  • I hope that she lives...I hope it is one of many endings....but as for a cure to the plague....if you think this has a happy ending...you have not been paying attention.

I have played every season and every alternative endings....and I can say it...what they are thinking...and that is They want to bring back

I love this game series. And I feel like some people are being a little unfair with their expectations and criticisms. Of course there were things I did not like. But, overall, I've been very pleased with the journey this series has taken.

    Clem!

  • S1 is still by far the best, have you played it? Everybody felt human there

I don’t see why there is so much hate on season 3. Personally my favorite season, it’s the only season where I felt human and I wasn’t surro

  • Is this some kind of sick joke?!

  • Lee wasn't a wisecracking wannabe Negan, so he didn't connect with the majority of this teenage audience the way cantspeakspanish Xavier did.

  • Well Lee was always planned to die from day one and his purpose was to develop Clementine's character for the future which he did successfully until A new frontier happened. Clementine and AJ is more of a sibling dynamic of brother/sister where Clem is now acting as the older sister to the current baby AJ. Lee&Clementine was a very different situation from Clementine&AJ.

  • I kind of agree. The gameplay in season 3 is much better than season 2, at least on consoles, as well as the characters cos I liked nearly all of them. The only thing I wish that would have been different was Tripp and Ava’s episode 5 deaths. I wish they would have survived until the end, at least be turned into a Conrad 2.0 and have another determinant episode 5 death where they could be saved.

  • Actually, they started to plan Lee’s death once episode 3 came out. They didn’t have any intention of killing him until that episode aired.

  • Even if that's the case of them starting in EP3 the purpose made sense for the future unlike Clementine which would be absolute disaster for telltale

  • In which stage do you think Season 4 Episode 1 is at this time? (In terms of development)

  • Probably Revision #12.

  • I’d say they’ve got a good chunk of the kind of design features they wanted to implement, as well as the graphics that they want to use so I’d say that they are currently working on episode 1’s narrative as well as the voice acting, and maybe a bit more of the episode 1 map

  • I'm referring to the fact that stories often go through rewrites and revisions during production until the final draft is completed on the road to settling on a deadline to meet.

Also, the fact that Season 2 and A New Frontier both clearly went under rewrites while they were still going on that resulted in the story changing focus and direction in increasingly obvious/hapless ways.

    What?

  • They're probably modeling the villain and few NPCs that'll be lucky if they are recycled into notable appearance when the game is released

  • That's because in season one people were crybabies because they were shocked and surprised by what life has become. Then in season two people began getting used to the violent world they now lived in but sometimes took it too far because they still weren't completely used to it and were probs still getting over the loss. In season 3 people are now at peace with what happened and have accepted that this is life. This is why you feel more human and felt like you were surrounded by decent people.
But I must disagree with what you said, the writing was terrible and cringe and they basically forced romances onto other characters and you, and the game punished you if you didn't agree. (I know people have said this a lot:) But the episodes were short and the characters were dicks you couldn't really learn to like. I know a lot of people dislike Gabe and I really tried my best to see the cute and fun times Javi was around him. But in the end, he would ruin it all with his dumb tantrums. And all the character in Richmond will go against you even if you make great points it's fucking ridiculous.

  • yes but Lee was a great mentor and unlike Javi in season 3 Lee was surrounded by great characters to help in the game. And Javi was kind of awkward around clementine that just kinda ruined the cute moments they had.

  • In season 3 clem says something like. "Whenever I look at AJ I can hear Lee talking to me, helping me, guiding me." It's really cute and I think every season clem is supposed to have someone who replaces Lee. In season 2 it was Kenny, in season 3 it was Javi and in Season 4 it's probably going to be AJ.

  • Thank you for the laugh. Uncle Javi was awkward around a teenage girl, dear god who was this game made for.

  • And Javi was kind of awkward around clementine

The only time he was awkward around her was when she was having period cramps. It probably made him uncomfortable.

    That's ...good. Being good...is good.
