  • Best of luck. Not to get preachy, but it's a lot of hard work and I often feel like it doesn't work particularly well. Then there are other days where everything comes together and I know life is good.

But enough of that! This is a discussion about demographics in TWAU. I'm hoping that someone older than me will post their details of how they play and whether they read the series.

  • I'm going to say Males are even Higher then that.. maybe like 75 or 80%

I don't count a gamer as playing Jewel Rush or something like that.

is it 70% of video gamers who are male?

  • Trolls. Trolls everywhere!

Yeah,i guess we should ignore them. They are downvoting every single post.Let's just...be their opposite.Be cool.

  • Under 16, never read Fables, PC, male, played TWD first and Australian.

  • 14,male, I played TWD before TWAU on xbox 360 and I plan to read the fable comics after finishing the first season of twau (first post Btw :) )

  • That's a little too much on the percentage, don't you think?

Started reading Fables thanks to the game, but didn't continue because I find the comics to be far too dull, despite the first story arc being similar in structure to TWAU.
    PC (a laptop).
Played TWD prior to TWAU. Hell, I played it as it was coming out.
I'm from an ex-Yu country and that's all I'm saying.

  • That mods are normally quite good at stopping that sort of crap, maybe the just haven't seen the thread?

  • Female, 17, Dutch, playing on Mac. I played TWD before TWAU, but I like both of them, maybe TWAU a little bit more at the moment. Haven't read the comics yet, might do so if I can find the time. I'm surprised to see so many nationalities here, didn't expect that :)

  • Games have a way of bringing people together, much like comics.

D'you know, Tex Willer, a popular Italian comic, is doing great in Brazil? I ain't shittin' you.

Well, this thread is different, i like it! Here goes:

    Age:19

Comics: I got to say i probably wouldn't have heard of Fables if it wasn't for Telltale. After playing the first ep of TWAU several times and due to the unexpected long delay, i decided to buy the first 5 volumes.

Platform: It's PC for me. I also have a PS3

Gender: Add another male to the list. Also, it's kind of interesting to see how many girls also play the game. And no, i don't think games should only be played by men, relax!

The Walking Dead: First game i brought from Telltale. I was instantly hooked, just like TWAU i decided to buy the comics for this as well! When the first season was over, i checked some of TT older stuff as well: Sam&Max, Back To The Future etc.... And also made sure i checked TWAU. So yeah, i guess like a lot of people over here i owe TWD.

  • 26 Year old American Male

    Plays on PC

Started with TWD and then got into TWAU

Haven't read Fables, I have never been into comic books but TWAU has me considering to pick them up.

  • Age group A, from the UK, played TWD before TWAU and I play on a laptop. I don't read any comics. Oh and I'm a male.

  • Man, 24, Murica, PS3, Started with the TWD, have not and will never read any comic book.

  • I think guys make too big of a deal about "girl gamers". Yes, I am a girl but I shouldn't be classified as a different kind of gamer based on my gender. I'm a gamer, just like any one else. As for the disliking, it could be because they aren't sure enough in their own masculinity to admit that you don't need a penis to play video games. There, I said it. And thank you for defending me :)

  • I don't have anything to prove, especially not to you. And speaking of maturity, making hostile comments about how you perceive me (which couldn't be more wrong, by the way) doesn't reflect well on yours.
