Whats The Best Melee Weapon For The Zombie Apocalypse?
In the Zombie Apocalypse. Ammo isn't abundant, Gun aren't either. So what would be YOUR Melee Weapon of Choice?
If I were to pick a Melee Weapon, it would be a Crowbar It can bash a Zombies head in and I can pry things open with it. Car doors be damned!

And, best yet, he doubles as a great projectile.
You can only use that so many times before you break its neck and it turns into a Walker.

A baby corpses head only gets stronger.
Do saltlicks count?
Maybe an ax? Eh. If you don't slam hard enough and it gets stuck, it's gameover. Some can be pretty hefty too. I am not known for physical strength.
Maybe some kind of sword. A katana? In skilled hands, it could be pretty deadly. But I don't have skilled hands...(Or do I?
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)) I don't think a katana is very durable though. I honestly think a crowbar is a solid choice.
No matter the melee weapon, this will be me:
Athletic skills? What are those again? Are those an ice-cream flavor?
Well. A salt lick would only be effective against a Single, incapacitated Zombie, A Fire Axe would last a While. But your right. It can get stuck, and you need some basic swinging skills to make use of it.
Katanas and Swords, again require serious skill to use effectivly. But they can put zombies down with a Good Jab to the face.
A Katana or a Screwdriver? Or what about a Selfie Stick? xD
Tamahawk. It would be perfect.
A Selfie Stick? Zombies don't wanna take selfies son! They wanna eat you!
A Tamahawk? Seems like it has a high likely hood of getting stuck in the zombies skull, like a Hammer.
Not to mention not all Tamahawks are made equal. Some are metal, some are Rocks.
I just got the idea from watching skallagim. He seems to know what he's talking about.
I believe I would go with some sort of spear, given that it doesn't need any ammunition and that I would be a wreak when it comes to close proximity combat.
It depends on the person and your skills.
I would go the Luke route of having a machete
frying pan
Hatchet what Clem/Lee uses or a golf club!!
A machete with a red handle.
Something multi-purposed like a crowbar or e-tool/shovel would great. You can bash a skull in fairly easily and still used them for other stuff. Spears are good too. Just don't go thinking you're Kenshin Hamura just because you found a katana somewhere.
