Dude I'm kinda lost here. I've played S1 and S2 on the same computer, which is also the one I will play S3. I didn't even deleted the games from my Steam library because I didn't want to lose the save files. They're also in my Steam Cloud. Do I have to do anything to save my choices or it will just load when I start S3?
The walker from the first teaser trailer that Clem takes down looks very similar to the walker in the Official Trailer that Javi is about to take down
Look at the arms.
Actually, look at that zombie in the back. It doesn't have arms either! I wonder what that could mean...
Edit: It's almost like nearly every walker in present day (the scenes Javi is in) don't have arms. The scenes that look to be flashbacks with Clem, zombies has arms. This is from Jesus in the sewers:
I believe it will all transfer seemlessly, just as if you had played on PS4/ Xbox1. The only thing yiu will have to do is select which save file you want to use.

Nu! It has to die! If we don't, it'll consume his face and he'll get food stuck in it and who knows what else! And I bet you anything, Javi's not even carrying a beard grooming kit!
It's the first-aid of beard care Agent, he doomed!
One thing about the '42 different starting points' - this doesnt mean 42 choices but 42 combinations of choices. Which means there will be maybe 6ish choices carried forward total? My maths isn't that great though.
There are 42 different “starting points”, that include not just your ending but the relationships you had with different characters and the … morestyle of player you are.
W-w-what??? Our choices matter!! They... fucking... matter!!!! 42 starting points???? I'm hyperventilating! I need CPR!!
Telltale Support has a new article up about the Save Import system, and you can see some screenshots of the New Frontier menu. They do something similar to what they did for Batman.
Not to burst anyone's bubble, but with the whole '42 starting points' thing, a lot of them are probably going to be small differences. IE, t… morewo of those 42 will be the same, except one guy was friendly to this character while the other wasn't, and stuff like that.
It's less "there's 42 different ways to start" and more "there's 42 permutations for how you can start"
As a small example, one permutation could be "sided with Kenny, shot Lee, didn't shoot Kenny, stayed with Kenny". Another could be "didn't side with Kenny, shot Lee, didn't shoot Kenny, stayed with Kenny". Basically the same, except one part is different.
With that being said though, they still deserve props for actually making a system like this in the first place. For all the crap they get about choices not mattering, they cared enough to go through the trouble of setting all this up.
The only thing holding me back from believing Javier is going to die is that it might end up being similar to Season 1.
But I'd love him to maybe die halfway through and then just play as Clementine, could be interesting, but unlikely considering how much they're pushing Javier.
After watching the trailer some more times I am getting an other theory than before. Clem isn't going to die I think but getting the feeling that Javier will.
Also is this the grave that we saw before?
I mean it wouldnt be that far fetched, Clem and Nate have never interacted. It be kinda weird to see how Nate managed to get himself into su… morech a leader role, but if Telltale wants to have a main antagonist over the 5 episodes, who is interesting and not kinda bland like Carver was, Nate is a pretty good antagonist to introduce ( and a little call back for older fans )

Mhhh, interesting. It seems like the alleyway we saw in the first video sneak peak will be an important place. The main menu seems to show it on the background and the slides from episode 4 and 5 show Clem and Javi (and a bunch of other people) in that place.
In Episode 3's slide we see behind Jesus a skyscraper. Seems like well be leaving the beautiful natural athmosphere Season 2 had to a more rural and urban setting. Mehh.
Apparently, leaving Wellington with Kenny will result on Clem ending up in the same place as the alone ending, the only difference being that Clem will be with him. Or maybe they just used that background to all the endings?
Episode 5's slide seems to show Javier reeling up a crowd? Some sort of revolution? Will he become some sort of hero to his people for maybe taking down the "bad guys" from The New Frontier and stop whatever it is they are doing (what is "something else, Clem? Be more specific wtf...)?
Or maybe he is actually trying to deliver a speech/talk and just shot in the air to have order (unlikely since he doesn't have his finger on the trigger)? Anyways, it seems like he's in a leadership position and people are following him.
Aditionally, I'm very sad that the color scheme we had in Season 2 for the menu is gone : (.
It's just odd. Everything is way too polished and modern for a The Walking Dead game... Still, it's not ugly at all.

Mhm, so Jesus will stick around for more than ep 1 and/or 2. I'm pretty sure this is set just before we pick up the comic in 127, cause Jesus is in his old get up and he is (presumably) away from the main groups.

Yea, I wasn't really expecting him to be around past the first two episodes, figured it would be kinda like Glenns appearance in S1. Not sure how I feel about that tbh, squeezing in a popular character for 2/3 episodes along with the returning protagonist and her story during the time between S2 and ANF, and a new protagonist with his extended family and their story since the beginning of the outbreak.

I regret that Javier post so much. I've never regretted something this much in my life.
now everyone will think of me as the beard licker.
see what the long wait for this game did to me, telltale?
The Choices thingy is weird because it doesn't show all the episodes I've completed, so I'm sure you're fine.
And yeah, Season 2 save has Seadon 1 choices as well AFAIK.

Thread: Is it comming for Android?
Is the game comming for mobile Android devices if it's comming than what is the date of release?
a
What is it
I've used this joke too many times.
Javier's beard appreciates that
If they had chosen any other ending people would cry favouritism for Kenny/Jane
Yes, New Frontier is coming out on Android. Check the main post of the Episode 1 + 2 Waiting Thread.

Exactly. Going by this I reckon there will only be 6-8 choices carried forward? I'm sure there's some kind of mathematical formula to figure it out.

Nate struck me as a loner to be honest, can't see him leading a community, though I'd love to see more of him
clementine is looking murderous in that episode 4 slide

Javi and his family look like they're posing for a New Left4Dead game. I wish this was a thing.
And oh god that picture with the body lying on the ground, it looks all burned o.o
They grow up so fast Wolfy! T.T before we know it she'll be sucker punching dates in the face.

Don't worry waffle, it's simply your wolfy instincts. So long as you don't pee in the backyard and chew up the carpet, everything's peachy.
Thank chu.

Such a pretty menu!
Wolf has a chocolate fetish and a beard fetish confirmed.
That my girl! Sorry for quality lol.
Please let there be some Lee flashbacks. My heart would explode seeing Lee in the new engine!
Mine too! After I nearly cried seeing Lee in the last episode of season 2 ... I need more Lee flashbacks!
