As long as Negan doesn't kill Alpha, I am happy with how the story goes.
By the way, how are we going to call Alpha if Negan or another whisperer overthrows her? Former Alpha? Lydia's mother? "That chick?"
Also Alpha doesn't seem to be the person to give up her leadership. Evident to her murdering her own to keep the 'crying' secret. Not sure how'd she would take to Negan wanting to be boss or joint boss
I honestly think the comic has had some good foreshadowing to this moment, like when Alpha was crying in the woods, got caught crying by a fellow whisperer, and killed him while justifying the killing by saying he challenged her role of alpha and lost. I think the cover is the capturing the moment of when her opponent, Negan, has taken the Alpha role (killing her). Negan instantly acquires thousands of soldiers (that ginormous horde that Alpha showed Rick) and can pick up right where he left off in "all out war," killing Rick Grimes and his accomplishments.
I feel like it's a trick.. I have a feeling Negan is going to sneak his way into this group and persuade Alpha he wants Rick dead.. But in the end Negan will turn on alpha and help Rick and the gang kill them all.. Gaining back Ricks trust and letting him stay in Alexandria.
I don't know. Carl says he'd kill him if given the chance which had a negative impact on Negan in some light. He's already proven he doesn't have an issue with killing children
Did anyone else get heavy Andrew and Dexter vibes from Connie and Kelly? The last panel could possibly be foreshadowing for something to come, although I'd prefer Magna's group to have an original sub-plot.

I agree. I believe she has the potential of becoming a central character some day—such as Andrea, Michonne Maggie, Eugene and Jesus—and considering that she looks like she has an important role in Dwight's army, and that Luke mentioned that she was the one who kept them all alive… totally a leader archetype. Perhaps she will become Rick's second in command, which would be interesting, since Andrea is away at the Hilltop, and when Michonne came back from her trip, she asked Rick if "Andrea have something to worry about," and all this would bring even more conflict into the story. I'm not suggesting that she'll become his love interest though.
Yeah After hearing how Rick talked to michonne about Andrea he'd never cheat. I would like to see Carl take over sanctuary and now seeing Negan back in the picture would be interesting.
Magna seems very loyal. I like that, I think she'll become important soon, it's been focusing alot on Negan and Whisperers laterly, Carl hasn't even said anything for 4 issues, yet to see the kingdom either - if I remember correctly

This is seriously creepy though, the trouble these 2 will cause
"Queen and King", these two together will make a interesting couple :P
I have only read to Issue 150, but I couldn't resist not looking. I don't regret it.
This is glorious, all hail Negan.
Lucille is probably real upset right now...
Plot Twist: Its Rick under the Walker skin
This is rather unexpected...
I suppose Negan really have the charms.
Negan might be happy either way haha
Cover could be misleading... But if this image is true. Holy hell the communities well get some trouble their way
I hated the cover... But the story can be good... But i would like to see Negan going to the Sanctuary

Beta? Idk

I can sense a Alpha vs Negan showdown and Negan winning.
But instead of killing her, he's gonna use her to have his revenge on Rick and the community. Hence, "Queen and King".
Or maybe something completely different, I'm curious to find out.
Hopefully its another misleading cover and alpha is dead. Or thats someone else entirely
If the cover isn't misleading. Everyone is FUCKED.

Kiss her kiss her kiss her!

I dunno, I'm not sure he likes rick and carl. He respects them sure which i more than he does anyone else but liking them I'm not sure
Thread: #156
Who else can't wait
There's a thread for this
HOW DID THIS GET HERE
Either Negan x Alpha is gonna happen, or Negan's gonna kill Alpha. If the former, everyone is FUCKED.
It's called merging.

Yeah that's a good point, loved how Magna stepped up. Would love to see more of her, considering she took us into 'A new beginning'

I think so too, it'd be a great plot twist.
I saw this coming. I swear to god.
