Tyresse was in a similar position so I don't think it would be poor writing, I will be ok with him geting out alive or if he died.

  • By my comment I meant that shouldn't the Walkers have noticed Glenn screaming and tried to grab his head or something? They've done that in the past why not at this moment?

The expression on his face seems to indicate sorrow, not pain. Plus, we don't actually see him get bitten nor do we see how Nick's body lands.

  • Woah woah woah! I didn't even realize the possibility of AMC pulling a Kenny! I totally thought Glenn was dead! I'll still probably think that anyways until proven wrong, though! Really good episode, though! I loved the story of the group trying to make it back to Alexandria. RIP Tobin :(

  • It wont be carol, at least it shouldn't be, I think the reason that scene is so awful is that they kill one of the few characters that was still trying to be good, Carol being killed would be bad but shes arguably the most morally questionable in the group now.

  • I hope glenn is dead, then next they can rid the show of Maggie. I would rather for Maggie to have died first, but this works also.

"90". More like 60minutes episode and 30 minutes commercials xd.

So, yes. "90" minute Morgan flashback episode. SUPER HYPED

So it looks like next week is going to focus on Morgan before he found Rick again, and it's being written by Scott Gimple. Also, did they say next week would be 90 minutes?

Glenn's not dead. Oh and anyone know what was written on Michonne's arm again? I forgot and it's bothering me haha

  • I'm curious to see how Maggie will react... Maybe she will lose it like Rick did when Lori died :|

  • I think Glenn is alive. I called bullshit as soon as I saw no one munching on his face.

I want him alive because I ship GlennxLucille but I will be irritated with the show as a whole if he did survive.

  • Thank you! so many people have been hating on him, it's nice to see someone give the character some recognition as an actual human being. I actually feel that he had redeemed himself at this point. it wasn't like he intended for Glenn to fall with him, and neither of them was getting out of there alive anyway.

A lot of people let a character's actions blind them. People hate a character because they got someone they liked killed, and after that point, most people give up trying to look past that and understand the motivations and reasons for the person's actions, all they see is an asshole that got people killed, and not the actual character/person underneath that. Almost solely thanks to this episode alone, Nicholas became an interesting yet tragic character. He was definitely showing improvement and growth in the first episode of the season, but not to the same level as he did here.

He really was trying to turn things around this episode, and I don't think Glenn misplaced his trust in Nicholas at all. He had all the potential to become a better person and to make amends for his past actions. He finally begins to accept what he did before, and is trying his best to try and move on from the past and learn to live with it, despite the guilt that is visibly crushing him. I really liked the scene where he put down Will, one of the people he left behind on a run. You could really tell that it was something he heavily regretted and left a major impact on him, something that I think he almost certainly agonized over long after he left him behind. You can hear some definite pain in his voice when he's trying to explain who he is and what happened to him, and he looked like he was on the verge of tears when he was kneeling over him, and watching Glenn try to convince him that he isn't that person anymore was pretty sad, in all honesty. A scene like that is enough to redeem him in my eyes. The way I see it, redemption doesn't mean he has to sacrifice his life in some noble way in order to make up for what he did, redemption is him showing true strength and growth as a person, proving to himself and everyone else that he is not the same scared man that he was before.

It isn't Nicholas' fault that the plan went bad, nor was it his fault that they got cornered by walkers. It's just a bad situation that was out of his control at the end of the day. Just like Ben, Nicholas got screwed by fate and bad luck, and nothing more.

My baby is gone. I will miss you Glenn.

But I do have a lot of hope that he is alive.

He wasn't in Talking Dead. Usually when a character like that dies, they're on Talking Dead without a doubt. He also wasn't in the memorial. His name wasn't mentioned at all, and Chris was acting pretty odd as if he was trying to hold info back. And one of the main reasons is because some of the episodes were looked into and people found that Steven Yeun does appear in the next episodes (apparently). People suggest that the death was a hallucination or he crawls under the dumpster, being covered in blood so the zombies don't think he's alive. Another thing is that one of the producers mentioned that he would be in a new episode again whether it be a flashback, dream, etc. So there is a chance.

But of course i could be wrong about all of this and he actually is dead fml

  • Or they will follow the comics and Maggie will attempt to hang herself.

  • In the comics, Michonne cut off Morgans arm with her sword covered in walker blood because he got bit. Either Morgan died because of that, or the blood loss. But I was always under the impression that he died because the zombie blood got into his blood. Rick's in for some bad shit.

Nah, the knife cut his hand when he stabbed the walker. He got walker blood in it though, so I'm not sure what's gonna happen.

I have my doubt about Glenn's 'death'. Shouldn't he be vomiting blood after having his intestines torn out of him, which just so happens to be torn out of his chest and not his stomach? I don't buy it.

It seems like a major oversight to have Glenn killed in that manner, and it's not like the show to make that kind of error, so I'm very confident that Glenn is not dead.

  • he will be the walking dead kappa kappa kappa...

  • I respect Gimple a lot for basically saving the show after season 3 and even with Glenn's survival, he's still miles better than Mazzara... but that's some bullshit he's slinging with that point about Carol. Whatever happened to Carol was completely off-screen and we didn't see her get attacked. Everyone knew it was just assumption that Carol was dead. Glenn, on the other hand, was shown being pinned down by a herd. Nicholas' body is clearly not covering every inch of him. He should be getting chewed up as well.

He better have one HELL of a good explanation for this.

  • He's rationalizing Carol's return, meaning Glenn is SO coming back!
