FIX FOR PLAYSTATION USERS (possibly others)
If you have the season pass but in game it still says episode 2 is "coming soon," quit the ga… moreme and go to the playstation store (or whatever platform marketplace you're using) search for minecraft story mode and find episode 2 and manually download!
I did the same but everytime it finishes downloading, it asks me to restart to main menu and install but the when I click yes it restars and asks me to restart again nonstop. I need help.

My kids are set to login as non admin user, but it turns out with non-admin users, Minecraft Story mode does not detect ep2.
I had to grant kids user with admin rights, login again then voila, it allow to install ep2.
Hi, I have similar problem.
I bought game in Apple store, bought Episode 2 too, PLAYED it, but than all of sudden I have message - episode 2 is downloades, do you want to insrale it?..by pressing yes, menu restarts and..nothing..I get the same message.
Although having save from episode 2 I cannot install it again.
Any clues?
Same problem with PC. I have downloaded the patch for Episode 2, it says 100% downloaded then always "Error Timed Out". Very frustrating. I have admin status, it doesn't make any difference.
Well, I bougt this for my iPad Mini...no Mac or PC patch will solve that. I'm still getting a "Timed out connecting or waiting for response from server" error, even though the download said it reached 100% for episode 2.
I downloaded the game on my Phone which is Android btw. I purchased it through the amazon app store. The game works fine but when I bought ep 2 It said purchased and I was charged for it. But when I started up the game it keeps telling me to purchase ep 2 and wont let me play. So after trying for awhile I eventually said screw and attempted to purchase ep 2 again but it wont let me buy it again it keeps saying you already own this Item. Please help me fix this problem.
The Episode 2 download reached 100% on our MacBook... but then got the "Timed Out" message a few times. Eventually, after restarting MSM a few times it finally worked. Very frustrating, however...

Things I also tried without apparent effect: Patch: states already updated. Reinstall: I did once. Turn on Cloud Save: this had me log in (helped?) Restarting: The first 9 times didn't seem to help, even running as admin. But that 10th time worked.

My episode 3 had glitches with Jesse. He was looking like Jeff the killer. His nose was in the head and his mouth is read, just like Jeff the killer. Help!!!!!

Try searching the playstation store for minecraft story mode episode 2, rather than downloading it in game!
When i download pather its tell Minecraft story mode already up to date!!!!!

GUYS, LETS TRY RUNNING IT IN COMPATABLILITY MODE FOR 7/8/8.1. THAT MIGHT WORK.

Follow the power cycle instructions on this link. Make sure you only log in with the master account for the xbox one, put the game in and it will show it available for download
