The only videogame villain catching up to LeChuck in number of forms is probably Gruntilda the Witch. She's been a witch, a sexified witch, a skeleton-zombie, a skull, a robot, a ghost and a skull in a jar on a clone body.

Lechuck just needs a clone body then.

    I'm sensing a storyline here...

LeChuck takes over by making dozens of clones/copies of himself, each governing an island. And they could all have varying personalities or defects too.
Guybrush must save the Caribbean in this final test by eliminating all of LeChuck's clones once and for all.

Monkey Island draws a lot on cultural references, it would be a shame if we didn't draw an obvious parallel with Harry Potter and explain that LeChuck through the darkest forms of Voodoo has split himself/or his soul into a dozen pieces. With Guybrush defeating the last of LeChuck's nefarious plots it would be a ncie way of removing LeChuck from the storyline and introduce another villain following his ultimate demise.

Escape as a whole was really funny. Funnier than every other Monkey Island game as of 2012, at least.
