The game is fun but without a little bit of planning ideas cant be shut down and confusion will happen. (Hence the great kenny living 4 days after being bitten debacle) not saying it should be a big thing this "Planning" but there needs to be some more
You're posts do matter and they are key to the story. if you want to leave, DO IT. i cant and i wont stop you. Just know that you will be missed and you are a good writer. i feel no remorse about planning and posting beforehand and i can tell you that ALL OF MY POSTS where plans i had in the beginning

While I understand if you set out some general guidelines for yourself to follow, I don't understand why you would create an entire story all on your own. This is a game about continuing upon other people's posts, so that's basically as far as you have to plan this out.
I would feel sad to see you go just because of this little argument, but if you really want to I won't be the one to stop you.

Found it a bit weird, but hey: we went for it and it was fine, never judged you. Just assuming that you have planned the thing with the doors ahead and then you put it in this IMO “inappropriate” situation. If you can’t deal with my little hint of critique then I can’ help you. But you should definitely calm down. Nobody is attacking you – I made the decision to let you guys go on without me for a while myself. And whenever I feel like writing I will come back, want it or not.

I really don't want you to leave because of this little disagreement we are currently having.
I've just made sure to read everything you have said VERY carefully and have come to the conclusion that you are in fact only setting out general guidelines. Which is fine to me. If I am completely fair I do have some idea of where I want the story to go. But, just like you, I adapt my guidelines to what gets added and move on from there, sometimes even removing entire pieces altogether.
I just hope we can get this whole mess sorted out without anyone else leaving.

All we've been doing for the last 20+ posts is arguing, arguing and more arguing. And about what? People planning ahead? While I understand the fact that people are worried about others planning too much, I don't have the feeling it will affect our thread as a whole. Sure, we might have a few inconsistencies and unfitting plot-twists. But is adding a rule, or telling someone they can't plan ahead really going to solve anything?
People will always have an idea of where they want, or at least where they expect the story to go. And I think everyone can agree with me when I say that we have all had a plan at least once since they started contributing to this beautiful story we have created together.
This is all I have to say on the matter, will someone please continue?
I am going to back off from this game for an undefinite time. I love this game very much as I've been a devoted contributor, but I feel like I… more've been investing too much time and heart for this and like the story is predetermined, as if my posts don't matter in the end - that really worries me, actually. While I understand if you set out some general guidelines for yourself to follow, I don't understand why you would create an entire story all on your own. This is a game about continuing upon other people's posts, so that's basically as far as you have to plan this out.
I would feel sad to see you go just because of this little argument, but if you really want to I won't be the one to stop you.
@TheMissus I'm really sorry to see you go. You have really improved your writing since the beginning of this thread. I see you as one of my best (internet) friends, so I hope you will come back later.

The only misshap i remember was my first post witch was not prewritten. i think ahead. your "Set in stone" thing is bullshit. i have an idea just like you have yours. we do write stores together and i accept that. my post fits in the story. its been drastically changed to fit the story. im not setting in stone what you do in the future, im adapting to changes and planning ahead. hell kill clementine. turn bryan into spongebob. set fire to melody's hair i dont care, my posts will adapt. and they (Most of the time) make sense. BTW if your going to be like that then leave. but in my opinion thats the easy way out and you will forever be remembered as a

I repeat: I did not say your stuff is „bad“ – I said it sometimes did not match with the previous post (e.g. don’t remember which ep. it was: the group had been in the woods for the secret weapon stash and in your post there was suddenly a door in the middle of the forest, the one with the doors with a male and female icon on it.). Found it a bit weird, but hey: we went for it and it was fine, never judged you. Just assuming that you have planned the thing with the doors ahead and then you put it in this IMO “inappropriate” situation. If you can’t deal with my little hint of critique then I can’ help you. But you should definitely calm down. Nobody is attacking you – I made the decision to let you guys go on without me for a while myself. And whenever I feel like writing I will come back, want it or not.

First i said there where PORTABLES not random doors PORTABLES. this fits in with the post that i am going to post HENCE WHY I PLANNED IT!!! We cant ignore this. the community is divided over planning and i WILL NOT back down until SomeGuye gives his verdict. no matter what. it may seem trivial fighting over a little post but over it i have had my writing insulted and that is something that i Wont come back from. i know you where not meaning to say that and where saying it in the nicest way possible but a little is a lot. I really don't want you to leave because of this little disagreement we are currently having.
I've just made sure to read everything you have said VERY carefully and have come to the conclusion that you are in fact only setting out general guidelines. Which is fine to me. If I am completely fair I do have some idea of where I want the story to go. But, just like you, I adapt my guidelines to what gets added and move on from there, sometimes even removing entire pieces altogether.
I just hope we can get this whole mess sorted out without anyone else leaving.

All we've been doing for the last 20+ posts is arguing, arguing and more arguing. And about what? People planning ahead? While I understand the fact that people are worried about others planning too much, I don't have the feeling it will affect our thread as a whole. Sure, we might have a few inconsistencies and unfitting plot-twists. But is adding a rule, or telling someone they can't plan ahead really going to solve anything?
People will always have an idea of where they want, or at least where they expect the story to go. And I think everyone can agree with me when I say that we have all had a plan at least once since they started contributing to this beautiful story we have created together.
This is all I have to say on the matter, will someone please continue?

I am making a special request.
If no one continues the story in the next two hours, I would like to write the final post of episode 4. I know it has just been my turn, but the story is at a stop due to the recent arguing among contributors. And I would love to get the ball rolling again.
Do it, I'm not writing because I have no idea what to write next, and knowing people around here, somebody will argue against it and make me feel like shit. It's almost as if you can't write without people arguing.
