  • Of course it'll be there. They won GOTY there last year, and I'd be a missed opportunity.

  • Don't have a link for twitch, sorry.

  • Does it have to be specifically for twitch? Because I'll be watching on VGXLIVE.com

Tonight's announcement is not related to TWD S2, but there might be something about it.
It has been leaked on neogaf, and it's (don't read it if you don't want to be spoiled!)

    GoT.

Great too hear they maybe make another game but ... they work hard on 2 making games in the schedule. How will the new schedule for the games be? 8-12 weeks? I hope not. :(

  • I don't mind if we don't get a trailer, I'd be happy with just a release date.

  • Ugh, I sure hope they don't bring up this Game of the Thrones crap right now when the hype is all around TWAU and TWD.

  • Trailer and release date!

Telltale isn't on the schedule, but there are five secret world premieres.

  • They better not do this until one of these series have ended tackling 3 games at once while they are already struggling to get wolf amoung us out in 2 months

  • Why the hell isn't it on Spike TV live?

Can't find an answer, sorry. Maybe TV was too limiting?

Within their more recent years, Telltale has been known to announce series a while before they dedicate a large team to working on them. Back in 2011 when they were only on the second episode of Back to the Future (with Jurassic Park also having been previously announced), they had a press event in early 2011 where they announced three whole games (including Walking Dead Season 1 and Fables) and two side projects (Puzzle Agent 2 and Hector), and a few months later even went on to announce yet another game (Law and Order). To put that in perspective, Fables was announced in February 2011 and we just got the first episode this October (although the game was initially announced for Q1 2012 before being delayed to add Walking Dead style gameplay).

Unless Telltale explicitly states a game is coming within a soon-to-be-released timeframe or otherwise implies they have a large team working on the game, I wouldn't worry. According to interviews and other articles about Telltale, they are known to have a small handful of people setting up the basic framework and early design for a game before having a larger team move onto the game when they start the bulk of the work.

  • Here :) It is the rumored Game Of Thrones series that people have been talking about for a while.
It will be based on the book and not the series.

I don't think it's going to be Season 2 related. Rumors indicate it's something else.

  • I'll say the same thing I said to someone else in the thread:

  • With Season 2 so close to it's release, Puzzle saying we get news this week or sooner, i am more than sure it's TWD S2 related.
