Well since they're working on Minecraft for Netflix, and there is a Minecraft forum somewhere in Telltale community, I think this forum will stay functional till they finish their job with Minecraft and decide to disband the company for good, and the forums with it.
I've been wondering about that myself.

Running sites like this is extremely inexpensive. It might still be around for awhile, these sorts of things often well outlast their company's closing.
