Season 2 & Michonne link
I've done some searching but can't see this as a thread anywhere. If you see one please share it 
I just finished playing Michonne and I noticed that on the table in Sam's house there is a picture of a dog that looks pretty much exactly like the one that we met back in season two.

Same blue collars and everything.
Do we think this is the same dog or just an easter egg?

Interesting.
I think they probably put that picture in just to act as a memento to show they used to own a dog which probably died before the apocalypse (as there is no marked grave), and it just happens to look like the same dog (maybe this picture was cut from Season 2 and so they just reused it for Michonne).
It be weird to have a person in the family and a dog both named Sam.
It would, I agree. But it wouldn't be impossible, I can imagine Sam at Alex's age wanting to name the family pet after herself =P

John: I was talking about the dog, Samantha.
Sam: ...But the dog's a boy, not a girl.
John: Just kidding, I meant the bitch was you.

Could it be the same dog? after all he was alone when Clementine found him. Maybe he ran away? or it could be a Doppelganger.

There's a photo at Sam the dog's camp of the family he used to be with. It isn't the Fairbanks.
The Fairbanks' photo above shows a white dog, though. I think a more matching picture is somewhere else in the house, with the dog matching Sam's colors while being in the same shot as John and the others.
Another link between Season 2 and Michonne. One of the bodies on the ferry is Pete from the cabin in the woods group. Is it possible that Randal or Pete's friends found him and took him with them before they found the ferry. Maybe........Or more than likely, it's just a reused model.
That dog looks more white than brown/gold, also having a dog name Sam and a daughter is just kinda weird.
I think the only "real" connection to season 2 and Michonne is the can of peaches.
And BANANG
The ears and the Colours looks different.
If we're including BANANG then all of telltales games are connected.
Uhm no because veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery unlikely. Can't stretch the "very" enough.
