Who do you enjoy playing most as?

Lee in Season 1
Clementine in season 2
Javier in season 3 (And a little bit of Clementine)
Or Clementine in season 4

For me its a tie between s2 and s4 Clem.

S2 Clem, easy,i didnt even have to think about it
    pppppp
    About the other ones:
    Lee was cool
Javier i dont care bout that mf at all,in fact i forgot he even existed
    S3 Clem is trash
S4 Clem is less trash (or at least can be if u want her to)

  • Season 4 Clementine, No doubt

  • It's still Lee for me, but Season 4 Clem was damn good.

  • Still Lee.

  • S2 Clem is gangster af

  • Too early for me to make a call on S4 Clem. Tough one between S1 and 2 though, think I'll go with 2 on that one.

  • s4 Clem definitely.
I have to however mention how I disliked s3 Clem. Not only did she have a crush upon abomination called Gabe, but she acted really edgy and rude quite often.
Thankfully s4 Clem is now back to being nice

  • Thats right
    Make Clementine great again

  • Clem, regardless of season.

  • Sofar, S4 Clementine. Playing as Javier was so...bleh

Lee was cool but I think by the end of S4 it’s gonna be “Mother Clem”.

  • It will ALWAYS be Lee, hands down!

  • S4 Clem has a strong possibility of becoming my favorite.
Aside from that, it would be Lee.

  • Lee or S4 Clem. Can't really say for Javi since I've never tried ANF.

  • I've never tried ANF.

    good,keep it that way

    • Lee
    • Clementine S4
    • Clementine S2
    • Javier (lol)
    • Clementine S3 (LOL)

Jury's still out between Clem S4/Lee. I love Lee, but I feel like Clem has the potential to be even better. After all, Season 1 is just as much her story as it is Lee's and we only got to play as Lee for one Season, whereas Clem will get a total of three and a 1/100th. S2 Clem was a bit boring at times and S3 Clem was a sassy teenage stereotype (and really made me hater her character), but the story has come full circle with S4 Clem and AJ. We'll see.

I'll just say Lee by default.
    The others were either:

    • not playable for near as long,
    • didn't have as many interactivity options,
    • had very few, underdeveloped, & questionably executed relationship systems,
    • had the story not as geared towards both their character & what development they undergo,
    • weren't as interesting, enjoyable, and/or fleshed out as characters,
or some combination of those shortcomings.
  • Lee or season 4/2 Clem! I did not like season 3 Clem she was so ooc

    1. Lee
    2. S4 Clementine/Javier
    3. S3 Clementine
    4. S2 Clementine
  • The reason I'd say Lee is because he was very empowering to play with. I always felt really cool when chatting people down wid muh deep voice. I liked when Lee said 'empty' lol.

  • Season 4 Mommy Clem is my new favorite TWD character ever. The development of her character has been so amazing. She has so many layers of awesome. She's a zombie slaying badass by nature but then you sprinkle in how intellectually polarizing she is which was what already made her special along with her new found role of having to be a mom to AJ.

It's fun to play with Clem this season because you balance 3 cool things. Being a mom and making tough decisions parenting AJ and trying to do your best to teach him the right things, then you get to dabble in the multiple unraveling romances and see that side of clem and make all these new friends and than of course the Zombie slaying and especially in the new battle system, kicking the walker's legs out and than putting a knife through their skull is just so satisfying :).

Other characers I enjoyed were of course Lee but also Season 2 Clem. Her decisions played extremely pivotal roles in s2. Plus hanging out with Kenny was life lol

Idk bout S4 clem yet,she still gives me dem ANF vibes fo now,S2 is when she started becomin the character we all kno today,it also was (or could by playa choice) the most balanced version with the badass stuff and with not bein a piece of shit
thats wat made er special i even think an ANF character (i could b totally wrong since i only played that garbage once :D ) mentioned that at one point in a flashback, she doesnt generally act like a bitch but u also dont wanna fuck wit er

  • I'm gonna stir the pot here and say Javi. I like Javi's personality. I relate more to him than anyone else.

    1. S4 Clementine
    2. Lee
    3. S2 Clementine
    4. Javier

Javier. It was nice to play as someone closer to my age (I’m in my 30s) and having him be a former baseball player (My favorite sport) was a plus.

Always pictured myself using a baseball bat if the zombie apocalypse happened in real life.

He's not my favorite, but I did really enjoy Javi's flashback scenes at the start of each episode.
As for my favorite, I don't know, lets see how this season turns out.

Oh heck, I'll say Shel, just to be different.

  • Asswipe was cool too

  • Russell?

hell yeah! my homie Russell was dope too!

    Yea

  • Lee is definitely always going to be a favourite, he's the og and I loved playing as him.

But, I think perhaps season 4 Clementine comes in at second place, or ties with Lee for first, because as a female, I enjoy playing female main characters (usually helps me connect lmao) and also she's around my age at this point, a year or so younger than me (presuming she's 17, I'm 18), so it's nice to play as a girl close to my age.

    1. Lee Everett
    2. S4 Clementine
    3. Javier
    4. S2 Clementine
    5. ANF Clementine

Oh, we're ranking them? Well then:
    1. Professor Lee Everrett: Possesses most/all of the qualities listed above
    2. Clementine: Despite my beef with the later incarnation of the character, Clementine being the lead in Season 2 felt like both a unique and earned move, with many of the character, story, and thematic concepts of the season setting the stage. Unfortunately, the actual execution of the game and story around her dropped the ball, with many interesting possibilities not being properly capitalized on, arcs ending up sadly underdeveloped and/or dropped, the character herself becoming increasingly neutral and at the whim of a wishwashy direction, and the game ending final choice somewhat underlining just how undermined the premise was.
    3. #25 Javier Garcia: Fun deviation from the long established-norm of quiet, introverted, and usually depressingly reflective protagonists with. Only real issues with him comes down more to the quality of game and story he's in rather than himself. Which, unfortunately, were mostly exacerbated and/or downright confusing despite the odd setup and more streamlined direction.
    4. ANF!Clementine: This "character" is a cynical insult and the gameplay, while theoretically interesting, is barely there. There are a few good moments/setups to the flashbacks, but to say it was mostly a tiny top that was accidentally flushed would be an understatement.

400 Days: Assorted in vague relation to others due to incredibly short playtime. Order of enjoyment--

    • Shel: Favorite character out of the five, with her gameplay and story being the closest to Season 1's status quo also helping.
    • Bonnie: While rather railroady compared to most of the scenario, this is nonetheless an interesting little experience as a pseudo-origin story of a pitiably misguided young woman who unfortunately keeps finding herself in comfortable situations that ultimately don't work out in somewhat epic ways. Could've done without seeing that death scene, though.
    • Russell: Mixed to positive on this one, as while Russell himself is also a sympathetic character with an unfortunately educated set of walls around him, it's a little hard to get around the fact that his scenario is an afterschool special in the apocalypse. Nate is fine as both a anti-role model foil & antagonist for Russel and as the type of random bastard who would just be roaming the ending world driven by hedonism. However, the ending both does and yet doesn't matter in a way.
    • Tavia: While nowhere near as involved as the main five, Tavia's essential scenario acts as an ambiguously hopeful closure to the DLC and an unfortunate(?) artifact of a segway into what Season 2 has in store. Plus, playing as someone who's working for a whole settlement and thus somewhat has it together was a nice little novelty.
    • Vince: Eh character in a somewhat positive way, with his near stoic dedication to doing whatever it takes to protect the people he cares about being his only real character trait and the historic relevance of taking place the day of the outbreak. The highlight for me was the bighearted if questionable mindset Danny the Prisoner and the serious flaw being the egocentrically embezzling Justin the Prisoner and most importantly the fact that he's required for the true ending, despite what logic might dictate in any given gameplay choices.
    • Wyatt: Least favorite character of the five, with his characterization being a bland straight man at best & an unsympatethic(in the in-universe sense) grump at worst and his comedy duo with fellow stoner Eddie being a kind of out of place in the middle of TWDG Season 1's world. Probably a nice little wayside if you enjoy fart jokes, old stalker/killer after teens in the middle of a swamp setups, and for the continuity regarding who's after them, but is otherwise a little too off the path.

    Not Applicable: Michonne and Clementeen
