Telltale thinks that Season 1 was successful because people liked that it felt like "Interactive TV" as opposed to liking the immersive, slower paced role playing. That is why Season 2, Wolf, and all other Telltale games since have fewer hubs/puzzles, shorter episodes, more streamlined gameplay, etc.
It wont get the silent treatment. Their probably waiting to surprise us. I just hope our endings from season 2 will have some impact in A new frontier.
I mean I'm scared that, episode 1 is gonna come out, and then boom! No more episodes come out and the whole rest of the season is cancelled. That's what I call the "Silent Hills" treatment.

On the off chance they show the footage today on their Twitch show (which I strongly doubt, or Job would have teased it more), you guys are free to discuss it here, but use spoiler tags. I will not be making a separate thread like I did for Michonne, because if last time is any indication, the footage will not be spoilery.
EDIT: I'm seeing people in Stream chat say footage was "promised" - No, footage at some point was teased, but nothing was "promised" for "this week" - let's avoid spreading that around so people don't get mad at Telltale if they don't show something today.

That is not all there is to it. I like Telltale as much as they next guy, but the simple truth is that Telltale wants to put out more content faster. Now, I'm not suggesting that it is to make a quick buck or anything, their recent series are good and I like that Episodes are coming faster again, but situations like Minecraft Episode 2 are not preferable to a slightly longer wait, and Telltale knows that as well as we do.
Again, I'm not saying that them releasing more content faster is a bad thing - actually quite the opposite - and also not that your argument has no play at all in their decisions. All I'm saying is that they are a company in the end, and they look for a way to make the biggest amount of money in the least amount of time.

That was also the case when they released 90 minute episodes with a 3-4 month waiting period, which was caused by Telltale delaying episodes to incorperate fan feedback. It's not about having less content to get stuff out quicker - they could pad episodes out with hub areas, puzzles, etc like they did in Season 1, but they think that people don't want that.

But I honestly don't see why they'd do that. It is illogical to assume that people don't enjoy the possibility to explore and get to know characters more, or to have longer Episodes, especially since most of it was optional anyway in Season 1.

We have weekend.
There still hope!
I lost my hope to be honest.
Seems like they are trying to always do stuff In the last possible second.
He definitely isn't.
I would sell my left kidney on ebay just to hear Clementine's voice again.
I know her voice won't be that different, but I'm still so excited to hear it again
I'm guessing it's just gonna be a little closer to Beauty's voice from TWAU.
But I just want to hear my child. I am a stressed out father.
Believe me, so am I. I'm so excited to see my girl again.
I'll be expecting the kidney next week. I've an experiment to perform.
goddamn it I walked right into that one
Weekly Twitch starts in ~1 Hours he twittered to the Host.
Maybe we see it there?
I'm so scared that The Walking Dead: A New Frontier is gonna get the Silent Hills treatment.

Dang it man! I was going to make that joke! XD
That's not what I mean.

That's what we hope.
Why would you think they would do that?
I think people are overreacting.
It's just a bit late. It'll be fine.
I don't think they'd do it intentionally, but I'm just prepared for the worst. That's all.
You were too late. Guess that makes you a late bloomer.
Yeah I guess I was. I mean I did grow up having a very sheltered lif-HEY!
where would we go to see this weekly twitch thingy. If it's in an hour I don't want to miss it.
Twitch's official channel.
Theoretically here:
(inb4 it's next week's weekly)
EDIT: Welp.
If it will be next week than what Job said is a lie.
Hey, so sweet, glorious, amazing Telltale when can you give us exciting news about the walking Dead? Hmm?
Telltale: ...
Well I guess
lol, I needed that

"Fans will remember that."
So 29th of November is the pretty much the release date.
I feel like the trailer will drop next Thursday.
I'm going to assume that only the guy (Twitch rep) who responded to Job was sent the footage, and he'll probably save it for his show next week.
My body is ready... for disappointment.
Please let this livestream have news

Wait, how would they do it unintentionally? How would it suddenly stop?
Don't count on it; Job would've made a bigger deal about it at this point. I'm watching it just in case, but don't go in with any expectations.
Better build a new panic room just in case T.T
