Clem Loosing a Finger is Determinant!!!
A few minutes ago, IGN uploaded a new interview with TTG where they said that choices made in past seasons have the potential to change her outlook on the world, her attitude, how many fingers she has.....
Need I even explain?

I bet if you go alone you lost a finger, but if you went to Howes or Wellington, it's fine.

Speaking of the finger, I remember there being a small discussion in one of the older threads from like a year or two ago about Clem possibly loosing one regardless of the cause. Nice little detail Telltale added tbh.

Oh yeah, and Clementine somehow prevented dying from the bite and bandaging her finger on her own?
That is really cool to learn, but I hope choices having an effect is a little more than that. I also am hoping the timeskip is handled differently than S2. Give us a little more to play out, not 10-15 minute intro followed by 2-3 year time skip.

Remember how in Season 1 she cut her finger? Now she's at risk of losing one XD

Clementine shows up, her voice talking about what has happened for the past few months as she is walking, Jane or Kenny at her side, or she's alone, AJ clutched in her hands as she is protecting him in her own community. She looks up, waving at Javier. Her ring finger is cut off.
And then I restart the entire game.
You can start this season this season without playing the first two... Our choices better be worth something!
Imagine if all the worthless choices would have some effect.
Did you hold the baby in Episode 4? No? Too bad, AJ remembers and bites your finger off.
You know that babies take quite a bit of time to grows teeths and they aren't strong enough to take a finger off, right?
You could do the same thing with Season 2...

I was surprised by that, but let's be real, a door with 0 maintenance for over 2 years and 10+ zombies hitting on it for hours... She might even had too much efford to put it down...
Zombie babies are weeker than babies... ( Damaged muscles that are used to supply energy ), they wouldn't magically grow teeths and if somehow it had enough strenght to do it, I don't see how it would 'only' destroy one of the middle fingers, which are even hard to reach without eating the previous one aswell
Im guessing Clem is either going to lose her finger if she was alone or stayed with Kenny.
Or maybe a huge twist, if you let the family in, they are really sick fucks and cut off Clem's finger right there.

Plot Twist:...maybe AJ eated her finger because he was hungry and there was no formula around...
I think his first example was about Winston (the "Jesus, are you fuckin' kidding me?" guy).
The missing finger looks and probably is recent in that trailor. I mean TT gotta show us what happened right? Anyway, for people saying it's baby AJ, he would be a toddler by now. So he will have teeth, making it plausible for him to somehow be the one to bite Clem's finger.
Yeah, they have to grow, therefore he doesn't have it yet ( Come on, babies even have to eat baby formula because they doesn't have teeths to eat it )

Maybe her finger can get cut off depending on if you piss off whoever the antagonist is. I dunno. That's how I imagined it at least.
This theory still doesn't make a lot of chance; She keeping the finger or not is even determinant ( According to the end you choosed ), and you keep AJ on all of the endings
I could see how Clem losing a finger is determinant, If you recall we had the same option with Lee in Season 1 when he was bit on the arm by a walker, we were given the option to amputate but of course we know that did not end well . But thankfully this season there is hope that our choices do matter in the end.
You have a point but at the same time it doesn't have to be recent. It could have happened fairly recently to the ending of season two. The reason for it still being wrapped up could be she just doesn't like the look of it.
If it was recent to the teaser I would think there would be a lot of blood on the bandage, assuming she didn't just change the bandage which is unlikely that she did. If a finger were to get cut off like that, a bandage that small would be drenched in blood soon after being applied.
