Siege of Spinner Cay: Cursed! (Arranged Music Album)

After about 2 years of hiding I'm getting back to doing TOMI mixes. I just finished Siege of Spinner Cay: Cursed! It contains arranged songs from the game meant to sound Like COMI. It took about 3 months but now I'm satisfied with it. Hope you all like it!

I've listened only to bits and pieces so far, but this sounds really awesome! I'll be sure to listen to it fully and properly.

However, there is one BIG big drawback (although it's really subjective). You haven't rearranged this track :p And it's, like, the most beautiful (in my personal opinion) theme from the whole second chapter!

    But still, awesome work! :)

Wow! This is too awesome for words!!

Amazing job, Wdrpgwd! The only ones I think I would have also liked are the Narwhal's Theme and when Guybrush and Winslow leave Spinner Cay.

But still, you managed to do a fantastic work! I hope you can continue doing these for the following chapters :)

Keep up the great work! :D

Well, the "Rafting" theme is a fast version of the map theme, isn't it?

Anyway, very well done, it really mimics the sound of CMI's soundtrack nicely. May I ask what sound libraries you've used for these?

Of course, the major drawback of CMI's music is that the ambience sounds are mixed into it - I'd rather have music only tracks ;)

This is great stuff, it really does make me feel like I'm playing Curse! Thanks for making and posting.

And Star Wars: Episode I final celebration music is a fast version of the Emperor's Theme, your point? :p

Thanks for the compliments everyone. I have a lot of songs started. I didn't want to get too far into it until I knew there was interest. Siege took me 3 months. Yuck.

Farlander, I have that song done. I just need to make it better. I hope to have it done soon.

Laser, I use Miroslav Philharmonik and Kontact 4 as my VST's.

    *stands up*

    *claps*

Seriously, these sound awesome, the amount of effort put into Curse makes it easily one of the stand out Soundtrack for Monkey Island so to hear stuff composed for Tales done the same way, it just sounds soo much better!

edit: I don't suppose you have any Lossless versions around, or at least higher bitrate than 128kbps!

    Fantastic stuff, dude.

Huh, I really do hear the Curse of Monkey Island influence.

Thanks again, for the compliments. :)

Ash, I honestly didn't even notice they were at 128kbps. I'm not sure how I missed it. Most people wont be able to tell the differance but the next album will be at 256kbps.

I'm currently working on "Lair of Leviathan: Cursed!". I hope I'll be done by next Wednesday. So far I like it more than Siege but some tracks sound more like EMI than Curse. If anyone had a request let me know. Thanks.

If you're doing Episode 3, please don't forget to do the track for when DeCava is attacking Guybrush's ship! I believe it's called "OceanFinale-Attack". It plays right at the beggining of this clip, before Guybrush solves the puzzle:

In fact, I did a little arrangement of it, in case you wanna hear and gives you any ideas for your arrangement...

Be warned, it can become a little too much :p

Best of luck with the upcoming stuff!!!

I actually did that song but hated it when I was done. But your version captures notes that I didnt hear in my version... Maybe I'll go back one more time and try to make it work. I have 10 other songs at the moment and I'm just about done.

    Thanks for the help Trenchfoot.
