Will the Garcías return?
Hey everyone. I just was wondering if we have heard anything about the determinant and non determinant characters of season three returning? I personally liked Javi and Kate. I would like to at least have some closure. It feels to me like there was no point to season 3 If we don’t know what happened. It would be like none of our choices mattered and non of our endings mattered...

I see that it’s Clem’s story. I feel like presenting them in a flashback or small scene is Clem’s story as well. It wouldn’t take away from her imo. Every season they kill off all these characters for what purpose? Can’t get attached to any of them
I'm not sure flashbacks are a good idea after ANF, but considering everyone except Javier is determinant, I didn't expect much of them regardless of their returning status.

Yeah that’s what I figured. But honestly, I figured we might get Javi at some point just helping Clem. Seeing as he was non determinant. I figured that seemed likely. Then, i thought he’d talk about Richmond falling. Most players tended to like Javi.
I didn’t think telltale would be immersive enough to write the dialogue for all the Garcías for the whole season.
Clementine is going to walk up then say hi to Gabe again then Louis or Violet will walk up and put their arm around her stating "who's this?" completely crushing Gabe's chances haha.
Honestly it makes ANF seem even that more irrelevant and a waste of time in hindsight seeing how everything from ANF except Clem has been discarded this season.
Maybe Javi and Kate return in a passing mention by Clem
I still hold out hope that TellTale have beein lying about Javi not showing up in order to preserve some twist or something.
I mean hopefully they explain why Clem didnt go back to Richmond. Only way I can see a Garcia returning would be Javi only, and only if they end the season with Clem going back to Richmond.
I would be fine with Clem going back to Richmond at the end and playing baseball with Javi.
The story builder kind of made it clear they were trying to pretend it never happened ??

Like personally I could give no cares about Lilly and they’re made it pretty obvious she’s coming back. I would rather see Christa or Molly or something
I know you could get her to mention Javi and Gabe during the card game, but it wasn’t definitive enough to assume they were dead
Yeah it’s crazy to me that they’ve made zero efforts to at least attempt to include anf or even how that all affected her

a spinoff would be p rad. but more likely in the next episode they'll be like "btw they all died lmao" and move on. the endings were probs too open ended to build anything else on.
No when she talks about Javi, the baseball player, she doesn't seem sad about him like she does when she talks about Lee or Kenny. Granted, Javi was more a friend where Lee and Kenny would have been more like parental figures, but if Javi were dead and she knew it she'd show some degree of sadness about it. The fact that she doesn't implies he's still alive, at least as far as she knows.
Nah. My Clem's going right back to Gabe if the Garcia's were to ever show up again.
Aw, my Clem might go visit his grave if we ever get back to Richmond. Poor little fella, he died the way he lived. In tears.
He died the first time I played the game too. But I can't have children dying if it's avoidable. Said goodbye to Aj instead of spitting on David and everything turned out okay. Kind of have a soft spot for Gabe.

It's certainly not inconceivable that could happen.
It's not as if they actively want to tell us about everything we can expect to see before we even have a chance to be surprised.
Besides, if they had their heart set on giving Javi only a passing reference at the card game, they could've just made him determinant, along with everyone else.
Surely they'll explain why Clementine didn't go back to Richmond (which as far as we know is still under Javi's leadership)
Don't worry. They're not pretending ANF didn't happen. You can mention both Gabe and Javier in the card game. They will probably tell us what happened to Richmond.
I brought the same question up a couple of days ago, so I feel the exact same way as you. Javier is the only friend Clem has so it would be disappointing (to me) if we don't see him, even as a cameo or something short.
I have a theory that something bad happened to Richmond, and it has something to do with that toy Clem had in the trunk of her car. I'm pretty sure it had a bullet hole in it, she also looked sad if you chose to look at it. Either that or it has something to do with the Ranch.
I think Clementine will have the option to go Richmond but it turns out they either died or left
Telltale said it's the end of Clem's story, but she did not say it's the end of the story of Javier and Michonne (who I hope comes back), I really hope to get back with them because there are interesting stories and choices for TWD. But all that's left is hope I do not think they're going to launch another TWD in 2 to 3 years, but with the release of the wolf between us and the new game of thrones they'll launch some new TWD game by 2020
I don’t see how they can say that the missing Kate ending will not be forgotten, yet soon after they go on to say none of them will return. I don’t understand how they can be written out just because there is a certain main character, kind of a huge plot hole to me and makes no sense. Just because it is clementine’s story doesn’t mean they can’t be in it. Louis and Violet have stolen the hearts of most of the fan base but it hasn’t affected our views on clementine or anything, has it?

Yeah and that was their decision to literally give so many possible endings. They should act on that. A spin-off would be cool. I could see them ending up wrapped up with rick’s groups in the comics. They’re literally so close and already know Jesus

AGREE AGREE AGREE. There’s no need to write them out and pretend they don’t exist. Clem needs some friends...she literally has no one until she got lucky and found this school
Yeah, this is the final season after all, it needs to go out with a bang, and the best way to do that is by bringing all 3 prior seasons together so it all makes sense and so it all feels connected, even if not as many people liked the Garcia’s.
