Luckily that might be getting a proper reveal soon-ish. Or at least I'd assume so, seeing as rumours popped up recently that Microsoft may have gotten the marketing rights to Borderlands 3, along with a couple of other games like Cyberpunk 2077. I'd guess it's still a 2019 game at the earliest though, which I guess if there is a Tales S2, the earliest we'd see it would probably be in 2020-2021.
Oh man I really hope not. At best all we'd get is cameos from Sasha and Vaughn since Rhys and Fiona are off on their luxury cruise around the universe. DON'T DO THIS TO US TELLTALE!

I don't know, something about these two made me ship them since seeing the first teaser where they didn't even utter a single line! XD

I could see Gearbox do something with them in Borderlands 3, though I would still prefer something like, I dunno, maybe while Rhys and Fiona remain absent, Vaughn, Sasha, Loaderbot and Gortys make an appearance. Along with them making references to the missing pair, maybe have a chain of sidequests tied to them which end with a hint towards a season 2 of Tales.
I guess we won't have to wait that long to see what Gearbox does, and hopefully that means it's Telltale's turn next.
Still, I've found that over the years I'm patient enough to wait like a decade or more for certain games. So if there still isn't a Tales S2 by 2025, that's when I'd probably be seriously concerned about its fate.

Definitely! I've always shipped Batcat, and taking into account that in the Telltale series they share their VAs with Rhys and Fiona only helped. Now if only in a season 3 they were to get married like they're going to in the comics. :^)

Why is it that I picture Rhys's reaction to Fiona in a Catwoman costume, complete with the whip, being something like:
A: He just stares at her with bulging eyes
B: He starts stuttering and can't even say a simple word
C: He gets a nosebleed
D : He passes out

I did the same this year already, and now I'm doing another playthrough, since I ended up double dipping on the game once I saw the physical PS4 version on sale. Still really love the game And of course I gave my save files the same names as I did on the PC version
