I hope in this final season...

...so, this is just what I hope for this final season :

  • A male teen characteristic like Nathan Drake or Sam from Uncharted
  • Clem will have a 'sidekick'
  • Some kind of bandit that kidnap children for their army (like a R.U.F. from Blood Diamond movie)
  • A.J. and Clementine alive but her 'sidekick' sacrifice his/her life for Clem and AJ

What are you guys hope for this The Walking Dead Final Season 4?

Comments

  • I hope for Clem to have a best friend like how Lee had Kenny

  • I hope for Telltale to do something original, not repeat any ideas from previous seasons, like Clementine's friend similiar to what Lee and Kenny had. We had that already, why go through something like that again?

  • I hope for growth. I wouldn't mind Telltale repeating what they did in seasons 1 and 2, where it felt like the main characters had grown and were different/stronger people by the end because of what's happened. It was definitely missed in the previous game.

  • Because a new frontier had one where everyone hated each other and season 2 had one where everyone forces a child to do something for their own benefit? It’ll be good having best friend relationships again because Kenny and lee’s was often strained and it wouldn’t even be that repetitive at all because we’ve only seen it once, but you know what we have seen multiple times? Antagonistic human groups, people making the protagonist do everything for them, a fight between two characters in the main group (Lee and Kenny/Ben, Jane and Kenny/Mike, David and Javier), constant arguments within our main group. So I doubt a best friend relationship for Clementine would even be that much repeated considering all of these other elements, and besides the Sarah and Clementine thing doesn’t count because she was never there for support, only to whine and to get clementine into trouble whereas Kenny was actually some kind of help to Lee depending on your relationship with him

I hope they bring back the little details that made this game so re-playable for me. Even now I still found new dialogues.

    • Characters remembering what you said and calling you out if you act or answer inconsistently.
    • Being able to shape the character relationships, meaning them not suddenly acting nicely if you you were a jerk to them or pretending they trust your judgement even when you never sided with them.
    • Make choices less binary.
    • More hubs to explore and have real CONVERSATIONS with characters.

besides the Sarah and Clementine thing doesn’t count because she was never there for support, only to whine and to get clementine into trouble

You must not count things like Sarah choosing to help Clementine and even cover/lie for her despite the consequences, not to mention determinantly trying to cheer her up(one of the few times anyone comments on Clementine's hints of depression) and standing up to Carver when he slaps her. I'm not gonna mention the pee thing, though.
Also, funny how whining and crying seems to be a trait people label Sarah with when her default mode of sadness is being unusually quiet and increasingly isolating herself.
And when did she get Clementine into trouble?

  • Technically it was reggie she got into trouble but it wouldn’t have happened if she never would have gotten Clementine involved. She could also kind of directly get Clementine in trouble with Carlos over the picture thing, which obviously caused Carver to know about the group and how to find them.

Reggie was going to die no matter what, Carver came in the room to find an excuse to kill him and prove a point to Clementine. Plus, Sarah didn't function enough to do work at the time because of what Carver forced her father to do to his daughter for daring to speaking out of line.

I can't really agree with whether or not Sarah should be held responsible for Carver finding the group, but I do feel that Carlos is just to blame for leaving his daughter with a younger child he barely knows alone in the cabin for Carver to find. Considering how quickly Carver found them, it's also possible that the group would still have been found whether or not Sarah inadvertently left evidence behind.

  • All i wanted see is lesbian romance with clementine
I mean is ask to much?!?

Gotten her involved how? Sarah just wasn't saying anything at that point.

She could also kind of directly get Clementine in trouble with Carlos over the picture thing,

Even though Sarah takes/accepts the blame for it anyway? And it's not like it actually affected anything, for better or worse.

which obviously caused Carver to know about the group and how to find them.

Even though he not only had searched much of it while chatting with Clementine and saw both the dozens of dirty dishes and one of Carlos's shirts lying around, but also came straight to the Cabin alone(while everyone else was conveniently out, I might add)?

That’s the joy in choices, not everybody gets the same dialogue options as you in their games ? for me, Carlos had my ass because of sarah and Sarah not doing anything is exactly how she got Clementine involved. She could have easily did her job but instead decided to whine over getting slapped, which lead to Clementine either helping her (and getting reggie killed) or leaving her (also getting reggie killed) so either way, Sarah caused his death.

Furthermore those shirts, dishes and all that could have been there for a while, not to mention it could have also been a big coincidence, but carver discovering the picture of Sarah is a huge lead, as he knows the picture was taken recently given sarah’s current age, which was his solid confirmation that the survivors were there and that Clementine was lying to him.

To expand upon my point that Sarah wasn’t a true friend to clem, she allowed her selfishness to get Clementine “her best friend”boxed in a trailer by walkers, not to mention somebody who tried to look out for her since presumably the apocalypse had started, showing her selfishness and disregard to anybody aside from her or Carlos. She knew that her staying in that trailer and not doing anything while the undead were about to kill her friends wasn’t a safe thing to do but she did it anyway, not to mention the fact that she is 15 years old and Clementine is still acting like a bigger grown up than she is.

How about that time where she nearly caused carver to “discipline” Clementine by talking out of turn through his speech which she should have known would have gotten the two of them in trouble, with carver threatening to have Clementine attacked if she also spoke out of turn. Let’s face it, Sarah is an awful and selfish friend

  • I hope we get some returning characters, mostly want Arvo, Mike, and Bonnie to come back.

  • Huh. You sound like one of those insistent assholes who stretch to incriminate/defend Kenny.

Even though Clementine could've [hypothetically] taken the third options of showing Sarah what to do before going back to her work and/or calling Reggie?
Even though Reggie was put in charge of making sure they were doing their work?
Even though Carver could've just not shove Reggie off the roof over some berries?
Even though any of the four characters involved could've just used basic common sense and/or be reasonable at literally any point?

Furthermore those shirts, dishes and all that could have been there for a while, not to mention it could have also been a big coincidence,

    Yeah, a big coincidence.

she allowed her selfishness to get Clementine “her best friend”boxed in a trailer by walkers, not to mention somebody who tried to look out for her since presumably the apocalypse had started, showing her selfishness and disregard to anybody aside from her or Carlos.

So kinda like how Kenny went into that [random] tent, right? You know, except minus the screaming, death glares, and harsh blaming of others for trying to help him.

She knew that her staying in that trailer and not doing anything while the undead were about to kill her friends wasn’t a safe thing to do but she did it anyway

Did she though? And I'm not just saying that because of the obvious trauma and PTSD: after Clementine gets her on the roof, she seems noticeable agitated while glancing around as if she didn't realize where she actually was.

not to mention the fact that she is 15 years old and Clementine is still acting like a bigger grown up than she is.

    Decidedly different situations/upbringings/perspectives, dude.

How about that time where she nearly caused carver to “discipline” Clementine by talking out of turn through his speech which she should have known would have gotten the two of them in trouble, with carver threatening to have Clementine attacked if she also spoke out of turn.

So, it's her fault that Carver got his feelings because she wasn't listening to his boring(and awkwardly clippy) morning report and if Clementine chose to say something? Okay then.

I'm saying her talking when she did was smart or even right in that moment, but you're really exascerbating something out of practically nothing. Which is still technically a 0, btw.
