If it's one of season 1's characters, it would be really cool and also the most satisfying option for everyone if the person who showed up was… more either Lilly or Kenny depending on how Lee interacted with them in season one.
If you were supportive to Lilly, she went off with the vehicle and was able to survive whereas she didn't make it if you left her on the road.
About Kenny, he is "lost" to the herd no matter if you liked him or not, but wether he actually made it or not might depend on the will to live and self-esteem he had by the end of season one. (If you encouraged him to take care of the zombie kid in the attic, the game says that you "helped Kenny", if he went with you to save Clementine he might have found new self-esteem, or in the opposite case remorseful and useless).

The reason I am not at all sold on that being Christa is because she doesn't look like Christa. There is no resemblence except they are the sa… moreme gender.

Main suspect is Lily, and then Kenny, with Molly an outside possibility. When Clem looks at the person, she looks straight on, meaning the person is low down, possibly kneeling. And, the mystery person can't be Carver, because if it was the three cabin guys would have acted differently. From the trailer, it looked like they were just concerned with the fact that they didn't holster their guns and might be bandits/random group, maybe from Wellington or another camp. This Carver guy will be a big deal when he appears, so it might be Nate if it is a previously-known character
I honestly think it is the scavenger you found by the river. The way I see it, giving him water may have been his dying wish, and that's why Clementine says "I thought you were dead," whether you gave him water or not.

It could be Molly as well. Though it's very likely, if they brought back one person. That's she's going meet all of the people that didn't die, they would die in a more tragic way. Then some people from her group that fans like...like Luke would enter into season 3.

Lilly wouldn't really have that much of an impact on Clem. We haven't seen her since the beginning to middle of episode three. Clem never really spent much time with Lilly and never really interacted with her. While Kenny didn't really interact with her either, he did seem to genuinely care for the girl, and he was a friend of Lee's from the beginning. Molly doesn't make sense. If it's Christa I will feel cheated, because Clementine has no reason to believe that Christa is dead and the shock value would be rather low.
One rule of thumb is that if you don't actually see a character die on-screen, they're probably not dead in TWD universe. Kenny probably survived Savannah. Who knows what happened afterwards, but I do believe he survived. If he were being eaten by walkers, don't you think he would have been screaming? They made his death ambiguous for a reason. He's one of the more interesting characters in the series and I think bringing him back, if done right, could work out really really well.
I'm starting to lean away from my original thoughts now. I reckon it could be Christa's baby.
Think about it, we never see him.her die on screen, there's no mention of his/her whereabouts? Clementine was obviously there for the birth but no more details? What if the baby went rogue? branched out on his/her own and then took control of this group? Maybe started working for Carver too?
Although, Clementine did appear to be looking up at whoever she saw, not down. I bet this is because baby badass was up on a platform overlooking the troops
