As of late, starting with Batman, they charge an extra five dollars for the Season Pass disc. Walking Dead New Frontier is, so far, only available for Pre-Order via the Season Pass disc. I assume that the digital purchase will remain at the typical price of $24.99.
Has anyone noticed that ANF is 29.99 instead of the usual 24.99? Batman is 24.99, so why not TWD? I find it interesting. Maybe that means they've put much more money and effort into this game?
It's possible but the problem is that its basically a "family card" and when me or my mom want to buy something so we add money, and my mom buys a lot of stuff online so she can use up my money by accident and I won't be able to buy the game. That is why I want to add the money when the option to pre-order is available so I can instantly buy it and not worry about not having enough.

Guys...GUYS...G U Y S! Can we like not lose our fucking shit because the game isn't out immediately in the first few weeks of November, like come on now. Try to remain positive or just not overhype yourself (Seriously!), that's just going to get you more upset and impatient. Once the first episode is released its smooth sailing, with an episode releasing practically every month. Can ya wait at least another 23 days at the latest, huh.

of course i care about a release date. What an absurd thing to say. It gives you something to look forward to and you know it is actually coming. . And there is nothing to say that they will actually release this game in November. They have been flaky and pushing out release dates before. So unless they actually set a release date, for all I know there wont be a game released in the next 25 days.
amazon states that this season will be released on xbox and PS on december 31, 2016. Is it common for amazon to release a game so much later than telltale? I play the steam version so I dont really know.
That said, I dont believe anything they say with respect to a November release. If they do not actually have a date set, for all i know, the release can potentially be pushed out to later. They have done it before. I mean if they were ready, they would have set a date by now anyway, so as far as Im concerned, everything is up in the air.

Just out of curiosity, when and where was the last time Telltales themselves mentioned November? All I really find from their social media is Batman-related.

Amazon usually lists the release date as December 31st of the year the game releases if they have no exact release date available. It was December 31, 2017 a few days ago, so the fact that it now says 2016 is actually a good sign because it means Amazon has received word from Telltale that it'll be out this year. They just have no set date yet, and Amazon doesn't fuck around with that sort of thing, like saying "probably out in November 2016". Amazon's release date is always the worst case scenario if they have no confirmation otherwise.
And there is no reason to doubt a November release. Here are just some of the points speaking for it:
Sources other than Telltale have stuck to the November release date, such as Robert Kirkman in the latest issue of the comic series and (indirectly) Melissa Hutchison at the Skybound panel.
The Season Pass Disc has already been rated. It's not like we're in complete limbo, and it's not even clear wether Episode 1 will get a seperate rating or not.
Gamestop has not taken down their listing of A New Frontier, they still have it listed to release on November 15th. This might not be an entirely reliable source, but I think Telltale would have told them to at least take down the release date in case it was completely off.

Yes because ONLY twitter confirms stuff and words that come out of your mouth don't? Maybe he didn't actually mean to say that, BUT just because he didn't tweet about it doesn't mean he didn't mean that. Twitter is not everything.

That's from the fan mail section of Issue 160, not by Telltale. It is by Skybound/Robert Kirkman though, who worked on the game series with Telltale ever since 101.
That wasn't directly from Telltale, it was from Robert Kirkman in the latest Walking Dead comic so even though it still mentions November as a likely month it is not direct news from them.

Of course Nick Breckon is going to be one of the main writers, if not the head writer. I forget when, it was several months ago, but it was a tweet from Kevin Bruner talking about some of the events going on in TWD writing room and he mentioned Nick Breckon. Sorry to disappoint you, but, in my opinion, this guy is an amazing writer, so I'm glad to hear he will be back for Season 3. No Going Back and A House Divided are among some of my favorite Telltale episodes. So along with him and Joshua Rubin, we'll also probably have Pierre Shorette, he was a main writer for Season 2 and a small contributor to Season 1. Mark Darin will probably be one of the main designers and/or writers, and considering how she worked on Michonne, quite possibly Nicole Martinez, although I think she'll still be busy with Batman.

Episode 1 is also a good episode in its own right, don't get me wrong, I just really appreciate AHD and NGB a lot more. All That Remains is a very effective and strongly written episode, I just think it might have struggled a bit with its pacing. But it served as a great introduction, not only for the story, but the characters, had some nice callbacks to Season 1, and one of my personal favorite scenes from any Telltale game, and that's Clementine stitching up her own arm, that scene was handled extremely well, both from a writing and visual standpoint.

I didn't like ATR at first, but it grew on me when I replayed it and is my third favourite in S2. I thought sneaking into the cabin was a great part. The choice to talk to Alvin and flesh out his personality is neat. And the patching up scene, while unpleasant, was, as you said, very good from a writer's POV.
I like how Nick Breckon handled deaths. None were unnecessary and all vital to the plot. While people shat on Omid's death, it developed Christa's and Clem's characters. Nick's and Alvin's first death made sense (although for Alv I prefer his second death).
It all shows Nick Breckon's skill and personally I'm a big fan.

You could tell your mom to make sure 25 euros or dollars or whatever need to stay on the visa card. Communication is key. :P
It's hard to keep track of how much money there is. Hell, we don't even know how much there is right now.
I prefer to be safe than sorry.
Cherry cheesecake kicks strawberry cheesecake's ass.

exactly. And frankly, if they had a release date (i.e were ready) they would have announced it. So I figure they arent ready, hence no release date.
Its just a placeholder. No one knows the exact release date but it is this November not December.
Just out of curiosity, when and where was the last time Telltales themselves mentioned November? All I really find from their social media is Batman-related.
You mean that one off handed comment that Job made at a small sky bound stream that Telltale didn't even officially tweet about...Really?

Well the last thing that we got from them that confirms this month was 4 days ago.
During the Skybound panel on October 8th Job said it would release "around November" at 9:55 in the video below.
Whoa...why do I keep seeing that the game has been delayed? Has TellTale said this?
no.

Okay, thanks for the clarification. I just came back and I saw all of this and was confused.
Now that makes me even more upset than I actually am...
Do we know who is writing season 3 yet?
[Blind Sniper Mod Edit: Avoid making rude comments singling out Telltale staff. Thanks.]

Yeah, Nick Breckon is amazing and underappreciated. Ep1, Ep2 and Ep5 were extremely good.
This is it! There's gotta be news this week Clem, there's gotta be!

Funny that I have seen these words for over 3 weeks now.
How You know?
i hope so too!
While I also think we're gonna get something this week, saying it might lead to dissapointment and Telltale boycott if there's nothing :P
Says so on his Twitter page and the offical IMDb page for Season 3.
It's also listed on his LinkedIn page that he will be a writer for Episodes 1 and 2.
