The Brutality of the Episode (Give No Shelter spoilers)

Jeez, this episode was just off the charts brutal.
Stopping Sam's bleeding was also horrific, and I haven't seen how Randall dies but I'm sure that's terrible.

Yeah I was just talking to this prior to this Lil thread. I'm glad they listened to us. The realism of the gore was a plus in this episode. I think without it the episode would have been very boring and bland. Can't go too wrong by getting more raunchy
Pretty horribly, that's how. I mean, Carver's injuries in Season 2 were probably worse in terms of what actually happened, but the injuries that Randall gets are much more detailed looking because of the higher production qualities, which makes it more painful to watch in my eyes.
I guess I'll have to see if for myself. May God have mercy on my soul.
That, and the fact that he's conscious through most of it, in comparison to Carver who's out cold by the second hit.
Yeah Carver's a lightweight in comparison
In all honesty though, the brutality and violence of this episode alone almost make up for the short length. Almost.
Randall's hand clamp, damn that looked painful. Kept him alive though, though it'd be better if he was still alive to try and convince Norma to not attack.
John's face being blown off and the flare gun death made me cringe the most. Wow that was brutal.
It was really brutal compaired to some of the previous walking dead episode, the moment with the flair gun was a WTF moment.
John:
The right side dude:
Bashing Randall's face, many many times...
Smashing his fingers...
And finally...
(I'm not proud of killing Randall and i know i'm probably "fucked".)
The flare gun was a brutal as it was hilarious.
I was cringing so much when I put Randall's hands in the vice. I couldn't bring myself to tighten it, despite kind of wanting to.
Joe's death reminded me immensely of Denise's recent death on the TV show just way more violent, killed mid-conversation by a character we should have killed earlier.
Sam's operation was pretty awful as well especially seeing her little brother's reactions as their sister is being burned with a poker.
"Now all aboard the 6:45 train to Nightmare Town."
Just how I like it (I need help)
The smoke and sound effect was cringe-worthy—in a positive way, I guess—but after I realized that the smell of burning flesh was filling the entire room, I had to pause the playthrough I was watching. I had to pause the game again when I was playing. Good job, Telltale.
