Who is your favorite kid character in the game?
We all know how hard it is to be a child in the apocalypse. Few children survived the horrors ...
Who is your favorite kid character? And why?
Here is a list of all the kids in the game (0-19 years old):

Comments
Clem, Ben, Sarah, Arvo, Violet, Aasim
Honorable mentions, or ones I'm not sure count as my favorites: AJ, Louis, Tenn
Also, where are you getting these ages?
Some one work at Telltale
u kno thats really hard,i have no idea what almost everyone will say
Gabe for sure!
/s
Definitely no one will say Clementine and everyone will say Arvo and/or Duck.
Season 1
Clementine: She was basically the earliest example of how to write a likable and believable child character, without making the child come across as either sickeningly adorable, obnoxious, or overly competent (besides some odd moments here and there). Being an uncle at the time helped kick my paternal instincts whenever Clementine was around.
400 Days
Becca: I felt that Becca was really putting on an act and that she's not as cold and ruthless as she seems, just a kid who honestly wants to grow up quicker and adopt a more sensible and pragmatic approach on survival without overstepping her boundaries. I like the idea behind Becca's character, and I'm disappointed that she will likely never have another role again.
Season 2
Sarah: Out of the Cabin Group, I related to her inner struggles the most. In spite of her anxiety issues due to her PTSD and sheltered nature, she did have a desire to improve herself, and she had the occasional inner strength when it had mattered (standing up to Carver if he hits Clementine, willingness to help Clementine fix her bite wound when everyone else abandoned her). It still baffles me to this day that Sarah was meant to be a hated character when a character like Gabe exists. She deserved better than what she had in Amid the Ruins.
Honorable Mentions
Ben
Ericson's Boarding School Kids (minus Marlon)
Why you didn't like Clem in S2-S4?
Hmm, that's a really difficult question. I mean, out of that entire list, who could I possibly choose as the best kid character. There's certainly no obvious choice here, they're all so good in their own ways. With the exception being that annoying and bratty character named after a fruit, what the hell is her name again? Orange, Apple, Tangerine, Peach, ah who the fuck cares? Anyone but her.
I guess Gabe, his character was so enriching and a nice change of pace for this series. The growth and maturity he goes through in TWD's best game (ANF) is something that will be studied and talked about for decades to come. God I do sure love Gabe.
I try not to include playable characters on my favourite lists, except for special cases where they stand out among the cast.
As for Clementine, I felt that she was rather dull in Season 2, and was unnecessarily shoehorned in ANF with a 'try-hard' edgy attitude I wasn't a fan of.
At least from what I've seen in Season 4, Clementine is carrying her own story better than she did in Season 2, and I'm liking how she's handling her relationship with AJ so far.
LOL
CLEMENTINE
Well if its bout the telltale series as a whole then i choose this one,u might b surprised cuz its sort of an unpopular opinion cuz like , nobody likes this character,like..at all, everyone hates it so u will b really surprised to see that its my favorite
its clementine
OK, but wait!.. if we like... devide the shit for each season then its more complicated
Season 1
Clementine
Season 2
its Clementine
ANF
anyone except Clementine
TFS
its clementine
Season 1
Clementine
Season 2
Sarah
A New Frontier
Mariana
The Final Season
Louis
Probably Ben or Marlon.
i agree she was definitely the best kid in the game
Sarah?
the question also said and why,so,why?
probably, almost worth it for the hair alone
You know for me Clem is the best kid in all games ... Idk how people can love Mariana more lol
because ANF
because anf clem
because everyone was better than her in that game
because mariana was better than gabe n even gabe was better than clem in anf
I love her there the most too.
She was just angry and rude because she want AJ back.
Clem, Louis and Tenn for me
Clem
Ben
Sarah
AJ
Violet
Tenn
Willy
Aasim
Brody
Excluding Clem, cause it would just be Clem...
Season 1: Ben
Season 2: Sarah
Season 3: Mariana
Season 4: Aasim
Everyone but Gabe
(Seriously though, Clementine, AJ, Louis and Mariana)
Because her attitude is very similar to mine, she could have been Clem's best partner in the apocalypse if the game gave us an option to teach her more about survival. The hatred on her is so stupid and unjustified, just because she didn't learn about survival doesn't mean she deserves a lot of pain. Hell, she is a hundred times better than Gabe the shitbird of all shitbirds, throwing his own uncle under the bus for actually saving him (Gabe) from a maniac who pointed a gun at him, as soon as he did, I wanted him dead ASAP!!!
Too bad she died over Gabe, she also could have been Clem's friend but no, Telltale had to do the same shit again because we deserve more action than story.
Because we actually got to talk to her more than just 5 minutes. She was smart and loved her uncle. She never should have died because Gabe kept making things worse, her death didn't change him at all.
she is,and she aint a bad character but best one? its S2 so theres like, clem around,so...
and yeah Killin mariana like dat wasnt rly a good idea
they killed the only good character in ANF just for "unexpected shocking shit" it was like really fuckin trash,it wasnt even sad it was just oh shit wtf? and then damn that was like..really fuckin stupid
Ben is my favorite one. I excluded Clem out for obvious reasons.
AJ might take up Ben's spot though, depending on how he does in the future episodes of TFS. He already went past Duck and Sarah for me. Kid's got some potential.
I start like him a lot after EP2 scene ... he looks so badass and protective on Clem. I love it.
Definitely Clementine!
First is definitely Clem.
Then probably Violet > Louis > Aasim > AJ
I liked Duck a lot. He obviously wasn't that smart. But like Kenny said. He made up for it with being very enthusiastic.
He was truly good. A very good boy. Just wanted everyone to be happy. AND he turned out to be quite useful in episode 3.
So sad that he got so much hate. He didn't deserve it. I kinda get sick when people can have so much hatred towards children.
I don't hate any of children of that list.
Assuming we're ranking them including teenagers up to and debatably including the legal age(TFS characters pending):
Sarah Michelle Louis Gabe
Willy Arvo
Ben AJ Tenn Assim Baseball Kid Russell Sophie
Clementine Alex
Greg Marlon Brody Drew Adam Elizabeth Danielle Fivel Ida Jaime Jenny Pitcher Villager Kid Molly's Sister
Becca Ruby Omar Travis Molly
Violet Minerva Gill Elodie Collette Mitch Alfred
James Duck Mariana
ANF!Clementine
Really now?
I mean, I guess Michelle would have to be relatively up there to be around Russell's age, but still.
Because she died and isn't an overrated invincible mascot character who gets special treatment.
While I can't help but get the feeling you're bs-in around here, but regardless I found Gabe to be an interesting divergence from what Telltale clearly found easier and/or comfortable, as well as interestingly deconstructing the character type to be relatively grounded and realistically balanced.
At least for the first half of the installment, anyway.

Imo Telltale made Clem edgy in ANF is because she's 13, and in real life, kids her age, have that sort of attitude.
They all kids.
that dont mean shit
and 8/9 and 11 year olds arent magic badass super intelligent mature mfs,and theres also zombies and shit
makin the character trash wasnt necessary
Eh, depends on what culture and/or prerequisites you're using.
Some 8-11 year olds can be just as intelligent, and just as mature as an adult. Also what Telltale did, imo, makes Clementine more realistic, as she goes through different stages in her life.
some 13 yo arent pieces of shit either
so it wasnt necessary
and realistic or nah
was still a trash idea
