If Lilly returns in the final season, would you forgive her...normally it’s been a long while since we saw Lily... most people probably change their mind about her me (Personaly) she still can’t get away with murder after what she did too Carly/Doug that was way out of line and not too mention stealing the RV if you decide too bring her with you.
Would you agree or not?

Definitely! She made a mistake like the rest of them, forgive and forget.
Probably wil, yeah.
I'm generally an understanding/forgiving type and she had good intentions, even if her psyche was not in the best shape to be making decisions on that type of thing, let alone the one she ended up doing in the moment.
Yess
Of course! (side note: this does not mean I would throw her targets under the bus)
Yes!
No I'm gonna kill her like I wanted to do in season 1.
Forgive her? Eh. She did nothing to Clementine and everyone else involved in that scene is dead. I wouldn't trust her, though.
Good question! At the time in season 1 when she did what she did, there was NO way I thought I would ever forgive her and I left her without hesitating. But now I really miss her honestly, yes I would forgive her. I think Clementine and Lilly would have a great relationship if they met each other, at least if the player chooses to. Lilly had nothing against Clementine, only Lee determinantly, so I don't see why Lilly wouldn't be glad to see Clem.
She killed Clem's friend. Clem will remember how erratic and dangerous Lily was, especially after Larry died.
Most natural approach, yes.
New thread about how scary Lily would look in season 4? Seriously tho, her eyes are givin me nightmares. I don't think AJ approves. They need to do a full rework of her facial model.
eh, I'm an understanding person, at least in telltale games, but in real life... nah.
Well, I already let her back on the RV and told her I'd go with her, so you be the judge of that.
Exactly. Clem will remember a Lilly driven into paranoia exclusively after her father's death. She will also remember the three months of Lilly before her father's death, in which she was as stable as anyone else in the group (not to mention she was their leader for that time period, a quite capable one at that). Clem will also consider that there's been 8 years since Lilly's father died, and that she's probably done grieveing now.
Of course, there's the whole "justice for Carley/Doug" deal. But Clem ragingly murdering someone in cold blood 8 years after the fact and after experiencing so much other bullshit would feel rather odd, to say the least.
That reminds me of something...
In case anyone who doesn't know me, the answer is a simple: HELL YEAH.
Sure, I'm upset at her killing Carley, but I respected her. Despite her being a bit pushy and commanding, Lily had dedication to survival and to the group.
I still DO respect her, even after all these years, I still hold with a vice like grip Lily will return. Of course, I want her to remain traumatized by her actions, and need a familiar face (Clementine) to bring back her soul and maybe some new made friends to assist as well.
I want Lily to return so so bad. She is still a decent character, despite some rough edges, but Lily is a compassionate individual, she's just guarded. And hopefully, in this season, she can become a badass against walkers and raiders, once her spirit is returned. Hey, one can hope.
A confession from the heart:
That’s a fair point ,however she did traumatized clemintine by shooting Carley/ Doug...sure Clementine still felt sorry for her because she was still grieving after Larry died...I’m like 50/50 (Personally).
I'd say she has to work for her forgiveness, like everyone else who does something wrong. Actions speak louder than words, and I'm not usually a person to forgive and forget. I'll give her a fair chance to make up for her wrongdoings and prove herself, especially now since she's had plenty of time to think about what she did and recover from her father's death. I certainly wouldn't kill her on sight (I reserve that for Mike, Bonnie, and Arvo), but I also wouldn't be the nicest person to her, considering the last time Clem saw her wasn't under the best of circumstances.
If Lilly had returned in season 2, my answer would of most likely been no. But, at this point I would forgive her for what happened. So much time has past, and everyone involved is gone. However, I'd be cautious around her at first. Feel out the situation to gauge what type of person she is now before running up to give her a hug.
I understand what you're saying. But also, Lee (aka you or me) can alleviate the trauma through dialogue, how you wish to handle it.
And I've always felt sorry for her, but I still believe Lily can be saved. I don't know how, but can. Call it faith.
Forgive her for what?????? Cause she killed Carly? Fuck Carly. Lily never did anything wrong
I will tell her I forgive her, since carley really wasn't a character but a plot device, and you can't legally murder a plot device.
Depends. I can forgive but not forget. She killed Carley so who is to say she won't fuck you over again? Dunno, I'd be skeptical.
I don't think it's Clem's place to forgive her or not and Clem's not so innocent herself she shoot that guy (Eil i think his name was) but It was accident I guess but Kenny can kill Jean and you can forgive him. TBH I don't think it really matters a lot of people in the walking dead have done a lot of things they not proud off, it's a shit world they live in so it's not judge.
I would definitely be on my guard at first. We know how easy it is for people to change, given the circumstances. But, if the situation allows, I want to sit down and have a talk with her. Just imagining all the things that they could say to each other about where things have come since then brings back so much-- ... It's pretty overwhelming.
That's exactly how I feel about it too.
After having witnessed Kenny and Jane's actions in Season 2, I've found myself appreciating Lilly more and more in Season 1. I've forgiven her a long time ago, and I've found myself relating to her more than I thought I would.
I'm just dreading the chances of her character being derailed into a one-dimensional villain, should Lilly be the one to return for The Final Season. It would be an insult to her fans.
Oh, so you did see this. Good.
Eeeh...
I don't know why, but the "I guess" got a chuckle.
Ope! You almost made that mistake too, eh?
Yeah, that is definitely an extra well for consideration.
I know right, when it comes to The Walking Dead chicks Carley would be number 1 and Lilly would be number 2.
If Lilly gets anyone I actually like killed, she's getting shot in cold blood.
Why do I have an odd feeling that Lilly is going to kill Clem, then the protagonist is going to change to AJ where you can choose to kill Lilly?
If that were the case I wouldnt even hesitate to kill her?
Can’t say for sure, while I did let her come with us after shooting Carley I’m still sceptical of her morals. I’ll see what she’s like in S4, it’s been nearly a decade. She’s likely changed, for the better or the worse.
May I ask what it is that you have been reminded of, good sir?
Oh yeah, I forgot I said that.
Basically, it was a piece of hypothetical concept art for Arvo I thought up and intended to do before ANF even had a release date.
I know right, if that worst-case scenario happens again .
I feel like Lilly's final actions was not really directed towards Clementine and it would not be Clem's place to forgive her or not. If anything it should be Lee's place if he were still around due to being friends with Doug or lovers with Carly. Clem was on the same level of concern for Lilly at the time as Duck both being children that had little to do with that adult orientated confrontation. It was also more of an accident in my original playthrough because she killed Doug by accident while Carly was surely intentional murder. There would be nothing for Clem to forgive concerning Lilly really and if anything this would fall under a matter of trust for Clementine yet again. This really could be an interesting in-game decision if it became something like with Conrad again of deciding whether or not to let Lilly possess a gun should she stumble upon your new group or if she is captured by the group since Clementine knows some of her mental stability history along with weapons in the past.
In fairness to Lilly, she had gone through a great deal of trauma when she did what she did. Her intentions were near always initially good, but the mental anguish she'd gone through had made her bitter and to a great extent unstable, but she never stepped over the line and became irredeemable. For one, Doug's death was a complete accident and Carley's was a direct outcome of her internal stress exploding to the surface, and resulting in tragedy. Lilly, though, still expresses remorse and shame straight after the shooting, and you can tell there's still a lot of good in her. So yeah, of course, I'd forgive her.
Anyone that had to witness their own father's skull be caved in, and then have to try and lead an increasingly divided group, many of whom showed little care for what she was going through, is a truly sympathetic character and not the heartless bitch so many are determined to paint Lilly as on here.
Also, I'd just like to add that it's very unlikely that Lilly, whether she comes back or not, would ever hurt Clementine. Lilly always showed affection for Clementine and it would be completely out of character for her, if a return happened, to be some sort of monster in the new season. A redemption arc would be much more appropriate for Lilly.
lee your past matters
lee your past doesn't matter
lee your past matters again
at least doug is consistent.
She's literally just a vehicle for some cheap drama with lee's past and also with her "tragically" dying, but then being pretty much forgotten by Lee.
