Rick & The Group (TWD Michonne)

So we all know this is taking place between Issue 126 & 139. (As stated in the game description). And the intro and menu showing comic panels.

So I was wondering if they'd name drop anyone - make references to Negan when talking to people like Randall such as "There are people out there worse than you" Something along those lines anyway. As we know already whats she's been through.

Names like Ezikiel might be dropped aswell. She says she's 'alone' Well she did in my playthough due to choices - but Rick, Carl and the others are her family. They're as good as blood. With what they've been through and all.

Looking forward now towards Episode 3 , I was wondering whether it'd end with us maybe seeing Rick in Telltale game form (Briefly). Just something like that would be awesome and make it feel more linked.

I'm just posting thought's I had ------ Anyone got any take's on this?

    I'm thinking that this might potentially be a reference, but during the first six minutes when Michonne beheads that walker, it plays out very similar to how the Governor beheads Tyreese. Even down to doing it one-handed, with multiple chops to the back of the neck.

    But yeah, seeing a Telltale version of Rick or Ezekiel would be great. But it seems like Telltale's still fairly intent on keeping their distance from the comic events, as far as name-dropping goes at least.

    Pretty cool spot actually - that's just a slight one tho. Unless telltale tell you that it is actually one.

    I don't think there will be any major cameos or name dropping as Telltale want the story to be easy for non comic readers to understand and not spoil too much for people but i think it would be cool to see Rick's silhouette in the distance if the game ends while Michonne is approaching Alexandria like she did in issue 139.

    True, imagine if the game ended with that pirate pose like in the comics while getting near Alexandria with perhaps someone from the crew saying "Home sweet home!"

    Great for comic readers and somewhat satisfactory ending for non-readers!

    I would like that as an ending, would satisfy most people I believe. Rick and Cowboy hat Carl silhouette :)

    all i want is for episode 3 to end with the shot of rick watching over the harbor as michonne comes back is that too much to ask for xD

    That's funny you say that, because I mod that game.. I've done a few characters but stopped, was waiting for michonne to come out lol I've done Wyatt, ( a really crappy) Mark, Carley, Lowell, Justin with a different outfit, and Lilly, who also sucks because she's really small and shouldn't be.

    I believe I already found a nod to Rick when you decide to take the ladder route on the Mobjack. If you choose to let Pete open the door, he pretends to be having his arm mauled by walkers and Michonne can respond angrily, "I nearly cut your hand off!", referring to Rick losing his hand. The look on her face convinced me she was thinking back to it, or maybe I'm just reading too into it.

    I think it's definitely possible we might see Rick. Maybe by the end of episode 3 it will show Michonne coming back home. Where Rick is then waiting for her at the docks. That's just my opinion. :)
