Here's a crazy thought. What if Tenn is Lee's son?
Think about it. Tenn looks to be the right age to have been born in the months right after shit started going down. What if Lee's wife was pregnant, no one knew it yet, then Lee caught her with the senator, killed the senator, went to prison, but she was pregnant with Lee's baby? Lee says his wife moved to Virginia, and that's where season 3 took place, and presumably Clem and AJ are still in the general area. What if Lee's wife had Tenn, died at some point, and Tenn ended up in the school with the other kids?

No.
It's been 8-9 years since the outbreak began.
I really doubt that considering how Lee has talked about how his wife didn't want to have kids and that their marriage wasn't doing too hot.
Well it's technically possible but very unlikely. For the first time the games will be taking place in the future of the comics. Until now the comics have always been ahead but now season 4 will be about 3 years ahead of where the comics are right now. Negan is still alive in the comics and as I recall just wandered off into the world so it's possible he could still be alive and be part of the game but I wouldn't count on it.
I have to agree with lupinb0y here. Even if they had a kid already, everyone who played Season 1 would've remembered something that major by now.
Life fact: not everyone that gets pregnant wants to get pregnant lol... if she got pregnant right before the outbreak she may not have had time to get an abortion before the collapse and abortions weren't possible. Or maybe she was the type that didn't believe in abortions so even if she didn't want a kid she'd still carry it.
Even if that were the case, considering their rocky marriage it's doubtful that they were intimate with each other which is what led to his wife cheating.
No.. I don't think you understood what I was saying. It's situation where she had recently gotten pregnant and Lee didn't know. If their marriage was on the rocks and she got pregnant, she might not have told him, especially after he murdered her side piece lol. That does happen, woman gets pregnant and doesn't tell the father for whatever reason.
You know what. What if Tenn is not Lee's son, but the senator's son instead? How's that for a trip?
That's ridiculous. It's obviously the UNNAMED COP'S SON
My marriage to my kids' mom was pretty rocky but we'd still fuck somewhat regularly AND she was cheating on me at the same time lol.
To be clear, I don't actually think Tenn is Lee's kid and I'm not arguing that he definitely is. It's just, he technically could be and I've yet to hear (read) a single reason why he couldn't be.
Who?
The overly talkative cop from the beginning of the game
I know he's white, but that just adds to the mystique
Gotta remember that the beginning of Season 1 Episode 1 is pretty much a few hours after he was arrested and was already on the way to prison.
He looks more like a combined version of Christa and Omid
That's like Lucifer and Amenadiel telling the psychiatrist that they're (angel) brothers on the Lucifer TV show.
Eh. Wouldn't be as impactful. Imagine Tenn telling Clem the story of his scar, about his mother, and the stories she told him of his father. His father was a history teacher but he killed Tenn's mom's "friend" and went to jail before Tenn was born, just before the zombies. Clem puts 2 and 2 together and realizes Tenn is Lee's son. Suddenly she has two kids she has to look out for. AJ, whom she's basically raised as her own kid for about 6 years and now Tenn, the son of the man who saved her life and died for her. What if there'd come a point where she had to choose who to save, AJ or Tenn. Would she save her adopted son, or would she repay the debt to Lee and save his son?
No he doesn't. He's far darker skinned than either of them.
Ah shit you're right, so at the very least it's been a couple days.
Crazier idea... what if Lee had zero presence or relevance this season? Actually nevermind, there's crazy then there's just plain dumb.
If Tenn is Lee's son I will actually set my PS4 on fire, and roast marshmallows with it.
That would be the worst fucking twist ever.
What if AJ is Lee's Son?
Dun Dunn Dunnn
I actually really like the idea because it would be an amazing plot twist and telltale confirmed they would include some difficult decisions like which character should live and which one should die. However, how is Tenn supossed to know who is his dad, or the fact that he went to jail and why. He was a newborn baby back then. You mean that he grew up with his mom in Virgina who explained him everything about his dad, after which he for some reason got separated from his mom?
Btw I don't understand why everyone thinks this would be a bad twist. This is what fiction is supposed to do. "Clem meeting exactly Lee's son is too unlikely." Well how likely was it that Clem in s2 happened to meet exactly her past friend Kenny? How likely is it that she happens to meet Lilly who is also an old friend? Are any of those 2 appearances bad? No, and so wouldn't Tenn being Lee's son.
Uh, no.
There is a huge difference between meeting Lee's son, and meeting Kenny or Lily.
i feel like lee isn't the type of pissbaby to knock up some random chick just because he got cheated on. he knows better
2,3 I didn't mean it was unlikely Kenny and Lilly survived, rather that Clem happened to meet Kenny and Lilly after they all got separated and headed their own ways.
Who said anything about lee "knocking up" some random woman? I said Lee's wife was pregnant by lee but was so early along that Lee didn't know she was pregnant because she didn't tell him. Maybe she didn't even know at the time everything happened and only found out after the zombies started walking around.
Tenn is clearly officer Mitchel s son.
Wasn't there already a thread about this? Jeez.
Anyway, no, that wouldn't make sense.
Oh fuck's sake, stay the hell away from that line of thought.
Especially since Violet was obviously gonna be Tenn's guardian.
Even though his "parents" in that instance would've been living in Georgia and Tennessee, respectively. With existing spouses of several years, no less.
Cause it'd come right the hell out of nowhere and contradict with what we know about Lee's backstory.
Not to mention that he'd literally not have the time.
How does it contradict anything? Lee caught his wife cheating and killed the dude she was fucking and he was on his way to prison when the outbreak started spreading, That in no way means she couldn't have been pregnant and not known it yet. It's not like women get a pop up notification in their brain the moment they get pregnant. Life is not the fucking Sims lol. Due to inconsistent periods, many women are 6 to 8 weeks pregnant before they even know they're pregnant, sometimes even more. It's rare but sometimes a woman will carry to full term and not even realize she was pregnant until she goes into labor and pops out a baby.
My entire idea was she was pregnant but either A, she was early enough along that she wasn't showing and never told Lee, or B, she was early enough along that she didn't even know she was pregnant until after Lee had killed her side piece.
I recall Kenny asking Lee in Episode 1 if he has kids of his own to which the player can respond with "No, no kids". I also think Clementine asks Lee in Episode 2 if he will ever have children and Lee can reply that he hopes to have a child one day, a little girl just like Clementine
Yes but unlike women, men can have kids and not know it. If Lee's wife was pregnant but hadn't told him or if she was pregnant but didn't even know it herself, he'd not know that he had a possible kid out there.
This is why I always answer the "do you have kids" question with "I don't think so" because afaik I don't but I could easily have some kids out there somewhere and not know it.
That's the twist!
Good point. Never really thought about that. Thanks
Holy shit. nice! jk I'm probably immature to be startled by this. Disregard my behavior.
I might be blurring the idea that Rebecca and him hooked up in there or something, but the idea is that Lee was married for several years, believed having a kid could help save his distancing marriage to Sam, and seemingly spent most of his life in Georgia. Tenn is in Virginia(?) and barely as old as the outbreak itself.
It don't add up.
Really...? How the fuck do you not notice that--being fat as hell and/or histrionic to begin with?
