That has nothing to do with what I’m saying. I don’t see why that was even mentioned. I also don’t see why that “makes sense”. If you’re try

You’re free to think whatever you want about my beliefs, but it would be best to ask rather than assume. Hatred, however, isn’t part of my beliefs as well as anything that resembles it. I can assure you of that without the need for any further speculation. I have said nothing disrespectful towards any group of individuals, and I will continue to not do that. Why my physical appearance was mentioned in relation to “roasting me” as well, I don’t know. I wish you nothing but the best, but I don’t want to have a conversation with you if that’s how you conduct yourself. Have a good night!

  • Personal attacks like that aren't necessary. Let's avoid those, please.

  • LOLOLOLOLOLOLO CLEM CAN LIKE GIRL LOLOLOLO LGBT FOREBER

  • I can understand you not liking it, but something that is optional to the players shouldn't take away from your enjoyment of this season. It's something that you can avoid at all cost if you want to. Im personally fine with the romance aspect, it makes sense given how old Clementine is and hormones.I don't really see where it is forced, but its your opinion so its fine. But I would rather see her with louis, I feel like they have good chemistry and their kinda similar to omid and christa.

I agree with you completely. As another user replied, the romance option seems to be forced, especially with regards to Violet. I wish that

I think what he is saying is how every Telltale game to date will always put the player in a situation for romance, and then the game still keeps giving more and more romantic situations to the player no matter how badly they dont want them. Every Telltale game with romance is very hand holdy and is very clearly biased towards the player going down the romance road. Best example is Rhys x Sasha and how forced that relationship was. Player says no, still stuck with scenes of Rhys and Sasha flirting and shit.

Sure you can "avoid it" but its annoying that you have to constantly ignore it, instead of just going "no thanks" and then its over. Its still really present, even if you have to hit no every time.

  • Your definitely right about those scenarios, let's just hope that Telltale doesn't do that with this season. Even though I want romance, I don't want people who are uncomfortable with that sort of thing to keep dealing with it.

  • Wouldnt take the achievements to be confirmation on that. I am really hoping that it seems Telltale has had most of the game completely planned from the start, so I am hoping they put more time in the romance stuff. Theres still always the chance "platonic" wont change anything that much, considering like I said, rhys and sasha, you decline it, it keeps happening anyway.

  • no means no, telltale!

  • Depends on the player actions with the person in my opinion.

  • Tbh after all this shenanigans I can't wait to kill every last thing that makes clem turn from the straight road.

Exactly! I couldn’t have said it any better. I would explain things more, but I think that you did that for me. You took the time to understand what I was saying, instead of agreeing with those who made personal attacks (as indicated by the number of likes on a comment that was directed towards me). Thank you!

  • @andrearnettbraun

I don't know why they feel the need to explore a character's sexuality (and always make them bisexual for that matter)

    May I ask how that's a problem?

  • Where does he say its a problem?

Bruh there's people who are telling others who are pro bi clem that they shouldn't make a big deal about it but yet the same people make a big deal about in a negative way.

Who cares? She is what she is. The romance options are there if you prefer whatever character and want a romance and the best friend option is there for those who wanna remain single. A characters sexuality/a romance route shouldn't be that much of a big deal to put you off the main plot or the game in general. Who actually cares? And if people wanna be happy about it then let them, it ain't doing no harm lol.

Edit: I just noticed that there was a few spelling mistakes lol sorry I'm tired

  • Well they can if OP doesn't want have the thread up anymore all they gotta do is ask a mod

  • Tell me what thid thread accomplish other than having two warring faction defending the side they are on without wanting to listen to the other

We can't keep having these kinds of threads shut down just because of [things I can't say].

  • By that logic, any thread that doesn't lead to anything substantial should be shut down.

    But it does show that:

    • even when the relationships for the main character are entirely determinant, it's somehow "not okay" for Clem to be any kind of queer, lest it be "forced" onto non-queer players, despite the fact that queer rep is still horrible for the game franchise and that we've been forced into straight/cishet relationships since season 1
    • people who aren't okay with queer threads can't just leave them alone
    • blatant disregard for research (re: characters' queer identities vs choices made by the player) and other people's privacy (for the latter, I am talking about the "oh I see it's cuz you're Christian" comment)

    and probably something I'm forgetting

  • I mean depends on what you choose eh?

I personally don't strongly see Clem as bisexual, as of yet. Then again, I haven't been particularly warm to Violet or Louis in TFS. We do know, from the cringe romance from ANF, she is at the very least straight. I think her sexuality should ultimately be up to the player; i.e. she can pursue a romance with Violet or Louis, or both, or neither. In any case, I don't see her sexuality as making up a significant part of her core character that much, as far as the series has developed her.

  • I see my Clem as being pretty gender neutral? Somewhere between pansexual and asexual.

  • People want a reason to fight others to get a sense of power and control over them, rather than having a productive discussion. I'm not really into that, and this thread hasn't shown a lot of productive discussions, but that seems to be the reality.
