What to call *******?

I'm sure you've heard that Maggie is pregnant but the hardest task that she will have to do is what to name it. Think of a boys and a girls name ( I went for Cory because my name is Cory :p and it works both ways).

  • Hershel Greene, as that's his name in the comics.

  • Little baby Hershel.

  • Hershel for boy, Beth for girl.

  • Another Useless Character Greene

  • Obviously Aaron/Erin.

Nah, but I feel it'll be Hershel or Beth.

  • well that's gonna be a difficult "Happy Birthday" singalong

    Omid Jr.

  • Then we name it Omid.

  • I worked with a girl named Hershell , which was pronounced Her-shell instead of the male "Hersh-ull." It would be a good name for a girl. If a boy and Glenn doesnt make it, name him Glenn. Or Hershey works for either gender. Beth could be a middle name.

  • your missing a vital piece of TV Canon info: In the AMC's Walking Dead, Glen is given the last name Rhee. That means that this baby may be named Hershel Rhee in the show.

In the Comics, the reason that the baby is given the name Hershel Green is because in the comics, Rhee isn't canonned or mentioned in the comics. Therefore, would be weird to given someone a name you never heard of.

  • I would say Hershel, but walking dead and Robert kirkman has done so many remixes that it will probably be a girl

  • Glenn if he does not come back or if not Hershel (like the comics)/Otis/Alvin junior junior :3

If a girl, which AMC might do to mix it up, maybe Beth. Probably not Lori as they didn't know each other that much :/

  • I guess they'll just name him Hershel like in the comics.

  • i'm positive they'll name him Hershel. like in the comic.

but if they decide to switch it up and make the baby a girl, they'll probably name her beth

  • Hey buddy, You were the one who got on social media before seeing a new episode of the most popular show in america. You have nobody to blame but yourself.

  • Hershel? I'm guessing Hershel.

  • I believe you mean:

"Then we name her Jenevee. I don't care."

  • I kinda disagree. Even though we talk about the show and sometimes the comics here, this is meant for Telltale's The Walking Dead. I think any other media form of it shouldn't have any blatant spoilers. Not trying to offend or anything, I'm just giving my two cents!

With all that said though, what??? I have watched the most recent episode of the most popular show in America and I didn't hear anything about a baby!

  • There's a huge spoiler in the title, people can scroll past that going to a different section and see it. It should be fixed.

  • Hope it's a girl, and that they name it Beth. That'll be cute.

Pretty much irrelevant. This board is a discussion of TellTales' The Walking Dead, if we are to get technical, it should be in the OT section or TellTale Talk. I come here to discuss the game, and telling people to remove themselves from social media just to avoid spoilers is quite ignorant. I've avoided it quite easily up until this point, where such a random discussion in such a random place feels the need to arise. The Walking Dead or not, if you have watched the show and played the game you would know they are completely different interpretations of Kirkman's work, and it doesn't have as much place here. If you notice all other threads on this board discussing the show are spoiler free, they may mention names but never obvious instances or scenarios, e.g., "Who is going to betray Rick?", "--- Episode Discussion", "*** is dead? (TV Show spoilers)." It's pretty easy to work around and suit everyone who visits here.

  • That's fair. Still though, if someone is pissed off about a spoiler they shouldn't post a comment and whine to the OP letting them know how upset they are, they should just report the post and move on.

    How is that racist?

    Hillbilly.

  • It's a slang term used for people born in southern parts of America.

  • I know what it means. But it's still not technically racist , since people born in the southern part of America aren't a race.

So, if Maggie is pregnant, and Negan is coming...

My fellow comic book readers will know what this means. I'm a bit sad.

Well, generalising what 'Indians' do would be racist (e.g. 'Indians only care about money' or 'all indians are poor', whatever), yet Indians aren't in and of themselves a race (as that'd include Bangladeshis etc.) so it's not really that simple.

I know what it means. But it's still not technically racist , since people born in the southern part of America aren't a race.
