I’m kinda digging the whole “the entire cast is clementine’s age” it’ll be easier to relate to that way I think and could possibly lead to some hilarious dialogue, especially with that dog.
So, with the 4 characters they just introduced, they better get enough screentime and character development. If they die, I don't want to think "oh, that's too bad" I WANT TO FEEL IT. Mariana in ANF was shocking, but I didn't really feel angry or super sad about it.
If someone dies we'd better get a chance to mourn, or at least the characters should. Ava was not treated right.
If these characters live, we'd better have a good understanding of them, who they are, or what will happen to them. Conrad wasn't treated right in this respect. He was just there.

I know it's funny to shit all over Telltale right now but the premise seems really cool. We see how different kids have adapted or not adapted to the apocalypse, and it will make the interactions with hostile adult groups that much more harrowing. The cast seems intriguing even though we have only seen screenshots. I would rather see a cast of unique teenagers as opposed to a bunch of Tripp's and Conrad's and Francine's. Adults who lost everything is overdone, let's see kids who have lost everything like Clem has.

I bet you anything he will seem like the least trustworthy but actually turns out to be the one you want on your side.
