialogue if that makes sense?

I enjoyed it enough but after Season 2 i honestly found most of Telltale's games to be very weak. Just how it is

I mean I feel like it's just the feeling of wanting to know what's gonna happen next and not wanting be left out if it's good. Cause to me I

  • Random question to all who reads this. Does anyone find it sad or annoying whenever Clem in Season 2 or Javier in S3 would look at something in the surrounding area and often say nothing about it and just pull stupid faces? Do you get what i mean? It was just so boring and annoying and lazy on Telltale's part! Yet you had Lee in Season 1 who would say awesome shit like "i'd fill one of those teacups with some bourbon if i could" or "hmm pointy" lol. Its stuff like this that made S1 superior over the other games for me.

  • Haha maybe some will but I won't be one of those people. I'm done with Telltale's games. Still enjoy posting on here from time to time but that's it. I won't be wasting my money on 1 hour long episodes that feel rushed and lack quality and missing so many great things that Season 1 used to have.

It's basically that most of the people hating on ANF will be back once the next game comes out. Sure, one bad instalment can ruin the whole

  • Yep, I might make notepad full of reasons why ANF sucks so I don't have to write over and over again.

Huh, nice catch. What is the point of looking at stuff if the protagonists don't say shit? That is why Lee is still the best Walking Dead protagonist.

  • Yeah, that did kinda bug me a bit. A facial expression can be a powerful depending on the context, but the limited hub areas didn't really help make that work.

At least Lee generally gave you his thought at the moment, even if the dialogue wasn't always interesting or even smart.

    "hmm pointy"

    Case in point.

I was disappointed in A New Frontier and can't really understand why long time fans would like it either but I try to be open minded towards those who do enjoy it.

I just believe that a lot of arguments over people admitting they like ANF like the one that started here could be avoided if we just accept that it is possible for long time fans to like A New Frontier despite it's flaws and not everyone has to hate it. That's probably not going to happen and I will most likely get hate for saying this but oh well.

As i told Melton, im not trying to change his/her mind. I'm more disappoined a fellow fan likes it though to be honest but Melton is entitled to it. I just can't understand why after playing Season 1 though

Exactly! It's fucking ridiculous how some here flip the fuck out just because everyone doesn't agree with them. I don't know how these people can deal with things in real life. Must be painful.

  • But you know then again i may not. Everyone i like from the series is dead, Lee, Kenny, Omid to name a few, Clem isn't the same person that my Lee wanted her to be. I just don't think I'm that interested anymore thanks to the way Telltale have handled things
