Can't download new episodes
Got WD Ep1 for Ipad no problem at all from the Apple App Store.

However, although I've bought the bundle for the rest of the episodes I can't download them from within the app.

Every download attempt fails at 0.%

We are aware of this issue, and currently investigating a potential solution. Please try shutting down the game application and restarting the device. Make sure you are logged into the iTunes account that purchased the game before attempting the download again.

I did what you told me, but it still doesn't work.:(

I was able to download episode 1 and 2 a while ago but now 3 is not loading. Any ETA on a fix? Is it server-side or client-side? If it's client side I can try deleting and reloading so long as I don't lose my saved games...

If you remove the game application, it will remove all files including your save games. We are still looking into this issue, but I do not have an ETA on a fix at the moment.

I was tearing my hair out, ready to ask for a full refund after buying the IOS version. Saw a post on the forum that worked for me.

I was trying with 3g, and over 2 different wireless connections with around 70mbs per second.

If your wifi disconnects even for a second, the download fails. And I think soms cacheing issues make future attempts unstable?

    So try this:

-Turn off your phone, unplugg the power, WAIT for 20 seconds for the memory to fully clear (this seems to be a problem to stopping future attempts?)
    - Then boot your phone up, open itunes on the phone to make sure you are connected with the account that purchased the app
    - Make sure you are on a STABLE wifi or mobile network connection
    - Log into the game, try the download again

Worked for me first time after 24 hours of repeated download failures, and I managed to grab all 3 extra episodes in about 5 mins - phew!

If it fails again, follow the above process and try again. It's not ideal, but it beats spending money and having nothing to show for it.

Would be good if anyone can post to confirm if this works for others?

What you mentioned sort of worked for me. Deleted the game from my phone, re installed and was able to download 2 and 3 but over 3G only. But lost my episode 1 game and had to allow the game to regenerate choices. Originally saved Carly in 1 and it saved Doug in 2 instead.

How long do you think it will take to fix this problem? I am having the same issue where the additional episodes won't download.

Hi, I'm having the same problem on my ipad2 as well. It's been days now and originally I had wd episode 1 and 2 before it crashed and I had to reinstall. Now, I can't seem to install episodes 2, 3 or 4. It starts downloading and 0% appears but nothing happens after. Is there a fix for this or can I get a full refund for the box set purchase?

You will need to shut down the game application, make sure you are logged into the account you used to purchase the Walking Dead, and then re-launch the game. When you do this, you will see a black screen for a few moments. This is normal as an update will need to download. Afterward you should be able to download episode 2 from the in-game episodes menu. If not, please restart the device and try again.

Unfortunately, we can not offer a refund for any purchases made through the iTunes store. You will need to contact iTunes Support for further assistance.

I've done everything you said but its still not working. The download doesn't move past 0%. I'm quite frustrated.

The problem is fixed for me. I was able to download episode 3 and 4 several days ago. I believe I just restarted the app after a few hours and all was good. I'm assuming the problem was server-side as I did not update my app (it was already the current version).

Anyone still having problems might want to see if they are running the latest app version.

By the latest app version, I assume you mean what's available on the App Store currently? I have updated my OS on ipad2 and have also been trying to uninstall and reinstall the app but nothing works. :/

Can I get my money back? I've purchased the box set but I can't download any new episodes, after installing and reinstalling the app and restarting my device a million times. Someone please respond.

MattP, I contacted iTunes support and they said to contact the developer if I've done everything (I.e., installing and reinstalling the app, restarting the device etc) and the issue is still unresolved. It is still unresolved and I would like a refund of the amount I've paid for the box set. Who can I contact in this instance?

good way to steal money from people and do nothing about downloading problems that have been there for months !!!!!!!!!!! ohh and no iphone 5 support wtf

cjao, I understand that you must be frustrated, but responding like that won't get you anywhere.

The issue is still ongoing, and it's not related to you. Please don't complain about other people's problems.

As mentioned, we cannot offer refunds for this product. It was purchased through iTunes, and we do not have access to any of Apple's systems or files. Any refund requests will need to go through the proper channels, starting with iTunes Support. Whether or not they offer a refund is at their discretion.
