  • There's more chance of this game being good which isn't that high lol

  • come on the reason i created thiis thread was to try and convince telltale they should bring kenny back for a ending cameo

Honestly I think it would be better to have nicely placed flashbacks depending on our season 2 endings. Maybe have the flashbacks relate to a theme that will be present in the episode so they won’t feel completely like fan service.

  • I'd be really surprised if they devote time, development resources, and money getting voice actor back in for what will undoubtedly be a small segment that most players won't even see since for most players he is dead. While it's possible that he is still alive somewhere based on season 2 choices, I think relatively few people made those choices and he is dead for the majority of us.

  • Never forget, cardboard Kenny!

  • I do have a Wellington playthrough, so it would be nice to see Kenny one more time at the end of the game.
When the dust settles at the end of TFS, Kenny arrives at Richmond or whatever community you choose and you let him in (let's be honest, there should be no choice here, if you got the wellington ending, then you like Kenny, simple as that).
First, Clem and Kenny have a reunion, then AJ comes out of the house wearing Kenny's hat. Kenny breaks down when he sees AJ and they all hug, as Clem says, "AJ, this is Kenny" and she starts telling the story of how Kenny and the Cabin group protected AJ.
Her voice begins to fade along with the screen before the final THE END shows on the screen.
This is how the series should end for those that chose Wellington IMO.

Let's be real this time, as a huge fan of Kenny, it's time to move on. A New Frontier fucked it up, they killed Kenny and Jane in cold blood and we can't do anything about it, we can't change the past. There is no point making more flashbacks with him because they add nothing but fan service. I loved the flashback from ANF Episode 4 but it didn't add anything to the story. It was just Telltale's excuse to make us forgive them for the terrible conclusions they have chosen.

Maybe I would like one at the end of The Final Season but question is, what do you want from him exactly? Hear his voice again or what? We're playing a zombie game, not a fantasy one.

  • How about NO

  • I love Kenny but there is no chance he's coming back.

  • ok i get it but i wish there was a way to confirm hes still alive during s4 if you chose Wellington path

  • From the treatment given to both Kenny and Jane in ANF, I highly doubt that Telltale will bring any of the previous seasons. it's kind, the 42 Clementines from the ANF end, too rough to be credible.

  • How about YES

  • Kenny’s story is complete. There’s no need for him to come back. Even if you got the Wellington ending in S2, he should stay gone. That ending was a great way to end his character. He found a safe place for Clem and AJ to live in. That’s all that mattered to him at the time.

I feel like the only way to bring him back is to please the Kenny fans. Yet most Kenny fans stayed with him after S2 and we all know what happened next.

  • If they bring him back for TFS as closure for those who took the Wellington ending in Season 2, it would have to be a very minor role since he's dead for most people and can't be involved in the main plot of TFS at all. IF they bring him back for that tiny roll for closure, I hope it's just to have him die on screen, maybe even killed by Clem's group, or even Clem herself. Clem's group gets into a fight with another group and after a few deaths the other group retreats. After the dust settles, Clem goes out to check bodies and make sure they don't get back up and one of them is Kenny.

  • Huh. Deja vu.

  • lol I see I had already replied to this. I thought it seemed familiar. Ah well.

  • they should consider a ending cameo with him if you stayed cause hes of the top 5 main characters in the series or at least give us the option to say hes alive like if lilly/christa returns and ask what happened to him we could hopefully say what we think like hes alive and out there somewhere , we dont know , probably dead or silence.

  • A lot of guys arguing should kenny be bring up as cameo or not and I'm just sitting there waiting for Lily or Lee to shine... One last time! :D

  • i hope kenny returns as a cameo cause hes one of the most important characters in the series and i cant see his arc ending with him walking off into the sunset to just be missing , in my playthrough i know hes still alive as with no clem , he will be driving not her so no crash so my kenny will still be alive during the final season , question is , will telltale allow my clem to reunite with her best possible father figure also kenny needs to see aj , as hes the one who named him (dont forget that!!).

  • i stayed with Kenny throughout all the s1/s2 ( and don't register the car scene because ANF is classed worse than fan fiction xD) so hopefully the new folks at Telltale won't forget that not everyone wants to see teenagers and that some fans want to see the outcomes of scenarios ,Kenny holds the game together

i hope kenny returns as a cameo cause hes one of the most important characters in the series and i cant see his arc ending with him walking

  • It wasn't as fancy as Lee's sacrifice, so forget about that action winning the sacrifice measuring contest.

If Telltale doesn't forget the only reason why Kenny was killed in ANF was so that there would be a reason why Clementine was on her own in the first place, then there's a possibility he could show up. He probably won't have the same 2nd god father role he had in the flashback, but he could still somehow be important.

  • Why the hell do I keep ending up here?

The people hoping for Kenny to come back if you got the Wellington ending are even more persistent than the people hoping for Lee to come back if you cut his arm off and left him instead of shooting him.

Well at the very least I admire your dedication!

  • Please for Kenny sake let him just stay dead or go off on his own in S2's ending. There's no reason in dragging a old, emotionally damaged, unhinged and battered man back just to celebrate his mere presence.

Plus, I wouldn't want Kenny having to have his final sendoff in a teenage drama finale season.

  • but they cant leave him a bittersweet or tragic ending , after all hes been through he deserves a happy ending and the wellington ending is good for kenny fans as if you were loyal to him your doing what he wants so its not unfair for the people who stayed with him , he needs a cameo appearance to at least confirm hes still around

  • In my mind the real Lee, Clem, and Kenny all died in season one because that's what I felt when it ended. I never thought Clem could survive alone, and was counting on Kenny once it became obvious Lee was dying, but they really screwed up Kenny's sacrifice. They should have written his sacrifice for Clem since he talked about doing everything he could to help save her, and was the last person left who wasn't crippled or dying.

  • Well I guess this doesn't matter now, much like his hat :(

  • She would have made a better villian and more sense than the stranger

Lilly even more so considering they apparently got the news early enough that they were actually planning to bring her back in No Time Left.

  • you kenny.fans are dying out. its about time

  • Gonna keep it real wit u man. All determinate characters die excluding [name I forgot] who doesn't do anything.

Kenny could still be alive but it's not likely that well see him return to Clementine. That'd be hell of a coincidence.

And in all likelihood, Telltale be like: yo he dead man like wolves n shit dog.

  • Actually, from the sound of it, she was supposed to be the calvary.

She would have made a better villian and more sense than the stranger

  • Doing this separate return just for one of the 4 endings would be pointless. Sorry but Kenny's story is over.

  • I heard she was supposed to be the villian but either way she should have come back

  • I don't know where you heard that, but okay.

  • I am very happy Kenny is not returning for his sake plus I can't see Kenny fitting into the final season.

  • if you want the final season to suck, sure, let's bring kenny back

  • nah bra he makes it better

  • Kenny's facial hair makes him (mostly) immortal:

Credit goes to YouTube channel Bonecage (not mine).

  • all i have to say is i know kenny wont return but i know hes still alive in my playthrough when i left him alive at the rest stop cause he wouldnt off commited suicide cause thats not who he is cause no matter what you say or do he snaps out of it hes like telltales version of morgan he'll survive on his own and yeah he may go crazy and go through a "clear" faze but he would eventually snap out of it and i know hes out there in my alone ending still alive with his hat still on his head with his own morgan stick.
