In season 2 why didn't they just return to the ski lodge

edited March 2019 in The Walking Dead

After dealing with Carver and his nonsense place had power a shitload of food and was built for cold conditions so why didn't the group go there it was a sandwich that they escaped from Carvers once already and made it to that one cabin so surely it wouldn't be that hard to find a ski lodge again.

  • Carver's place was too far from the lodge. Howes took place in Tennesse and the lodge was in North Carolina.

  • Talk about a waste of gasoline?

  • Plus, the lodge's supplies were raided. Not enough to hold out the winter

  • The Ski Lodge is in Virginia, while Howe's Hardware is apparently in Tennessee.
Also, Carver cleaned the place of any supplies.

  • Well it could have been on the border it can't be that far they walked from Carver's to the cabin in the first place and then to the cabin to the lodge no way it's THAT far even if they took all the food replace still had power that's more than can be said for most places.

  • Over the course of multiple days, if not weeks though.

    Mm...true enough, I guess?

    1. The lodge was in Virginia, and they had been driven all the way to Howe's in Tennessee.
    2. An entire window had been shot out and Carver's gang cleared the place of supplies.
    3. The group was facing the more immediate threat of escaping Howe's. Once they had regrouped, they didn't even have food or water which would make such a journey impossible.
