LOL, there's already a discount on the season pass? Before the 2nd ep is released?
If true - what a way to fuck over your fanbase. No more TTG season pass pre-Ep 2 for me for all future releases.
Not to nitpick, but they already begin to give discounts on season passes (heck!, not only TWAU; TWD S2 season pass already have been put on -25% sale on Steam already). If they take a few months more, and offer some more discounts in meantime, even those guys who got chapter one for free, and then bought entire game, could begin to feel cheated. Like in: got game to play chapter 2 and further; and THEN two months later my buddy got it all on -50% discount and still got to play exactly on game of its release
Alright, so telltale is awful at time usage, we established that.Let's even say telltale is horrible. Telltale is horrible.
Irregardless, s… morehould we rush them on releasing it faster than they want or not?
Because when they release it. and if it's released bad, then the game will remain bad forever and no amount of time will change or fix that. The experience is worth the wait and the lack of wait is not worth the lack of experience.
Does it really have to be the 15th before its the mid of the month? So the first 2 weeks are early of a month, we have a single day that is the middle, and then 2 weeks which is late. Your logic is flawed mate.
The first week and a half, maybe even just the first week of a month could be considered early.
You basically reiterated what I said in my first comment. I consider the 10th to be the latest when you say early in a month, then up to the 20th as the middle, and anything later is late. BUT some people (probably Telltale) consider anything before the 15th to be "early".
At the end of the day its what Telltale thinks, not you or me.

I really enjoyed TWD S1, and the DLC. So when I saw TWAU, I jumped on the season pass. Now being a software developer myself, I know sometimes you just don't know when you're going to be done because you don't know what's causing the bug. But there should still be some communcation from TellTale, even if it's "We've got an issue with the next episode, but we're working on it". I saw TWD S2 on sale for 25% off during the Steam sale, but passed because TellTale seems to have gotten in over their head and refuses to acknowledge it. With the addition of the 2 new games they've announced (borderlands/game of thrones) they seem to be spread too thin. The experience now is making me/us gun shy from buying the next game, or at least waiting until it's actually finished.
TL;DR: Good games, but poor communication leading to lost sales and customer dissatisfaction.
Oh...and I almost forgot.
To all the people who are saying: "I'd rather have a late good episode than a bad episode on time", please STFU.
Don't justify a lack of preparation and a total absence of communication with a false dilemma.

I looked on twitter today. Tell Tale won the Studio of the year award. The director of PR for Tell Tale was nice enough to respond in a lengthy detail, which only adds fuel to the fire that they won't come on their forums, but they will re-tweet positive articles and responses. Regardless, expecting an update today on "Something"
Perhaps he can't. You can't simply justify Tell Tale total lack of Communication as a false dilemma. How much time, do they need exactly to make a game polished. Should we wait years, it just seems like an excuse for them not explaining the situation.
When TWAU ep. 1 came out I was so excited, even after the 5th playthrough. I really fell for the story as well as the atmosphere and used to think about this game day and night. The excitement is completely gone by now and I totally lost interest, thanks to the delay. I am still going to play ep. 2 but at this point I can't say that I am really looking forward to because so much time passed. What a fail of management, TT.

At this point, let's just make a RPG out of this thread...
Forum users, what should we do with GrandBlackHeart?
A) Get rid of him, he's a nuisance to the group.
Cut of his hands. He won't be able to comment.
C) Reason him. He's an active member of the forum and all opinions are valuable.

well, it's discount season on Steam. Even TWDS2 got a 25% reduction.

(and I would have to agree with such sentiment)
That's the one! It's truly fantastic.
Don't expect any news until the 10th...no later than the 14th. When telltale gives vague dates, they like to use up their whole time frame.
My gut says it was a huge bug. Things that Telltale has said during their AMA alludes to most of TWAU episodes being done.
"Later this month." January 31.
What can be considered "early January"?
As long as its before the halfway point of the month, its considered "early".
I purchased the season pass in december for TWAU and TWD S1,now I will not purchase for TWD S2
I'm gonna cry >_<

Still no news hey? I'll check back in another 3 months I guess..
Lol.. This is just silly.. I take it they haven't even said word 1 to the customers yet, hey? Nothing of value anyhow..
(an update about an update which was a future update on a possible update) Wth?
Just cuz...
context = everything.
still sticking with my new year's resolution though.
do someone know when the episode 2 come ?
Hello Telltale,
I see your communication skill didn't level up since the last time I came here.
Oh...and I almost forgot.

You have no more right to tell people to STFU then the people telling you to STFU. (Like me)
