  • Well what i was dreading happened. no not Negan smashing the fuck out of someones skull, a fucking cliffhanger ( btw im not cussing cuz im pissed; i am pissed but im not cussing because of that, im just making up for Negan Kappa :v). im just gonna keep it short, maybe a little short rant. the episode was awesome. the shit with the group had me on the edge of my sit even though there wasnt much action. the tension was fucking great. can someone tell me who the hell that guy that was hanged was? was he from Hilltop? did we even met him before? well fuck it. Steven Ogg was awesome lol, hopefully he is a much bigger character he was bad-ass. TBH idk what to make of the whole carol-morgan shit. yes they showed the future, The Kingdom, but overall it was ehh to me. but it still was good enough for me to want to find out what is truly going on with carol. if she just dies next season what a way to ruin all the awesome development she got. after the mid season premier she just became annoying. well JDM knocked it outta the fucking park! knew he was gonna be great for the role. the episode was fucking awesome but im conflicted... idk if gets a 8/10 or a 9/10. carol's story line was dog shit, it added nothing to the plot just meeting up the kingdom people.

but if im letting my rage get the better of me it would be a fucking 2/10. thats how fucking idiotic that cliffhanger was. Utter dog shit on puppy-monkey-baby barf.

that is why TWD will never be great like GoT, Breaking Bad or even better call saul. a show that just literally just started and its already leagues above walking dead.

  • I have no idea how to feel. That was... It was disappointing that it ended in a cliff hanger, yes. But Jeffery Dean Morgan gave the absolute best performance I have ever seen from a villain. He brought Negan to life perfectly. I was shaking, my palms were sweaty, my heart was pounding and I was genuinely terrified throughout that entire scene. And while it was disappointing as fuck that they pulled the cliffhanger, the scene was still executed so fucking perfectly. The Kingdom thing is fucking awesome, the episode was perfectly written, the actors were so genuine, the cinematography as always was amazing, the soundtrack was fuckawesome, and it even got me scared that Carol was gonna die. They made me care about Carol of all people. Just... I'm so conflicted. It's either the best way to end the season or the absolute fucking worse. Just... fuck fuck fuckity fuck fuck fucking fucker! 0/0! No rating! I can't say shit about this! This is the best television show I have watched, ever!

  • I feel the same. Sadly it seems this will just turn into another controversy.

    Of course it will

  • Maybe. We still haven't seen Season 7.

  • Its sad really. The worse part is WELL GET TO SEE IT. They confirmed season 7. Its happening. Most people will honestly feel bad about how they overreacted.

  • no they fucked up the cliffhanger is the reason they fucked up, the scene was great up until that point, they could have ended it with Negan walking away saying his ta ta line while showing who got killed and it still would have been a better cliffhanger this is just pathetic

Well now, doesn't that reaction sound mighty familiar to something

(This is meant to be a joke by the way

or maybe more like satire, I dunno)

No, no, no you don't. You can't possibly compare this to season 2. The finale would have been perfect without the last scene. Its nothing like season 2.

Usually not one to judge an entire episode based on one thing, but that ending was pretty garbage so I dunno. Can't say I didn't expect it though since AMC does a cliffhanger like every finale, lmao.

  • edited April 2016

yea no doubt it was a decent episode up until that point (not meaning it ruined the whole episode) but honestly they can't have expected anything positive to come out of turning one of the most iconic scenes in the whole franchise into a shitty cliffhanger to try to get ratings up for the premiere, they deserve all the hate they are getting right now imo

I meant the specifically quoted part

People freaking out about specific things and calling it bad because of it, whilst ignoring any of the good parts

Look, say what you want about S2's quality, but so many people focused in on what it did wrong to the point where, to an outsider looking in, you'd think they didn't do a single thing right at all

And besides, like I said, it was a joke made at the expense of the game to a degree. I mean, at this point, making deprecating jokes is a lot easier than actually trying to defend it, because that shit gets really daunting. Give it a few weeks, and you'll probably be feeling like I do about people's reactions to S2

  • A bit of both... I love TWD with all my heart, it's my favorite thing in the world, and believe me when I say it really hurts to say I didn't like this Season at all. I didn't feel it, not like past Seasons where I'd get chills and get emotional almost every episode. And the cliffhangers in 6x08 and 6x16 were the worst things I've ever seen from TWD... I'm gonna continue watching, of course, to be honest it's the only show I see, but I felt awful during this Season.

  • He's just saying people may call it bad for 1 thing they did wrong aka the ending for this episode, and a few things for season 2, mostly the story. But, this finale was amazing till that point. Especially when Rick's group ran into the saviors a whole lot, and Morgan shooting that guy. But now people are saying the episode sucked because of the last scene, and now those who haven't seen the episode might not bother because someone simply told them it sucked, and may or may not mention it was just the ending that bothered them.

we should have known, its AMC after all: AMC= Always More Cliffhanger. Kappa :v

  • Did they really have to do a cliffhanger? : /

  • Utterly shit and destroyed a fantastic scene that could have been one of the best ever on the show for cliffhanger. Negans actor was great, the build up all episode was great and then they ruined it.

  • Thanks AMC for ruining one of the most important scenes in the series for the sake of a shitty cliffhanger. Fuck off
